It had been three days sense the incident at the business district. Kagome went to school each day nonetheless, but didn't say anything to pretty much anyone. Sango had been really upset over the whole ordeal but was still there to comfort Kagome when she needed it.
Miroku was stunned at the fact that something like this could happen to one of his friends. Although he was there for the incident he still didn't believe it.
Inuyasha barely spoke to any one as well. Whenever Miroku passed him in the halls he would just look up at him and then trudge on to class.
Kagome and Inuyasha hadn't really spoken to anyone, not even the teachers if they called on them during class. Inuyasha was always in deep thought and Kagome was just to out of it to do anything.
Inuyasha would still walk Kagome home from school, now more then ever. Kagome's mom was reassured over and over by Inuyasha that he would never let anything happen to Kagome if he walked her home. Inuyasha would wait by her locker patiently and then walk her home even though the two really didn't strike up much of a conversation.
This pattern kept up until after school on Friday. Kagome and Sango were planning on going to the movie theater.
~*~**~*~
Sango circled around her room nervously. How could she call Kagome? Kagome wouldn't want to go to the movies after what happened. But then again it could cheer her up. But then again would she even be able to focus on the movie. What if really wanted to go?
Sango's thoughts were interrupted when she heard the phone ring. She darted over to it and answered it quickly expecting it to be Kagome but instead wound up answering to Miroku.
"Sango, I heard you and Kagome were going to the movies today." Miroku answered innocently. Sango knew better, she knew he was up to something. "Miroku what do you want…" She sighed getting straight to the point.
Miroku cringed at her tone of voice but instead he answered back getting `to the point' "Sango I was wonder if you would consider allowing me and Inuyasha to come along.
Sango was just about to scream NO! As loud as she could into the telephone but instead gave it a second thought. If Inuyasha came along Kagome would feel much obliged to come along. Not to mention safer.
Sango grumbled and to much of Miroku's surprised agreed. He knew he had a chance to go if he mentioned Inuyasha but he still never thought they would agree.
Sango shook her head for a second before it dawned on her. "Miroku, how exactly did you GET MY PHONE NUMBER?" Miroku smirked to himself and just replied "Inuyasha gave it to me." Sango almost bought it for a second before she questioned him again. "How did Inuyasha get it?" there was no way he was going to tell her about him eaves dropping on her and Kagome's conversation during lunch but he decided to just brush the subject off.
"Does it really matter Sango?" Miroku asked with a smirk. Sango sighed and decided to swallow her pride. "Whatever I need to call Kagome and tell her that you and Inuyasha are coming…" and with that she hung up.
Sango paused for a moment before dialing Kagome's number. She just hoped that Kagome still wanted to come.

After the arrangements were made Kagome rushed all over the house in an attempt to get ready. After about the fiftieth change of clothes Kagome finally presumed she was ready to leave. She glanced over at the clock and it read 6:45 she had fifteen minutes until her friends came to pick her up.
Kagome looked around her room to find something that could keep her reoccupied until her eyes laid on her bed. It had been a while since her last diary entry. When she walked over to her bed to retrieve her diary she noticed the envelope that held the pictures she had developed.
She picked up the envelope and opened it up. The first picture she saw was of Sango during history. She smiled to herself as she began looking through the pictures again.
The next one was of Sango during chemistry. And the one after that was of Miroku and Sango during lunch. After that one was the one of Inuyasha.
Kagome stared at the picture then separated them from the rest along with the picture of her and Inuyasha together. Smiling, she put the other pictures away and reached for her diary and slipped the two pictures inside.

