"WHAT!!" exclaimed both Keiko and Yusuke? It was so fun to tease them.

"So ill see you at the mall tomorrow, bye." And with that I started to climb the steps up to the shrine.

Chapter 8: appearance and fashion change

Some place at the ruins of the forbidden lands~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"At last, I have found it. The infinite power of darkness!" sinister laughter rang through the forbidden lands.

"Yes, my Lord. Who would have thought the legend is true"

"Then you are an insolent one. The legend had always been true. The dust of the time had it buried deep within the forgotten memories of the people.

"Yes, my Lord."

"Inform the others, our revenge will begin soon…"

"Yes." With that, the faithful servants of the dark were bornt.

Back to Kagome at her house~~~~~~~~~~~``

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"

^What…. What happened!? ^

`This…. KIMIKO! WHAT the heck happened!' mirror reflection of Kagome holding a streak of blue hair up.

^Oh, What's there to be surprised of? Its just hair. ^

`But…. Its blue!'

^SO! I think it's nice! I was bornt with it. And there isn't only the color blue appearing…. ^

`WHAT! There are more colors?'

^ Not…. really. Only red and blue. ^

`ONLY! You think the whole head, red and blue is NOT weird!?'

^ What you talking about? The red and blue are only streaks through the black. They represent stronger elemental powers that I posses. Your head will be MAINLY black, so dun worry. Besides, your body is returning to mi soon… ^

`I know, I know. No need to remind mi.'

^But you always tend to forget….^

Kagome went into the showers and emerged wearing a black tank top and white mini denim skirt. She putted her hair back into a high ponytail with a black ribbon. Finished with high heel boots. Taking the credit card she left for the mall. (Her family is very rich in this fic but lived in the shrine because of ancestral reasons.)

During the way to the mall~~~~~~~~~~~

"Hi Hiei!" Kagome waved to a tree.

"How did you noe im there? I was covering my aura."

"No idea? I just knew you were there." She said sheepishly and dragged him to the mall with her. Surprisingly, Hiei did not object, instead he carried her bridal style to the mall.

At the mall~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The rest were already there. There were an additional two girls.

"Hey guys!" Kagome called from behind them after being put down by Hiei. They turned and were surprised to see her behind them.

"Where…. How did you get behind us?" stuttered Yusuke.

"He picked mi up" pointing a finger to Hiei, before she started talking with Keiko.

"Who are they?"

"Oh, they are Yukina and Shizuru, she's Kuwabara sister."

"Really, you dun look like one another…."

"Im glad for that, girl"

"I bet!"

"That's mean Shizuru Chan."

"Dun takes it to heart, Yukina Chan."

"You are a youkai too…. you remind mi of…."

"Remind you of what? Kagome Chan?"

"Oh nothing…." Kagome said after glancing at Hiei for while.

This did not escape the eye of Botan, she decided to tease Kagome.

"Hey, Kagome, why are you looking at Hiei?"

"Huh?" feigned ignorance.

"Oh, dun act dumb. You drag him everywhere in school, he carried you here and just now you looked at him."

"Yeah. What's that about?" Keiko joined in after hearing the drift Botan was getting to. The rest were looking at her intently awaiting her answer. Kurama held in his breath, waiting for her answer.

"Oh that. I was just wondering why is Hiei always wearing black…."

"She got a point." Kurama pointed out, while Hiei glared at anyone who turned to look at him.

"Hn"

"No need to get offensive." Joked Yusuke.

"Yeah, lets go shopping!" latching onto Hiei once again dragging him into a clothes store. The girls got her point, breaking the group into two promising to meet up later. They started choosing clothes for the guys. The guys just stood there with big sweat drops, all with one thought except Kuwabara. ` What have we gotten ourselves into, coming shopping with the girls.'

With Hiei, Kagome, Keiko and yusuke~~~~~~~~~~

"So Hiei? You related to Yukina?"

"…. What makes you say that?"

"Slight resemblances. So you related?"

"Hn, she's my sister."

"Ok. Here try this on." Placing the clothes in his arms and shoving him into the changing room. He was shortly followed by Yusuke who went into the next changing room.

Both girls shot each other a look and stifled a giggle.

"So what did you get for Yus kun?"

"You'll see."

"So how…. Did you get him to listen to you?"

