Together forever: Always there

So here I was...Standing on a bridge...waiting in the dark...and I thought that you'd be here by now...I could swear thats a song...

It's been a week by now, all we've been doing is wandering village to village waiting to get to Taichi's wolf den, I swear Taichi is just scared to go home after being away for so long...I could sense something in Taichi it wasn't anything bad...but it was like he was...clean...he was pure he didn't have that demon type feeling...It was more of a spiritual feeling...

I saw a figure running towards me and I saw in the distance who it was, I smiled to myself gently, Lynn always late. Me and Lynn decided that we would wake up just before sunrise so we could email Li and the others telling them what was going on and how safe we were and when we could make time to see when we could go home.

We talked for a while about pointless things, it really had nothing to do with anything, all she would talk about is how much she loved Li, and how cute taichi was...to be honest she didnt act anything like her parents at all, but that was always good. No one ever wanted to be the exact replica of their parents, Lynn looks like her mother, but she has this hyper type attitude. And there was this thing about her that maybe just maybe, she'd grow up to be something great.

As we talked, we saw the sun start to rise above the horizion, I was the one who got up first and started to head back to the village. I heard Lynn stutter and trip then run after me, I rolled my eyes for someone who thinks she's so great at fighting she sure is clumsy.

By the time we reached back to the village, Taichi was standing at the exit his arms crossed, leaning against the post, eyes closed. He seemed relaxed, that is until Lynn just happend to glomp him and scream how cute he looked like that.

"Lynn, get off him"

She looked up at me, and blinked then got off and started to mutter things.

I just smiled and held my hand out to Tai, He took my hand and he hoisted him self up, "thanks"

"No problem."

"Listen, my wolf den isn't that far from here, you see those mountains in the distance, that's my wolf den its behind the water fall"

I looked up, and saw a beautiful mountain with a hueish blue running down it like water, wait a second if we were this close the whole time, why did we even stop here? Was he scared? Worried, what? It wasn't like him to be this way...

"We should take our leave now, I want to get there and out as soon as possible...now lets get a move on."

Lynn smiled and nodded her head, she linked her arm with his and they started to walk away, I just stood there looking at the mountains into the distance.

'If we were this close...why did w-'

"Hey Hikaru! You comin or what?"

I looked up, and I nodded, "sorry!" I ran to catch up with them, it wasn't everyday I was left behind, okay so maybe it was but...it wasn't like I was just sitting there thinking about boys...unlike someone we all know...and love!

Tai looked at me, his eyes were shining, his eyes never shine...what was he up to...

"So, were you thinking about Koji is that why you just stopped suddenly?..."

I blinked, then blinked again, and again and again, "Is that a serious question? HE'S A LECHOROUS MONK!" I stated, I was beyond confused, why would I be thinking of him...HIM OF ALL PEOPLE! I could feel the inner me wanting to come out and strangle Tai, but I kept her under control.

When I heard a deep chuckle fill the air, I looked over at Tai he was laughing hysterically, I could feel my blood boiling I was beyond ready to strangle.

He just wrapped an arm around my shoulder, "Oh I get it, you don't like him, so who exactly was it you were thinking about? Was it, shippou, a guy from your era, Lynns boyfriend, who was it huh Hikaru?"

I paled at the mention of Li, why did he have to talk about him infront of me like that, it was painful enough just to hear Lynn tell me all the emails that he had sent to her. I wouldn't tell anyone how I had felt, he was the only man who actually had, had the guts to even stand up to me, and tell me what to do, him and taichi...but...taichi didn't make me feel the same way Li did...Li was...special.

"Hikaru, Hikaru? You okay? Taichi LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID, APOLOGIZE!"

I blinked then smiled, "No Lynn,its fine...I just zoned out for a bit, painful memories of...a certain someone..."

Lynn stared at me in concern and Tai just snorted and muttered about what a baby I was, but he knew full well that I was very strong maybe not emoitionally but I was strong when someone needed me.

By the time we reached the wolf den, no one had talked since then, I could feel something, I didn't know what it was but it was nerve racking. I turned around swiftly and grabbed for one of my Blades, and held my bow tightly.

"Heh, Taichi seems this girl here is more attentive than you are...You should have been able to pick up my scent but I suppose you being a cross breed weakens your nose"

Oh yea, Taichi was a cross breed he had told me after he had that fight with Sakura...

Flash back

"Listen, I'm not full wolf..."

I blinked softly and peered up at him in curiosty, "than what are you?a half demon?"

"No, I'm a cross breed" He looked up at me, his eyes shining with hurt,"My father is a wolf demon, he mated with an angel demon, my mother, who had lied to him and gave off the appearance of a wolf demon because she had loved him so much. When me and My twin sister were born...He had found out she was an angel demon, My father loved my sister, Keiko, but hated me. I give off the apperance of a wolf and I smell like a wolf, and i'm fast like a wolf, but most of my powers come from the heavens. My mother is a gaurdian angel demon in heaven, there for I never see her. So bascially I'm alone because my father thinks of me as a disgrace. He had loved my mother, but because I had begged my mother not to go, the Gods decided that she should not get attached and she may see me once a year. My father hates me because my mother is now gone...the only one I have left is my sister! And thats why I dont want to go back to my den, thats why I wish my family would rot in the pits of hell!"

My eyes widend softly, "Tai...", I felt something flutter inside my chest and I touched his forehead a bright light erupted and he smiled, then fell ontop of me knocked out. I heard my self whisper some words, thse words were, "Sleep, Wolf Angel demon from the heavens"

End of Flash back

I stared at the man who had now came, he looked like Tai, it must be his father, but I don't understand, why would his father hate him so much just because of something that was meant to happen...

I saw Tai glare hard at the man then scoff and turn away.

"Look at me when I'm talking to you boy!"

Tai's eyes were burning with hatred, "Dont talk to me like you own me! You don't even deserve the title of Father, You digust me!"

Just then I saw a girl come sliding down the mountain on her feet, she flipped up into the air and landed perfectly on her feet. She was beautiful she had light brown hair with dark streaks, her hair went a little passed her shoulders and she had light green eyes.

"You two are at it already? FATHER, I told you in order for his hate for you to demolish you need to show him love and affection! Just like mother would do...but just know no matter what...Im always there..."As she talked, her voice got lighter, she looked to the ground sadly at the mention of her mother, and Tai and his father became slient...

I stared at the broken family in complete concern, what they needed was a mother, and they needed one fast. But not just any mother...they needed Her...
