(disclaimer: own nothing but my plot. I know this chapter is really short but I promise I’m leading up to something!)
Kagome paced the kitchen as Inuyasha’s roars echoed through the house. She winced each time a scream echoed. What is Kikyo doing to him? She thought biting her lip.
Sango rounded the kitchen and gave her sister a sympathetic look. Each roar made the girl cringe and cast pain and worried filled eyes towards the dungeon. “I know we agreed that I would wait until night falls but…” Another roar as tears filled her eyes, “Sango…” She all but moaned. Sango gave her a sad smile. “Okay Kagome, as soon as Kikyo leaves Monk Miroku and I will escort you to see him.” She nodded and continued to pace listening to his pain filled moans.
Not long after their conversation Kikyo walked up the stairs covered in blood and grinning happily. Kagome could barely contain her horror from showing on her face until Kikyo had passed her. The woman gave her a smug smile before disappearing around the corner. Kagome gave Sango a panicked look before running down the stairs.