"What cha mean?"

"You dun noe?"

"Noe what?"

"Lets just say, Hiei is not one to be easygoing with…."

"Huh?"

"Ok ok. So you getting any clothes?"

"Will I EVER. Im changing my wardrobe. And you should change your style too."

"Really?"

"Ya! That will be fun and think you are smart and cool."

"Well…. ok. But you have to help mi."

"Ok, Im new too."

`I just CAN'T wait.'

Moments later the boys emerged~~~~~~~~ attracting quite a lot of stares~~~~~~

"Wow! You sure look good!" giggled Kagome while Keiko just stared dumbstruck.

"Right, Keiko?" waving a hand in front of her.

"Huh…. ya…. yeah. You should wear those more often." Turning away with a tint of pink.

Both guys were wearing tight fitting shirts that showed off their muscles and ads nicely. Yusuke was wearing a black muscle shirt with fishnet type see through for the sleeves. Hiei was wearing a navy blue with red as lining on the sleeves. They looked hot.

"GREAT! Here." Giving Hiei yet another set of clothes to try on. Keiko was also shoving Yusuke back into the changing room with another set of clothes.

Hiei is now wearing an oversized black baggy t-shirt. Completed with blue jeans and two red wristbands on his left arm. He looked so adorable standing there. So Kagome gave him a hug. Yusuke had smoothed his hair down and was wearing a cap turned to the back. An oversize white t-shirt with faded jeans. One black wristband on his right elbow.

"Both of you look great!" gasped Keiko.

"Yeah! Here this is the last one. After paying for them look us up at the other clothes store, ok?" handing Yusuke the credit card and Hiei a pink t-shirt.

Hiei glared at her.

"What? Maybe it suits you?"

"No"

"Please?"

"…. No"

"Oh fine! Here and go" taking a black with red one to replace the pink shirt and shoved him into the changing room.

"Hn!" can be heard from inside the changing room.

Yusuke was threatened by a teary Keiko to wear a pink shirt. After many threats, he relented and took the shirt.

Grumbling could be heard from inside. The girls highfived each other and left for the next store.

At the store, SPICY~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Kagome POV

"Come on Keiko" pushing her inside since she was reluctant to step in.

"I…. I dun noe, Kagome the clothes here looks…."

"Looks COOL, I noe. Come on!"

"But…."

"No buts, lets have fun and give the boys a surprise. You can always dun buy if you dun like them."

"Ok."

We started looking through the racks of clothes. They all look cool and hot. I dun noe why the sudden change to like these types of clothes. So I came to a conclusion, must be because of Kimiko.

^ You got that right gal. Since we have a wonderful body so why not show it off? ^

`You sure is full of yourself….'

^ Of course, I live confidently for each and everyday of my life. ^

`So…. You are one happy gal?'

^…. Not really. I do experience sad things…. ^

`Like what?'

^ Dun want to say…. ^ must be very sad since she suddenly became so depressed.

Well, better get into the changing room, Keiko is inside already.

After changing, outside the changing room~~~~~~~~~~~

I emerged from the changing room and saw that Keiko is not out yet. I looked at my reflection in the mirror. Satisfied with the outfits, I continued my search through the racks.

Keiko POV

This is so embarrassing; I blushed as I went out of the changing room. I saw that Kagome had already changed and was looking through the racks for new sets of clothes. She looks great. Definitely can catch the eye of any guy.

She had changed into a navy blue cire tube top with sea blue metallic band, paired up with black slinky knit slit skirt. She had also let down her hair. Now did I then noticed, she had a couple of blue streaked hair weaved through her raven hair. All in all very hot.

She saw mi and commented that I looked good. I blushed even redder. I had on a baby blue sleeveless slasher top. Completed with a wet- look close shave pants. She tossed mi a couple more clothes and we went in to try them on.

Next, Kagome had on a black wet- look wrap strap halter-top, with wet- look slash pants. While I had on a 2 pcs wet lace up halter-top and micromini skirt set with rhinestone logo. She commented that I looked awesomely sweet tasting.

We giggled, after admiring the new clothes on us. We proceeded to get our third set of clothes.

