I cry within my soul I want to be free

I cannot brake his hold his power suffocates me

He holds my heart waiting to crush it

I am not myself the night's too dark to see

For now I have no choice, death is not for me

I am his puppet created to cause ill will

I take part in the madness, leading us to hell

I must do his will but no loyalties abound

If I had the chance I would strike him down

Suffering is the song that lulls me to sleep

Rage is the blanket that keeps me warm at night

Sorrow is my pillow, for it never lacks tears

Oh how I wish that I could whip the slate clean

If I could take it all back they would be proud of me

I will die in the end knowing what it is like to be free
