InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Toxic ❯ Pretty Warrior ( Chapter 1 )
[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
Disclaimer: Yeah…yeah…I'm back with another story. I'm very, very, very sorry I haven't updated anything yet!!!!!! I'm really getting to it! But I've been so busy lately with school so as soon as summer comes I will update lots of things. A few of my friends had requested Sesshoumaru/Kikyo fics and then another requested a Sesshoumaru/Sango fic…so…I started these and well…yeah. My first Sess/San fic. I just thought it would be interesting to write one. I'm not really a fan but who knows? Besides…out of the Inu-gumi, Sango seems to be best suited for Sesshoumaru. So it just seems like an very interesting but great match. Though Kikyo beats any Inu-girl at making a perfect match with Sesshoumaru…I'd say Sango would come close. This story takes place in between when Sesshoumaru got his arm cut off and before the Inu-gumi met Sango.
Rated: R (Violence, Fighting, Intense Sexual Scenes, and some Language.)
Pairing: SesshoumaruXSango

Chapter 1 : Pretty Warrior
She sat with her back facing the tree and her arms folded. The sakura petals fell down in a mist before her beautiful face. Her bright brown eyes remained unblinking as she watched her brother, Kohaku in the field. A slight purifying warm smile came across her face.
Kohaku sat among the flowers watching the bees swirl around the beautiful colored petals the get the sweet honey from the flower's center. Some fear showed in his eyes as he remembered his father's words. A warm, tender hand laid itself gently on Kohaku's shoulder. Kohaku held his breath and turned into warm, beautiful eyes. “Sango…” he said watching her sister's warm expression. “Kohaku…you aren't scared of being a demon slayer, are you?” Sango smiled teasingly. Kohaku puffed out his chest. “Of course not…I'm just…” Kohaku started. Sango gave a chuckle. “It's alright. I was scared too. But don't worry…” Sango soothed him. Kohaku blinked. “You were scared?!” he asked surprised. “Uh-huh.” Sango half sighed as her finger's intertwined with a pretty flower. “But…It's sokay…I'll always be there for you…and so will father…and all the other demon slayers…” Sango said sitting down and placing her back against the Kohaku's. Kohaku realized how warm and relaxing his sister's body felt. He felt himself almost fall asleep.
“Kohaku?” came her beautiful voice.
“Yeah…?”
“Mm…never mind.” She replied mysteriously.
“Mew?” the purring of a tiny demon animal approached the two. “Hey Kirara…” Sango cooed as she pet the small cat demon. Kirara purred at her master's gentle warm touch then leaped onto Sango's lap. Sango's fingers made their way under the feline's chin and Kirara purred louder. Kohaku turned to lie stomach down and watch Sango pet Kirara. “You're good with animals…” he said. “It's a wonder…demons still like you even if our family does kill them…” Kohaku studied the cat demon. Sango turned to Kohaku. “Well…not all demons are bad. Remember Kohaku…demons are darkness…humans are light…but their will always be a door to the light. Demons are just too lost to find that. But some do…with a little help…” Sango's words of wisdom made Kohaku think. Kohaku gaped at his sister's touching words. He blinked as Kirara meowed again. Kohaku then smiled and pet the cat demon on the head.
Some villagers were watching the two from their huts. “Those demon slayers…so fierce and strong in battle…but so kind and gentle…we all should be thankful to have such great people.” an old man said. The old women smiled. “That Sango…she's one of a kind ya know. She's such a sweet girl…always was so strong yet delicate. Yes there is no one that can replace Sango…and how she cares for Kohaku. Those two have such a special bond.”
Sesshoumaru walked gracefully on the dirt-covered path in the forest. Jaken used his staff to assist himself across the roots of the trees growing in the ground. Jaken couldn't help but glance at his master's torn off left arm. `I can't believe lord Sesshoumaru's runt of a half brother defeated Sesshoumaru and got away with the sword.' Jaken thought angrily. He remembered the scene as Inuyasha cut the left arm of Sesshoumaru's dog demon form. Jaken wondered what the lord's next move would be. Sesshoumaru remained quiet as he glanced unblinking ahead. The leaves of the green forest fell down in the breezes of wind as he walked on.
Sango was bathing in the hot springs. She was daydreaming about what her father had told them earlier. They were to go to a village the next day. And it was Kohaku's first battle. She smiled. `He'll be fine…I hope…' Sango thought to herself feeling the sudden need to worry. Sango splashed water on her face. Once she had washed herself she got out quickly and got dressed. She couldn't wait to get a good night's rest.
Disclaimer: Gomen…my chapters are usually short in the beginning. They get longer, I promise! Anyway…I kind of skipped the chapter were Kohaku gets taken under Naraku's control. Don't wanna spoil anything! So this leaves Sango buried alive…but what if Naraku didn't find her and what if she took off on her own? Teehee…a little twist.

Chapter 2 : Forgotten Memories
By: Hikari
Sango opened her eyes weakly. It was pitch black. She clenched her teeth in realization that she had been buried alive from the battle. No. Not from the battle. Sango pushed as hard as her strong will and remaining strength would allow. The ground gave through and she burst up gasping for breath. Fresh air entered her lungs. “I refuse to die…” she growled crawling from the well planted grave. She panted a while before trying to stand. Her body was shaken up and damaged badly. The scar on her back was still bleeding, refusing to stop. Sango's vision started to fade from all the blood loss. Drops of her rich blood stained the ground below her at every movement she attempted to make. “Still alive…” she murmured. Her memory focused on one person. Kohaku. `Kohaku…what happened to you back there…' Sango thought tears starting to drown the bottom of her eyes.
Sesshoumaru remained sitting in his usual pose. One leg up with a hand resting on it, while the other leg laid strait out. His long silver, white hair was blowing softly in the gentle wind. His golden eyes cast outward, with a usual expressionless and serious face. Jaken stood watching the great dog demon prince wondering what he could be thinking. He hadn't spoken a word since the battle. Sesshoumaru turned slightly at the smell of human blood. He ignored it but he felt the sudden urge to investigate it more. The smell of this human…the scent…so beautiful. And such a sweet scent for a human to inherit. The sweetest he'd smelled. The feeling…he felt great emotion and weak, faded power within this human. Such a sad presence…and yet so wonderful. The smell soon began to irritate the lord until he could stand it no longer. His curiosity and annoyance made him get to his feet. Jaken perked up at his master's sudden change of movement. “M'lord? Where are you going?!” Jaken called running after Sesshoumaru.
Sango struggled against fate as she winced and limped on her legs. Her arm ached as it weakly dragged her huge boomerang. Her black and red slayer outfit was blood-stained and torn revealing wounds. Some of her gorgeous shiny brown hair fell in front of her face and some had fallen from the ponytail it had once been in. Her smooth, soft milky white skin was covered in dirt. She felt her legs buckle and felt herself falling to the ground. She laid there for a moment. Helplessly. Until she got up again and tried to crawl. She had to find a place to rest. Then she would seek out Kohaku. She had to find him. And that man…Naraku? Yes. She had the feeling he was not a friend of hers either. Her determined expression softened. `I'll wait forever, Kohaku…I'll find you. And we promised. Promised that we would always be together…' Sango thought feeling the tears in her eyes once more. “I'm sorry…I'm so sorry…Kohaku…” she whimpered covering her face up. Her shoulders shook. She looked up to the rising sun greeting the morning. Her hand clenched her boomerang and she got up and tried once more to walk.