This time round, I came out first. I had on black pleather lace up jacket, with white circle skirt. When Kagome came out I could feel all eyes in the shop turn to her. She had on a black wet- look lace up napkin top, completed with white wet- look side lace shorts. If I looked sweet tasting just now, she looks delicious, totally hot.

We kept on this outfit and paid the rest. We decided we would not like to be interrupted by the boys so I called Yusuke to tell him; they are on their own. We went to look for shoes.

A shop called TRANSPASSING~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Still Keiko POV

I could feel people staring at us, Kagome doesn't seems to mind and continued talking to mi. We entered the shoe store and found all sorts of shoes waiting for us to try on. We wasted no time in getting started trying on the first pair of shoes that have caught our eye.

In the end, Kagome had on a E- 601- Queen with large silver rivets adorning the two under strap, upper and the double ankle strap which are all connected with a rivet detailed strap, 6 inch stiletto heels with 2 inch platform. And I had on a E-711- Jungle with platform calf boots with lace upfront and inside zipper, 7 spike high heels with 3 base.

Next the accessories shop~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Kagome recommended mi some hats. We had fun trying on all types of hats. Finally, we settled on black wool cabbie hat. Kagome got a necklace to go with it, the necklace was a pendent with a blood red background with a fancy silver cross in it, at the back of the pendant was a golden colored k, the sides of the pendent was rimed with silver carvings, very ancient looking. I bought ruby earrings.

Next, we went for manicure and pedicure. I was looking through the design when kagome shrieked.

"WHAT! What happened?"

"Oh…. oh nothing. I just saw a lizard run pass." She explained while looking at her hands.

` What's wrong with her hands?'

I went closer and saw that her fingernails had grown longer, crystal like beads were encrusted onto her fingernails. (Like those on ayumi hamasaki's fingernails, how I love her nails.) Making her fingers look so slender and elegant.

"H…. how did that happen?" I was sure a moment ago outside the shop, her nails were not that long and they were plain.

"Well…. Keiko…. U promise not to tell anyone?"

"Ok. Come on lets get my nails done."

Kagome POV

I told Keiko about mi changing to Kimiko and she took it easy. Im glad, now I got someone to cover mi when any more things change. It was a shock to mi when I felt a warm glow on my fingertips and when I looked; I saw crystal beads encrusted onto my fingernails.

^ Well, im so happy my nails are back. Yours are so dull^

` Anymore changes I should notice?'

^Hmm…. Your eyes color but they should be changing last. ^

`Ok. Anymore?'

^ Not that I can think of at this moment…. Try not to be SO surprised to find anything changing. ^

`Ill try' I said sarcastically.

I sat besides Keiko to wait for her to finish doing her nails. She's having them done up with three-color paints. White at the lower end, then slightly sky-blue and the rest blue. She's having her toes in violent, the one with glitter. I looked at my toes wondering how they looked like now.

My toenails were slightly longer and violent with swirling pink. They looked nice.

Back to Kurama, Botan, Yukina, Shizuru and Kuwabara.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Botan's POV

I dragged Kurama into a shop before he could go after Kagome. He looked not very happy even though he din't show it.

"So, Kurama you like Kagome?"

"Yeah"

"How about Youko?"

"He loves her, can't wait to take her for a mate."

"So all of you agreed on her?" I was very surprised, from what I know, the spirits dun always agree on the same thing. Kagome must be very special.

"Ya, we all agreed on her…. What are you trying to do?"

"Oh nothing. Let's shop."

"Yeah right…." Kurama said while looking at mi with an inquisitive look.

I blindly grabbed a load of clothes and shoved him into the changing room.

After a while, he came up wearing a dull green colored Chinese styled attire. The green brought the emerald out of his eyes. He looked even more handsome. I insisted that he should take this attire. Kuwabara was trying out the same outfit seeing that it fitted Kurama nicely. It clashed horribly with his hair. Shizuru shoved a camouflage green sweatshirt and pants to him. At least he looks better now.

Kurama also bought an Orange Country choppers dagger black hoodie, which Yukina chose, and a pair of denim hipster pants to go with it.

I bought a serious pink star Grommet black colored Hoodie; Yukina bought a necklace with a ruby teardrop. Shizuru bought a lace tie- top and some blue jeans.

We had fun tormenting Kuwabara, I wonder how are the others doing.

Kurama POV

# Hey! They went that way, where are you going? #

`Im going this way.'

