Sharing spaces

 

 

 

Kagome and Sango walked around looking for their cabin when someone bumped past them. Surprise, surprise it was the jerk and his dark haired friend.

 

“Sorry about that ladies, my friend is a little under the whether right now. Please accept my apology for him.” He smiled, “My name's Miroku, nice to meet you such beautiful girls. See you around?” he waved good bye and ran after his friend. “Inuyasha wait up!”

 

“Uh...of course, no damage done.” Sango smiled and waved at him. Kagome continued to glare at Inuyasha's back not saying anything to Miroku, just waving.

 

Kagome and Sango continued along and surprisingly enough trailing Miroku's and Inuyasha's trail. Kagome mentally sighed when Inuyasha and Miroku headed to a different direction than where they were heading. When they approached their cabin, the first thought that popped in their head was how big the cabin was, you could even call it a house. It was huge.

 

They entered the cabin and stood in awe. It was the most beautiful cabin they had ever laid their eyes on. Not only was it stunning, but it was decorated beautifully and massive. There were four bunk beds at each corner with bed sheets and comforters of different styles. There was a closet to the side and little decorations here and there. It looked more like a house type room than a camp cabin.

 

Kagome quickly ran into the bathroom and gaped. The entire bathroom was tiled pink with flower designs on them. It almost looks like you were in a room full of cherry blossom flowers. There were four showers in lined formation situated against the wall surrounded by `you can't see me but I can see you' type glass. There was a huge tub/Jacuzzi at the left corner and a sauna room at the right corner. There were two toilets and four sinks and a furry big pink carpet in the middle on the floor. The bathroom alone was about the same size as kagome's room.

 

Sango had gone to check out the other bathroom. It was exactly the same except it had urinals and was colored blue with petal design to accompany it.

 

“Why are there urinals in this bathroom?” Sango's eyebrows drew down in confusion.

 

“Maybe because this cabin is shared with guys and girls?” they heard someone say and turned to face the door. A peeved looking Inuyasha and a grinning Miroku stood there.

 

“What do you mean guys and girls cabin? I didn't sign up for a co-sex cabin” kagome frowned.

 

“Just what it sounds like idiot.” He plopped down on a bed and put his things beside it.

 

“Hey what are you doing? That's my bed!” kagome glared at him, “you may have taken my seat on the bus but you are not taking my bed either got that?” kagome tried pushing him off the bed.

 

“Get off me bitch,” he fought back as they struggled for the bed.

 

“You get off it jerk, we came here first so we get first dibs.” She pushed on his head with her legs. He was sprawled across the bed holding onto the top bunk bed.

 

Miroku and sango looked at each other then back at their fighting friends and sighed.

“So…what are the two of your names?” he scratched his head, “I guess I forgot to ask.”

 

“I'm Sango, she's Kagome, I guess we're roomies huh?” Sango smiled.

 

“I guess so.” He grinned moving closer to her. “Can I put your things away?”

 

“Sure, just set it down by the blue bed, I don't like sleeping on top.”

 

“Then I guess I'll be your bed mate, 'cause I love sleeping on top.” He winked at her. Sango blushed and turned away to hide it. Next thing she knew... some one was feeling on her ass.

 

She gave a light piercing shriek and knocked Miroku down. “You pervert, I knew there had to be a reason you were being so nice!” Sango fumed at the nearly unconscious Miroku.

“You fat ass cow, get off the damn bed, it's mine.” Inuyasha pulled the pillow towards him and situated himself on the bed.

 

“Jerk, let go, this is my bed, get your own.” Kagome reached for the pillow but missed. Inuyasha tossed the pillow in her face. He threw it so hard she fell off the bed.

 

“Ouch...” Kagome got up and rubbed her bum, “Jack ass that hurt.”

 

He laughed at her, “what ever bitch, lay off... this bed is mine.” He glared at her and rested his head on the pillow.

 

The exchange between Sango and Miroku hadn't even entered their heads.

 

Sango recollected herself and shook her head at their bickering.

 

“You know... it's a bunk bed and there are two beds.” She said. But they hadn't even heard her and continued cursing at each other. She took a deep breath. “IDIOTS! SHARE THE DAMN BUNK BED. THERE'S TWO FREAKING BED, SOMEONE SLEEP ON TOP, AND SOMEONE SLEEP AT THE BOTTOM.” She screamed. They both stopped cursing to look at her. She sighed with relief as they continued to look at her. She smiled and was about to continue.

 

“Who the fuck are you calling an idiot... idiot.” Inuyasha crossed his arms. Kagome took this opportunity to push him off. She screamed in happiness and flattened herself on the bed not ready to go anywhere as he fell face down on the floor.

