Discclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha.
Inuyasha slowly pulled away from Kagome. Her eyes were still closed from the kiss they had shared. There was a pause and Inuyasha broke away from her. Kagome opened her eyes to see him staring at the door way like he had just seen a ghost. She wipped her self around to see Kikyo standing there, her expression was in shock. Kagome felt like she was the worst person in the world, she lowered her eyes. She couldn't bring herself to look back at Kikyo. All she wanted to do at that moment was get out of there, escape, bury herself six feet under and rise again with this never happening. Hoshien formed at the back of her mind and she winced as if it hurt her to think of him at a time like this, right after she had cheated. She was just like Kikyo.
Inuyashe stared at Kikyo, his words were jammed in his throught, he wanted to say something but it was like the phrase was hanging on the sides and strangling his voice box. He swallowed hard and blinked. Kikyo just stood there, not believing what she had just witnessed, not believing that all this has been going on and she didn't have the slightest idea till that day. So many things swarmed through her mind but she couldn't pick wich one she wanted to say. After a long pause, a faint. "Inuyasha." Was the only thing she could choke out. He flinched at the way she sounded, he could tell that at any moment she was going to cry. He wanted to run up to her and hold her, apologize a million times. He felt bad for Kagome, she was just standing there like this was the most akward thing that has ever happened.
"Kikyo, It wasn't-" He said but cut himself off, because it was. It was a kiss, it was something, and it was a kiss that was meant to show Kagome how he really felt about her, he couldn't lie about that. Especially infront of Kagome. And of all people that could have seen it, expierienced it with him had to be his own girlfriend. 'How can this be happening?' He thought with an angered expression. He clenched his fist, he didn't know how to deal with it, this had never happened before.
Kikyo looked up from were she was standing, right into Kagome's eyes. She glared at her, like she wanted to rip Kagome from the inside out. Kagome cringed, she felt like a deer in headlights, not breaking the stare no matter how much she wanted to just run away, no matter how much it hurt her. Kikyo broke her piercing stare by turning around and running away. Kagome pitied her, she envied her, all that she wanted to do, was to run away. Inuyasha looked around like he was lost, like he didn't even know where he was. They looked at each other, then he broke thier gaze and followed after Kikyo.
Kagome watched his every move as he left the room with out ever looking back. She stood there, staring at her toes that slid into her black and red high heels. She couldn't tell any part of her body to move, so she fell down to her knees and held her face in her hands.

Kikyo ran past the reunited, cheerful and love-struck couple of Miroku and Sango. They looked up at Kikyo quickly noticing the distress she was going through. They looked at each other. "What's going on?" Sango asked Miroku in a worried tone. Before he could answer Inuyasha rushed past them, not even noticing that they were his friends instead of just another couple he had never seen before. Again Sango gave Miroku a worried glance.
"What is going on?" He questioned and looked back and fourth between the place Inuyasha and Kikyo exited and the corner they were just turning into. Sango's face turned from confused and worried to angered and determined. She broke away from Miroku and stormed into the coat room, and she stopped, there was her best friend silently shaking in tears. Sango ran over and put her arms around Kagome.
"What happened?!" She asked aghast at how disturbed and pained her friend was. Miroku stood at the entrance of the room looking down at his Sango and one of his best friends. He knew what had happened, after seeing the three people that were undoubtedly caught in a factious love triangle. He sighed. "This was going to happen. One way or another."
Sango gave him a look that said 'shut up, this is not the time, but I know.' Miroku's phone began to ring. He quickened at the sound and loud vibration, disturbing the silence and seriousness of the situation. He waved a hand to Sango apologetically and stepped out into the hall. "Hello?" He said finally answering.
"Miroku, where the hell are you?" Came Kouga's loud voice on the other line.
MIroku sighed not wanting to explain the drama. It was soon to give him a headache. "I'm getting fresh air. It's hot in there with all the people grinding."
"You're out there!" He yelled over the music. "Listen, I'm coming out. Inuyasha has got Kikyo crying and hysterically yelling at him. There's people crowding around the room to get a better look and to witness the action!" The thumping bass in the background began to quiet as Kouga left the large crowded room.
"Oh great." Miroku said thinking of how he was going to have to deal with this too. "Kagome is crying."
"What?" Kouga asked anxiously. "No way! Why what happened?"
Miroku paused not knowing why Kouga had the sudden interest in this subject. He was the kind of guy to get a kick out of the Kikyo scene than a crying Kagome scene. He pinched the bridge in between his eyes in frustration. "Inuyasha..again."
"Where is she?"
"In the coat room. Sango is comforting her." Miroku said after hesitantion. Kouga hung up. Then a minute later appeared turning around the corner and then walked quickly towards the entrance of the coat room. Miroku stopped him. "Stay out here, it's not really the time for a guy to step in, especially after a different guy caused this." He advised.
Kouga nodded. "Yea." He leaned up against the wall. "So what happened exactly. You know?"
Miroku shook his head. "All i know is that it had to have consisted of Inuyasha, Kikyo and her. Sango and i saw Inuyasha running after Kikyo both looked disturbed and Kikyo looked like she was about to cry."
Kouga's face hardened. "That asshole needs to figure out what he wants. And he fucking better do it fast."
Miroku nodded, surprised that he agreed with something Kouga had to say.

Inuyasha quickly turned into the room Kikyo had entered. He stopped to stare at her holding her face bawling into her hands. He walked up to her and hesantly wrapped his arms around her from behind.
"Don't, touch, me." She said between gasps of air. He took a step back. She shook off the feeling of him being nere her, touching her. "Why, why why?" She said weakly. "Why did you do it?" She turned around and stared at him with puffy eyes expecting an answer.
He hesitated before answering. "I don't know." He paused. "Kikyo, listen-"
"No, you listen!" She drilled a finger into his chest hoping it hurt him. He flinched and rubbed it as she pulled away and continued. "I have changed so much for you! Just for you! I don't do anything I use to, I have turned from the worst girlfriend to the best one in a couple of months. Then this girl comes around, and things start to change. Sometimes i think that it would have been better to go back to my old ways, when I broke you. Not when you break me, my heart, and ruin my life!"
"No." He said once she paused to wipe away her tears. "Kikyo." He choked out advancing towards her.
"I said stay away from me!" She screamed. He looked at her like she was insane, he had never seen her like this before. "I hate you. I hate you more than anything." She turned around to leave she focused on the ground. "I hope you know that I'm moving, soon. To Ohio. I didn't want to tell you, because I didn't want you to get mad, I didn't want to hurt you, because I knew it would affect you. But I guess not, not after this." She mumbled, another round of tears swelled in her eyes. She advanced toward the door then stopped. "Go to hell, Inuyasha."
The words crept out of her mouth and sank into his skin like poison. Never before has she said anything like that, not that way. Her words were like a death threat. He couldn't imagine how much he had hurt her, and it hurt him knowing that he did. Letting the situation sink in, he walked out of the room through the crowd of people that had developed around the exit during the fight. He didn't care that people saw him upset. He walked to the coat room and stopped dead when he saw Kagome on the ground in Sango's arms. He couldn't take this, the two girls he cared for were hurt. Just because of him, because he was an asshole and had to jump back and forth between the two not making up his mind. Not once did he think it would come to this. He dropped his head. Kouga put his arm around his friend.
And that is the end of Volume I.
I don't know when I will be finished with the second Volume. But just you wait! ^_^
I'll try my hardest. As fast as I can.
Sorry for the shortness.
While your down here, might as well answer a question with a lil R&R!
