Chapter 6
I'm going add music to this chapter. It's going to very, very short also. Enjoy. I do not own any of the songs that I use for this fanfic… unless, of course, I write it. Italics for the song, bold italics for someone singing the song.
Kagome P.O.V.
I awoke on the soft, cold ground of the Feudal Era. I looked around and saw that everything was covered with snow. Miles and miles of nothings. Had I not seen her walking towards me, I wouldn't have noticed a little girl. Her appearance matched he weather: white on white on white. Her extremely pale skin blended with her snow white hair and dress. She looked up at me with her dark eyes and asked in a soft voice,
“Will you help me find my sister?”
How could I say no to her?
“Of course I will?”
I don't know how long or far we walked in the silence, but it seemed like forever.
“Would you like to play a game?” she asked sweetly.
“Sure. Why not?”
“Let's play I Spy! You can go first.”
“Ok,” I looked around and said, “I spy with my little eye something that is white.”
“Is it the snow?”
I laughed and nodded.
“It's my turn! I spy with my little eye something that is red!”
Red? Where would she see red in all this snow? I rubbed the back of my neck and then saw it. There was red in the snow surrounding my feet. I looked behind me to see where it was coming from. It took me a while to realize that it was coming from me. I felt a sharp pain in my back and dropped to my knees.
“Please help me!” I begged the little girl. She just stared at me.
“Please!” I could tell I was losing blood quickly and things were getting blurrier. She smiled and said,
“I didn't find my sister, but I did find my friend. Thank you.”
The last thing I saw was her and Inuyasha holding hands and walking away.

I tried to scream but I couldn't find my voice because of the lump stuck in my throat. I choked on it until I could remember how to breathe. I sat there staring at the wall, paralyzed. Who? Why? What was that? Who was that girl? Why do I keep dying? I mean, really! I screamed into my pillow and pounded it with my fist. I finally came up for air. What time is it? I looked at the clock on my bedside table. 7:51 a.m. I went downstairs and made myself a bowl of cereal. When I was finished, I placed my bowl in the sink and picked up the note on the kitchen counter.
Dear Kagome,
We woke up early and left for breakfast. We didn't want to hear you wake up screaming again. No offense, though. We had just gotten so used to quiet nights and mornings. We weren't ready for them to end. We'll be back around 9:30.
Love,
Mom
She says no offense and yet, I'm still offended. I walked back upstairs and closed my door. I need music. I turned on my stereo and went to my bookshelf.
Tommy used to work on the docks
Unions been on strike, he's down on his luck
It's tough, so tough
I looked for my blue notebook. I know I'd had it last month. If only I remembered where I had put it.
Gina works the diner all day
Working for the man, she brings home her pay
For love, mmm, for love
The closet! I opened one of the small double doors and groaned. This was gonna take a while.
She says we gotta hold on to what we got
It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not
We got each other and that's a lot
For love, we'll give it a shot!
Oh! We're halfway there!
Oh! Oh! Livin' on a prayer!
Take my hand; we'll make it I swear!
Oh! Oh! Living on a prayer!
I bobbed my head in rhythm to the music.
“Isn't it a little too early for Bon Jovi?” the Sunday voice in my head asked.
“It's never too early for Bon Jovi!” I answered out loud.
Tommy's got his six string in hock
Now he's holding in what he used to make it talk
So tough, mmm, it's tough

Gina dreams of running away
When she cries in the night, Tommy whispers
"Baby it's okay, someday"

We gotta hold on to what we've got
It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not
We got each other and that's a lot
For love we'll give it a shot!

Oh, we're half way there!
Oh! Oh! Livin' on a prayer!
Take my hand; we'll make it I swear!
Oh! Oh! Livin' on a prayer!
Livin' on a prayer!
I rummaged through my closet while singing. Music always put me in a good mood.
We gotta hold on ready or not
You live for the fight when it's all that you've got!
I was up dancing now
Oh! We're halfway there!
Oh! Oh! Livin' on a prayer!
Take my hand and we'll make it I swear!
Oh! Oh! Livin' on a prayer!
Oh! We're halfway there!
Oh! Oh! Livin' on a prayer!
Take my hand and we'll make it I swear!
Oh! Oh! Livin' on a prayer!

Oh! We're half way there!
Oh! Oh! Livin' on a prayer!
Take my hand and we'll make it I swear!
Oh! Oh! Livin' on a prayer!
I love that song! Unfortunately, I'm not a very good dancer. I tripped over my own feet and fell in my closet. An avalanche of junk left unable to move. I had to move countless items that I couldn't remember how and when I got them. At least a few good things came out of being buried in a pile of junk. Number One: I found my MCR CD that a friend of mine burned for me with all my favorite songs of theirs. Number Two: I found what I had been looking for. My blue notebook. My dream journal.

I'm on a roll with writing chapters! This is my second one today!
