Chapter 8:A little quiet time

It had been a few weeks since Kagome had decided to join Inu Yasha and Kiriu. The sun had set as Kiriu sits outside the cave looking up toward the stars. Inu Yasha was laying on his back, looking at her silently, though it wasnt noticable through his golden yellow eyes which were nearly shut. Long sleeves to hang over his clawed fingers with the tetsuiga resting on the ground next to him. She yawned as she stood up slowly dusting off her dress as she walks back into the cave. He had closed his eyes slightly now, one eyes to slide open to watch her, his hands resting in his lap, more like on his chest. Kiriu sat down against the wall away from kagome and as she took of her guitar and layed it at her side. Inu Yasha turned himself to his side, before his ears perked up and he leaned up slightly, he could smell something, but wasnt exactly sure right now... It smelled… kinda good. Kiriu yawned closeing her eyes as she slowly fell into a deep peaceful sleep. As the morning came Kiriu slowly opened her white eyes. Inuyasha had slowly opened his eyes, though he didnt make himself look awake, not just yet. He felt like spying on the two for a bit. Kiriu sat up and stretched as she yawned she smiled enjoying the warmth from the morning sunlight. Inu Yasha's nose began to tinkle when he had slightly tensed, he could feel a sneeze coming on, sneezing largly, he smacked his head on the wall, and almost groaned but still kept pretending to be asleep. Her ears twitch as she smiled her smile was sweet and inocent just like her mothers was. "I think im ganna go for a walk" She stood up and stretched again fixing her hair and dress as Kagome looked at her and nodded. "ill make breakfast then." She glanced back to Inu Yasha then got up and went outside to make breakfast. Kiriu picked her guitar up and left the cave walking through an open field singing happily. Inu Yasha was silent, in a sneaky matter as he walked, his claws almost diging into the tree trunk as he would watch Kiriu silently. She picked one of the flowers and ran her fingers softly on the flowers pettels as the flower grows a little bigger and she smiles a soft sweet gentle smile. She caught Inu Yasha scents. "Good morning Inu Yasha." He blinked and almost fell backwards and walked out from behind the tree. "...What are you doing..?" He had said rather calmly and blinked again seeing her giggle a little "nothing I was just playing with the flowers." His brow raised and his ears twitched. "Inu Yasha how come you act so mean to that girl?" "She is annoying..... And a human" he lowered his head in a glar. "She smells of her.... I hate her…" "Who does she smell like?" He had a slight flashback "...Kikyou" a growl occured in his voice. She heard the growl and her ears lowered a little as she stayed silent. He watched her silently. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to bring back bad memorys." Inu Yasha simply shrugged it off "I don't care I'll get my revenge." "You sound like my brother when you say that." He looked at her "you're compaireing him to me!" "Well you are kind of like him." He had tried to shrug that off. "Whatever" he got up and walked off. Kiriu sighed and took out her guitar as she began to play. He looked to the sky, a bit mad of the bringing of his memories to come back. Watching to the sky at a sudden stop he let off a sigh lissening to Kiriu's song. Kiriu played a song that she knew her mother use to play. The song opened up more memorys for Inu Yasha of Kira Kiriu's mother. He had sighed softly, then turned slightly, he felt something near...