 

“I win!” she exclaimed. Sango shook her head and Inuyasha frowned.

 

“Ahh...what happened, my head hurts like hell.” Miroku slowly rose rubbing his head. Then he remembered what had happened and looked at sango. She glared at him and turned away. He plopped down on her bed still rubbing his sore spot.

 

“Sorry about that sango, I didn't mean to grab it, it's just so irresistibly nice and round,” He smiled nervously, “so…I'm really sorry if that offended you Sango.” He waited for her reply but none came. He sighed and left the cabin.

 

Sango realized he'd left and sighed. I guess I could give him another chance, I mean his not a total pervert if his apologizing. She turned to the happy grinning kagome sticking her tongue out at Inuyasha.

 

“Whatever, I was gonna sleep at the top anyway” he shrugged and hopped on the top bunk above her. She yelped and squeezed her eyes shut. She had expected to hear him wince in pain from not being able to jump so high. She opened her eyes and marveled in awe at him on the top bunk. He felt her eyes on him and faced her.

He smirked noticing how her eyes roamed around his face and down his body.

 

“So, you like what you see?” he winked at her. Her eyes now focused on him with a glare.

 

“Psshh, you wish...you're not my type.” She looked away blushing at being caught staring.

 

“Yeah, you're not my type either... you're just not pretty enough.” he shrugged.

 

Kagome frowned and hit his bunk bed from underneath.

 

“Bitch”

 

“Shut up, my name's Kagome…stop calling me bitch you jerk.” She stuck out her tongue at him even though he couldn't see.

 

“Whatever...” he trailed off before adding, “bitch.”

 

“ARRRG, you're so annoying, and rude!” She stormed off into the bathroom. He watched her leave and smiled in satisfaction.

 

“Now that's a job well done” he relaxed in his bed with a fixed smile on his face.

 

“I wouldn't push her too far...she had a rough week.” Sango said.

 

“Like I give a shit how rough her week was; she needs to get off my back.” Inuyasha jumped down the bed and walked out the cabin. Kagome took that moment to come out the bathroom and sat on sango's bed.

 

“I hope our other room mates aren't jerks like Inuyasha.” Kagome prayed, “he's so self-absorbed.”

 

“But…you got to admit, he's fine, and you two seem to have a little something going on.” Sango winked at her.

 

Kagome made a pretend gag face. “I can safely say I will never have anything to do with that jerk.” Kagome put her hand in the air in a vowing motion.

 

“you say that now…but you'll never know.” Sango smiled at her. “so you having fun so far?”

 

“More or less, hasn't been all bad except for you know who.”

 

Kagome and Sango unpacked their things and officially claimed their beds. A girl with long black hair walked in, she had a small pony tail at the corner of her head and chocolate brown eyes. her taste in clothes were awesome and preppy. But she didn't look too much like a dumb blonde.

 

“Hi, I'm Rin, nice to meet you guys…guess I'll put my things down here.” she smiled as she introduced herself. Sango and Kagome smiled back warmly and introduced themselves, they already liked her. She put her things at the bottom bunk of the far right corner of the room across from Sango's.

 

Another girl walked in, she looked like a high maintenance kind of girl. She had straight beautiful orange/red hair that shone with luminosity. She was wearing high heeled Chanel shin length boots. Silver miniskirt, white belly shirt and a matching silver vest. She had a belly button ring too which complimented her outfit. She had hoop earrings, long silver necklace and fiery red lipstick. At first site, Kagome thought she wouldn't like her and looked at Sango. The way she had walked in had a certain air to it.

 

The girl smiled and walked towards the girls. “Hi, I'm Ayame, I guess you guys are my cabin mates.” She stuck out her hand and Kagome stared in shock as Sango shook it. Oops spoke too soon. She's not bad at all.

 

The three girls smiled, “I'm kagome.”

 

“I'm Sango, nice to meet you.”

 

“Rin and yes you are our cabin mate.”

 

“Awesome, you three look like really nice people.” she grinned, “I was scared I'd get some snobby girls for roommates. Ugh they are so annoying.” She laughed nervously when she noticed their blank stares. “Sorry, had to voice that.”

 

“Don't worry about it,” kagome smiled, “we are no where near snobby. Although... there's someone you might not get along with very well.”

 

At that moment Inuyasha walked in with Miroku and someone else with long white hair just like Inuyasha but he was way more handsome.

 

“Speak of the devil.” Kagome glared at him.

 

“Zip it bitch, I'm bout to talk.” Inuyasha said coming up to them. He settled himself on a bed and pointed to his new friend. “This is my older brother Sesshomaru, Sesshomaru this is Sango, The bitch…”

 

“Hey! It's kagome you ass,” kagome hit him on the shoulder.

