"We dun noe the effects of the change. Maybe she forgot all of us? It is possible for her to forget everything that happened when she's still Kagome."

Everyone was deep in thought as they headed for south.

A castle in the shadows~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"My Lord, do you think the lady will accept the invitation?"

"We shall see, she will be sure to find the proposal tempting."

"Yes, my lord. Shall I gather the rest?"

"Yes, send them here."

" As you wish." With that the servant disappeared into the shadows.

Chapter 12: journey to the south

Kimiko POV

And here I was traveling with the demon lord of the West. Its funny to think that all feared him when I can just kill him so easily. Oh look, there's a village up ahead.

"The village looks so BORING! Let's do something to make it more interesting!"

"Like what, Kimiko san?"

"Like this" I raised my hand pointing to a river near the village. I called forth my power to control water. I focused my power on the flowing water.

Sesshoumaru POV

What is she doing? She stopped, with hand outstretched towards a river, I could faintly sense her power growing and the next moment, from the flowing water, a dragon like figure appeared. With another wave of her hand towards the village. From the body of the water dragon shot out spikes of ice. Spikes of ice embedded itself to the ground of the village. Blue light shined and the villagers were frozen to the ground. With a howl, water jets shot out from its body and destroyed the village and its occupants.

I was surprised that she did that even though I din't show it. Jakken was staring with bugged eyes. She was smiling, with another wave of her hand; the water dragon came towards us. As it neared us, it started to change. It changed into that of a woman with elfish ears pierced with hoop rings and long silky hair, a red diamond mark on her right cheek, webbed hands with a pair of fins on her arm, greenish scales covered her breasts, from her hip down was her tail with scales. She was transparent blue. She eeked a sound as she glided around Kimiko. She looked at us from behind Kimiko's shoulder and eeked again.

Kimiko patted her on her head and introduced us. She eeked at us again and then bowed to Kimiko and disappeared into thin air.

"What was that." My curiosity getting the better of mi.

"My friend, but to others she is my servant."

Rin clutched onto my leg and cried.

"What's wrong with you?" Kimiko asked. Rin scooted further away from her.

"W.why did you destroy the village?" she sniffed out, looking at Kimiko straight in the eye.

"THAT'S what you are crying about?" she asked incredulously.

"You are not Kagome, she will never do that, and you are a killer!"

I agreed with Rin, kagome will never do that. Unexpectedly, she burst into laughter.

"Since…. SINCE when did I say I am Kagome, I only said that I WAS once Kagome. Im Kimiko, a TOTALLY different person. And besides, if I dun kill them." Pointing to the village that was once there.

"They WILL still die, it's a matter of time. They are only ningens. Besides I was bored."

I was about to ask her to leave the group when she said.

"If…. you dun like what happened…. then…." she turned to the village, closed her eyes, her whole body glowed as she chanted something.

"Time that had passed, by my power be brought back once more."

In her hand, a ball of light formed. The light floated towards the ruins, it then flashed bright. When I opened my eyes again, I was shocked at what I saw. I allowed my eyes to widen a bit.

In the once destroyed village stood the village as it was before it was destroyed. I looked over at Kimiko. She has stopped glowing.

" So…. how is it?"

"How did you do that?" Rin asked.

"Easy because I can." She smirked at us before continuing to walk forward to the south. What had happened? Is she really Kagome?

"I am! How many times do you need mi to tell you!"

"I stared at her.

"What, you were thinking out loud."

"This Sesshoumaru did no such thing."

"Yeah, and I am a bumblebee."

Rin laughed at that comment and skipped up to Kimiko to walk beside her. It was near nightfall, I decided we should make camp. I left to hunt something for dinner. Rin offered Kimiko some food but she declined, saying she's not hungry. I snorted at that comment; she just stared at mi for a moment before looking at an object on her hand.

She was so intend at studying whatever that object was, she unconsciously played with the red six-pointed star pendent on her necklace. I can sense slight magic in that necklace, and that object she is holding. She caught mi looking and leapt up to a tree.

Kimiko POV

Being Kagome in the ningenkai had definitely made mi soft. I actually restored the village for Rin, a ningen girl. I was sitting on the ground looking at the crystal quartz Yume had given mi. I caught Sesshoumaru looking; I spared him a glance and leapt up into a tree. I resumed studying the object, reluctant to activate it.