Inuyasha mumbled to himself then glared daggers at Miroku. Friday wasn't a night to go out on, it was a night to stay inside and sleep all day. But instead he was going to be dragged to the movie theater.
"Why the hell do I have to go anyways?" Inuyasha questioned Miroku while rummaging through his clothes. Miroku looked over to his hostile friend then grinned again. Inuyasha knew why, he just didn't admit it.
Inuyasha cursed loudly again when he stubbed his toe on the closet door. Miroku waited for it one…. Two…. Three…. There was a sudden large BANG from when Inuyasha kicked the closet door as hard as he could. Satisfied with himself he picked up his clothes and went to change.
Feh Inuyasha grumbled to himself, no use fighting now. After Inuyasha was finally ready he walked down stairs, and to his delight saw Miroku tumble down them.
After Miroku collected himself and hit the laughing Inuyasha a couple times they were both ready to go.

Sango waited impatiently on her steps. Were they coming or not? They were supposed to go and pick her up first because she lived along the way to Kagome's house.
Sango was just about to go inside and called them, when she heard a loud cussing Inuyasha and a thousand sorry's from Miroku. A small smile crept her lips when she saw the two round the corner.
Inuyasha was chasing Miroku down for only god knows what and Miroku was having trouble trying to stay away from his hostile friend.
They almost passed Sango's house entirely but stopped just a little before it when Sango called out to them.
"Well better late then never!" Sango called out while smiling at the two immature teenagers. Miroku struggled to free himself and was quite please with himself when he wiggled out of Inuyasha's grasp.
Miroku just smiled and ran behind Sango using her as a living shield. Inuyasha made his way over to Sango to shove her aside and settle things with Miroku but stopped when he thought about how Kagome would react when she learned that he shoved her best friend into traffic. (And not to mention suffer the wrath of a very pissed Sango) He sighed to himself and sucked up his pride.
"Coward" Inuyasha mumbled while sticking his chin up in the air and making his way towards Kagome's house.
Sango and Miroku just stared blankly at each other then ran to catch up with Inuyasha.

Kagome was starting to worry. Even though her friends were even a little bit late she started to worry. She shrugged it off when she realized that this was Inuyasha she was talking about. He would probably cause harm to other people before someone would try to hassle him.
She was relieved when she saw her friends walking toward her house. Inuyasha leading the way followed by a wary Miroku and a cheery Sango.
Before they could make their way to knock on her door. Kagome busted out of her house and made her way down to her awaiting friends.
"Hi Kagome!" a cheery Sango greeted. Kagome smiled and nodded back. Miroku looked really pleased to see Kagome walk toward him. And Inuyasha just looked pissed.
Kagome hadn't said a word to Miroku ever sense the incident and was almost shocked when she walked toward him and bowed her head.
"Arigato" Was the only thing she said until raising her head to look at him. She smiled and made her way over to Sango. To talk to her about what her brother had done that morning.
Inuyasha of course being Inuyasha was slightly jealous that Miroku received thanks and he didn't. A matter of fact he would have actually turned around and blow up in her face but because of what happened to her, he once again, swallowed his pride.
"Well we have about forty five minutes until the movie starts so what should we do?" Sango questioned. Miroku wasn't paying attention what so ever and was watching the swaying of Sango's hips as she walked.
Kagome and Inuyasha gave it some thought. After a brief discussion it was decided that they would get a quick bite to eat. And were better to go then a fast food restaurant. After another conversation it was decided that they would go to Wacdounald's.
Along the way there Miroku and Inuyasha had another argument over who would pay and after the small dispute started to get larger and larger, Kagome suggested that they should just split the cost.
Finally they had arrived and Inuyasha went to go take the order. After the food was ordered all four of them took their seats in an empty booth.
"How often do you guys come here?" Kagome questioned trying to strike a conversation. Sango thought for a moment then answered. "Me and my brother Kohaku used to go to the Wacdounalds back home all the time, but I have never been to this one."
Kagome nodded in agreement and noticed that Inuyasha hadn't said a word to her all evening. `Just give him time he will talk when he feels like it' Kagome thought quietly to herself, while munching a french-fry.
Miroku watched Sango eating out of the corner of his eye and used every attempt possible to scoot closer to her. He smiled to himself as she didn't seem to notice. Inuyasha of course noticed and just shook his head and continued eating.
After they had finished eating they made their way to the movie theater.