 

“Whatever, uhh...” he paused seeing Rin and Ayame, “who the hell are these?”

 

“So rude,” Rin glared at him, “I'm Rin, nice to meet you.” she shook Sesshomaru's hand with a smile.

 

“I'm Ayame, nice to meet you too Sesshomaru.” She shook his hand too with a smile.

 

“Ok that's it, pay up Miroku, I introduced him.” Inuyasha got up and walked to his and kagome's bunk bed flopping down on her bed.

 

“Get off my bed Jerk!” kagome yelled at him instantly going to shove him off.

 

“Bite me! Bitch.” He stuck his tongue out at her.

 

“Ugh, you're so annoying.” She said fed up throwing her hands in the air giving up.

 

Inuyasha smiled and watched her return to Sango's bed and relaxed into the bed.

 

The rest of the group watched with raised eyebrows at how childish they were.

 

“Anyway...getting back to what really matters,” Sango smiled at Sesshomaru, “so are you two like blood related?”

 

“Thank god we're not, I mean... look at him.” Sesshomaru beckoned towards Inuyasha.

 

Kagome laughed, “Yeah, it's obvious who got the good looks in the family,” everyone laughed except for Inuyasha who scowled peeved at Kagome.

 

“Obviously... we have the same dad, but different moms.” Sesshomaru smiled. Inuyasha made a gag noise but everyone ignored him. He glared at them. Look at them, giving the jerk attention like he's some star. He always has to hog all the girls with his charming good looks. And look at all the idiots giving him the attention. He glared at kagome, and her... she's soooooo annoying. What exactly she's done to piss me off I don't know but I'll find something.

 

He noticed Miroku coming towards him and shifted his attention to him. “so, when am I getting my bill for introducing him, I won the bet.” He said not looking at him.

 

Miroku sighed, “Technically...” he trailed on, inuyasha's head snapped to him waiting for him to continue, “you didn't introduce him to everyone since you didn't introduce him to Rin and Ayame.” Miroku scratched his head at his raised eyebrow.

 

“figures...cheap bastard.” Inuyasha turned back to the girls where they ogled over Sesshomaru. Miroku followed his stare and sat next to him.

 

“I envy him, he gets the girls all to himself.” Miroku sighed shaking his head.

 

“let him have em,” Inuyasha yawned, “I don't need them, I have Kikyo all to myself.”

 

“kikyo again? When are you gonna dump that girl? You know she cheats on you,” Inuyasha simply shrugged, “and…she's a fucking slut.” Inuyasha raised a brow at him. “you know it's true, she's fucked at least the whole member of the football team, and that was while she was dating you.”

 

“well...I've fucked at least the whole cheerleading team…” Inuyasha smirked.

 

“yeah but you did it out of revenge... she did it because she's a hoe.” Inuyasha shrugged again.

 

“who cares... she's my hoe so an-”

 

“Hello everyone my name's Serena, so sorry I'm late.” A girl in about her early twenties barged through the door interrupting Inuyasha. The group stared at her for a moment. She had extremely long blonde hair in two pig tails, front bangs that reached her eyes and was wearing one of the camp counselor uniforms. Light blue shirt, navy blue mini skirt and black heels. Technically the uniform is light blue top, navy blue bottom and black shoes. Doesn't matter what you wear as long as you had that colour scheme. “Now...introduce your selves please with your age so I know I'm in the right cabin.”

 

“I'm Kagome, 16,” she smiled.

 

“Sango, 17,”

 

“Rin, 16,”

 

“Ayame, 16,”

 

“Sesshomaru, 18,”

 

“Miroku here, 17” he put up his hand to get her attention sending a wink her way. She disregarded it and faced Inuyasha. Miroku bowed in defeat.

 

“Inuyasha 17... took you long enough to get here.” he said closing his eyes.

 

“well...I'm sorry I'm late and I do have the right cabin.” She gave him a `what's your point' look before turning towards the others. “I'm sure you already know you'll be sharing the Co-sex cabins. The boys' cabin isn't completed yet and since you two groups would have been paired off anyways we put the girls in here too.”

 

“but... why didn't yo-”

 

“not done yet...” sango was cut off. “I'm sure you've all introduced yourselves to each other and you each have a map. There will be a bus arriving every morning on Saturday to take you guys to the mall few miles from here to buy supplies. There are many sports competitions and talent contests on the island for you to apply yourselves to.” She paused and looked around making sure she had everyone's attention. Inuyasha still had his eyes closed. Kagome put her hand up to speak so she doesn't get cut off again, “before you ask what we'll be doing, I'll tell you. We'll be participating in a lot of the sports competition every two weeks that I'll train you for with every day activity that we'll do. The winner receives prizes and metals of achievements for each competition. There will be three overall competition...each on different and challenging sports. The last day before you depart from camp, a party will be throne for everyone as a send off.”

