Advice...again
Shippou was gathering wood with Inuyasha and Miroku. And he needed advice again...
"Ummmm" he said uncertainly "Guys? Can I ask you for some advice? Again? Just you guys this time?"
"Toimya?" Miroku guessed
"Well...yes." he said slowly "Sort of....I'm sort of scared to ask though. Promise not to laugh"
"Hey man. We can only do so much" Inuyasha stopped picking up logs and turned his full attention to Shippou with a big grin.
"Well okay then." Shippou took a very deep breath. "How did you guys know you know you were in love? With Kagome and Sango?"
Miroku's jaw dropped, and Inuyashas eyes went as big as saucers.
"Well...um...It's hard to explain" Inuyasha stammered
"It's a feeling you get..."
"When your heart flutters and you can think of the most...promicuious things and it doesn't seem so forbiden" he blushed crimson
Miroku looked at him proudly. "I think you're hit the nail on the head"
"Well there's a big difference between love and horney" Inuyasha said seriously
Shippou blushed but went on. "It's not just that. I could stay with her forever and never need anyone else. I hate leaving her even for just a second. I want to make her happy. I feel like I'd do anything to make her happy"
"Well in the end you're the only one who can tell. For me it was when I came to the realization that Kikyo suddenly meant nothing to me" Inuyasha smiled in remembrance of that moment
"I think it was the first time I thought she was going to die" Mirokus eyes clouded
The men went back to colecting wood.
Meanwhile at the hotsprings...
Sango Kagome and Toimya were lounging in the springs.
"Sango Kagome? Can I ask you something again?"
They both looked up.
"Sure" they said in unison
"How do you know that you're in love?" she asked "And how do you know that he loves you? And how do you know that you're ready to...to...to... you know"
"Oh wow" Sango said quietly
"Well, there's no way to describe how you feel when you're in love, and you'll know that he loves you when one of you admits it." Kagome blushed "And as for the other thing...you'll know. You probably won't even expect it."
Sango squirmed. "Try not to let him tease you" she murmured.
"There is one thing though." Kagome said seriously "He'll try to leave a mark on you. On your neck. " she flipped her hair back to show a small scar "That marks you as his, forever. No demon will ever touch you"
"Does it hurt?"
"Which part?" Kagome asked
"Both" she murmured
"The mark will only hurt for a few minutes"
Sango looked at her younger companion "The other will but only for a moment" she laughed "Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this"
"I did" Toimya said softly. "I always imagined being one of the girls talking about a man. I've dreampt of it so many times..."
A\N: Long enough? As I said rating may change. And while I'm thinking about it. Thanx to Lia (her reel name not pen name) for introducing me to inuyasha and haveing the crazy idea that shippou and kirara should be together.
