Kagome awoke several hours later to find Inuyasha sleeping soundly in her lap. The deep gouges on his face and chest were nothing more than pink lines and she couldn’t stop the sigh of relief that escaped her. His ears twitched and one bright golden eye opened slightly. “How are you feeling?” The hanyou stretched his arms over his head and wrapped them around her waist, “much better thanks to you.” She giggled and hugged his neck, “I have to go Inuyasha; if Mistress Kikyo goes into my room and I’m not there she may be crueler on you.”
“If you don’t get hard, if you don’t allow my torture, I will make you change by killing Kagome.” Kikyo’s harsh words ran through his mind. Wasn’t that why Kikyo had attacked him with a knife this time though? He couldn’t keep his erection for her? Would she still blame Kagome? He thought of the hours of slow torture she had given him. She lifted his head gently and stood. “I’ll come as often as I can tomorrow.” With that said she disappeared up the stairs and Inuyasha settled back against the wall with a heavy feeling in his heart that he couldn’t place.