 

“Exactly wha-,” Inuyasha started.

 

“Last but not least...” she turned to him with a shameful look he shrugged and ignored. “Do not wander around the island because people do own houses on this island. Don't trespass on people's properties and there are parties thrown often by those people and sometimes they invite some campers from camps. You are only allowed to go to parties on Saturdays and Sundays and will be brought back at 12:00 two hours after curfew. The weekends are resting days from the week's activities.” she stopped and looked at their faces; most of them were trying to remember everything she had said. She expected to be blasted with questions but none came. “Hello...guys, I'm done, ask away.”

 

“Finally,” Inuyasha snorted.

 

“Ignore him,” kagome said, “I thought this entire island was the camp ground. How come people live here?”

 

“Well some rich folks bought parts of the island so... this camp is only about one third of the island. Next.”

 

“umm...do we always get invited to parties?” Ayame raised her hand.

 

“It all depends on if you know the people throwing the party. Some of the kids in camp come from the rich homes so...if you know some of them, chances are you'll be able to party.”

 

Everyone considered what she had said and was silent. She took it as a sign that they had no more questions.

 

“Well if that's all the questions you have. Since tomorrow is Sunday, camp activities begin on the day after tomorrow. Use tomorrow as a time to get to know each other and have fun with friends that aren't in the same cabin as you. know the surrounding. The time is 9:50pm right now; everyone is expected to be in bed by 10:00pm and lights out.” She smiled at their serious faces. “guys, relax, I'm not gonna bite your heads off. I'm not a drill sergeant type of counselor, we'll have lots of fun. And no making babies during the night.” She hollered. The girls blushed and the guys smirked.

 

“well, guess I'll see you guys tomorrow morning.” Serena smiled. “Sweet dreams you guys.” She waved before heading out the door.

 

There was an awkward silence for a while before Miroku broke it. “Shit, I forgot to ask her where we'll be eating.” He cursed.

 

The girls laughed, “Always thinking about the stomach huh?” Ayame joked and headed for a free bed.

 

Rin headed for the same bed only to have Ayame take the bed she wanted. “aww...I like that design and I hate sleeping at the top.” She sulked.

 

Ayame mimicked her sulking face still not moving from the bed.

 

“Rin, you can share a bunk bed with me, I'll sleep at the top.” Sesshomaru offered and instantly Rin had moved to where he stood. She smiled gracefully at him receiving a toothy grin in return before turning to Ayame mouthing “thank you” at her. Ayame rolled her eyes at her. She went into the bathroom and undressed into her sleeping attire.

 

Kagome, Rin and Sango did the same. When sango headed to her bed Miroku was already on the top bunk drooling at her. She was wearing a belly shirt with no bra and short shorts.

 

“close your mouth pig...you may just catch a fly.” She drifted into her bed and closed her eyes.

 

“Still mad at me?” he asked but received no answer. He sighed “I'm sorry Sango I really am, I have a hard time controlling myself around sexy girls.” But she still ignored him. He sighed for the thousandth time that day and rested his head on his pillow to slowly drift to sleep.

 

“good night everyone” sango said softly, “sweet dreams Miroku.”

 

Miroku smiled “if it'll be about you then I'm sure it'll be sweet. Good night Sango”

 

Kagome said good night to everyone also and walked towards her bunk bed. She noticed Inuyasha had fallen asleep in her bed while Serena was giving her speech. She glared at him for a while but her eyes softened on him as she watched him sleep. He looks so adorable, and carefree. Too bad that's not how he really is. She shook him trying to wake him up.

 

She whispered, “Inuyasha! Inuyasha... wake up.” he turned his head to face her but didn't wake up. She shook him once more and his hand shifted and landed on her shoulder.

 

“Hold me, please.” She heard him whisper in his sleep. “Kagome...”

 

Her heart skipped a beat, could he be dreaming about me? But...that's impossible.

 

“Kagome... you bitch... get out of my dream.” She heard him say before turning away from her and snuggling into the pillow. She sighed and climbed on the top bunk. He's going to regret that in the morning. But...I guess I could let him sleep on my bed tonight.

 

 

She closed her eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep. “Good night Inuyasha,” she whispered.

Inuyasha's ears flickered and he stirred away. He noticed kagome's form climbing the ladder towards the top bunk and smiled. She was a sleeveless loose belly shirt and long pajama matching pants. I win.

 

He closed his eyes to go back to sleep when he heard kagome whisper a good night to him. He half wanted to say it back but he was afraid someone might hear him so he decided against it.

 

Good night Kagome, he slowly drifted off to sleep to have sweet dreams.