# It's the WRONG WAY! #

`No it's the correct way to clear your head.'

# What? There's nothing wrong with my head! #

`Well, have you wondered how her eyes changed color yesterday, and that voice is not hers.'

#…. Who cares? Her eyes are more enticing that way and her voice is so much sweeter. #

` Exactly! `

# Your point is…. #

` We are failing to think here because of your obsession with her'

# You SAYING that I should just back out and let Hiei get her?! #

`No. All im saying is that we take a day off to clear our mind.'

#…. IF HIEI GETS HER…. ILL KILL YOU MYSELF!!!!!#

`Fine'

Back to the mall with Keiko and Kagome.

Kagome POV

"You should do your hair."

"What are you suggesting?"

"How about some black streaks to your brown hair?"

"Sounds okay to mi, but u think the school will allow?"

"Who cares, its not affecting the brain from thinking."

I picked a magazine to read while Keiko gets her hair done. The hairdresser is trying to get mi on a date. Rejected. He's already the tenth one from the first store to here. Men are so lustful creatures, dun even know you and they are already trying to hit on you.

^ What do you think. If they can be trusted, the sky will fall. ^

` You have something against guys?'

^Hn. No, I have something against trust…. ^

`Hiei did rub it off you, din't he.'

^Hn, what you mean? ^

` I mean your business with the hn, hn.'

^ Ya, I suppose. He is kinda cute. ^

`….'

^ What? ^

`Nothing. Look. Keiko's done.'

^ Dun ignore mi! ^

"Keiko, you look great! Let's go surprise the others!" I said while holding her hair up to see.

"Thanks, Kagome. You think Yusuke will like it?"

"Sure thing, if he dun, ill beat him till he loves it."

*Giggled *

"Oh look. There they are."

"Hey, guys!" I shouted as we approached them.

`Man their faces look so comical, should have brought the camera.'

"Kag is that you?"

"Yeah, who else?" He was still staring at mi. So I decided to shove Keiko to him. It took him a moment to register that he was holding Keiko in that outfit and he blushed like no tomorrow. I couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"Yus kun, dun tell mi you forgot about us so soon?"

"W…what the…. ho…. how?"

Both of us laughed at their expression. It was hilarious.

"You are right, Kagome. We sure surprised them. I wonder what will it be like at school."

"They will be stumped"

Botan was the first one to recover and exclaimed how great we looked. We exchange stories of what happened the past few hours, while walking to a restaurant to eat dinner.

Hiei POV

She changed out of her clothes.

{Ya, aren't you glad, these clothes show more of her figure.}

…

{You noe what I mean. She looks absolutely delicious}

Im disgusted, you can't be mi.

{Well, I am! So too bad! }

Hn

She does look nice in those outfits, they show her figure more clearly and…. What the hell my I thinking about.

{You are thinking of her fair soft skin against yours and her soft pink lips on yours}

SHUT UP!

{Fine! But it's true! }

She looks so tempting there.

Kurama POV

I could feel Youko trying to breakout to claim her.

#Oh kami! She looks so tasteful there. Let mi out! I want to taste her! # He pouted.

[She got a good figure and check out her hands, they look so elegant.]

` Great to have two perverts in the house'

# Watch what cha saying, im no pervert. I just love beautiful things and she's one of them. #

[Im with Youko]

I could feel Youko smirk at that comment. But they are right; she looks so beautiful, sexy in a way with that revealing outfit.

Yusuke POV

Wow! I din't know Kagome has such nice legs. WHAT THE HELL MY I THINKING. YUSUKE URAMESHI, SHE'S YOUR COUSIN. Keiko looks great too. Kagome must have helped her change her looks. She looks so punkish in a way in those outfits.

Kagome POV

I stopped talking with the girls and joined Hiei at the back.

"So what did you do while we are gone?"

"Arcade"

"Oh, doesn't your ears hurt?"

"Hn, ringing"

I smiled gently and rubbed his ears soothingly.

"Does that helps?"

"Hn…. Thanks"

"Your welcome!" I said and hugged him before running off to talk with Kurama.

` She hugged mi…. again.

With that Hiei smiled one true smile.

I think I would make it into a Hiei/ kagome/ Kurama fanfics since there are hardly any out there.