This was a carrier stone. It carries anything, with or without a solid body. It can carries messages or curses, souls or anything.

With much hesitation, I decided to activate it, to get over it. Using the sharp edge of the crystal quartz, I stabbed my palm, letting my blood run down the sides. I felt no pain, I had endured even more pain than this, and this pain is nothing. After soaking the crystal quartz with my blood, it started to blink red, then yellow, and in the end blue. Indicating a message was carried in this crystal quartz.

Sesshoumaru POV

I smell blood, quite an amount. I followed the scent and found it was coming from Kimiko. I looked up the tree, and saw that she had stabbed herself with the object she was holding. She did not move to stop the bleeding; she showed no signs of pain. I looked on, as the object blinked red, then yellow and then resting on blue. Kimiko was looking intently into the object, sparing no attention to the outside world, as her blood dripped down from high above the tree.

Kimiko POV

A message. I looked into the crystal as the message was relayed to mi. I agree the proposal he gave was very tempting, very fun if to commerce it. I was contemplating whether to accept or not when I was brought back to reality by a scream.

"What?" I said falling down the tree but I back flipped and landed on my feet.

"KIMIKO ONNE SAN! You are BLEEDING!" cried a hysterical Rin.

I was quite amused by her worry to something so insignificant.

"Wrap your wound." a monotone less voice said.

"No need." Before Rin can object to my answer.

I placed my uninjured hand over the injured one, glowing pink. The wound disappeared, not even a scar. With that I leapt up back to the tree and ponder on the proposal, while Sesshoumaru sat under the tree beside mine and Rin on his lap sleeping. To think a youkai allowing a ningen near him. I went into silent mirth.

The next morning with Yu Yu gang~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Inuyasha was annoying everyone by hurrying everyone to look for shards. Hiei was fidgeting about the group slowness. He informed Kurama that he's going forward and left.

"Where did shrimp go?"

"He went forward ahead of us."

"WHAT, he better not be after the jewel shards."

Everyone looked at him with disbelief, disbelief that he could be so stupid to see that Hiei was anxious about Kagome and not the jewel shards.

"He's complaining about the slowness of the group to look for Kagome, so he went forward." Kurama took the role to explain to the thick- headed hanyou.

"Feh! Who cares about the wench, we got kikyo."

"SHUT THE HELL UP! WE want real people not some DIRT BAG!"

"WHO YOU CALLING A DIRT BAG?"

"HER, WHO ELSE?"

And they are at it again, after exchanging moves; Yusuke will blast him with spirit gun to the trees, ending the fight.

Hiei POV

I slightly scented her scent along with others. Scorched marks on the grass, indicating that someone had a build a fire here. A slight extinguished smell was around the area, which means they are not far. I found Kagome's scent the strongest on that tree. I leapt up and found the scent that I had missed so much. I also smelt blood, lots of it. I growled and made my way towards south.

Kagome POV

"Ne, Sesshoumaru, its so BORING."

"What you want me to do" I could see he was getting annoyed. I have been bugging him since we woke up.

"Let's do something interesting…its SO BORING! I can't believe you are so BORING!"

"Im not boring." He growled out through clutched teeth.

"Oh ya! THAN, why am I BORED?"

"Im going to die of bored ness, DO SOMETHING"

"Than die…."

"WHAT! That was*sniff *MEAN! You big *sniff * MEANIE!" I faked a sob. I could feel him trying not to roll his eyes.

"Fine! What do you want?"

`Yes! I got him!'

"Well…." I said while latching onto his arm. He tried to push mi away, but I clutched on tighter until he gave up.

"Well what?" trying very hard not to notice that someone was latching on his arm.

"YOU can LET mi torture HIM," I said while pointing at Jakken.

Sesshoumaru glared at him, while he shook his head so hard I thought it's going to break off.

"Fine, take him. Now unhand mi."

"YEAH! Thanks!" and I kissed him on the cheek. He looked so annoyed. Man, I love to play with him, so cute.

"Jakken" I said sweetly at him. The toad paled, and started to run away. With a lift of my finger I had the wind hurl him back in front of mi. Rin was beside mi watching in anticipation to what I am going to do next. Sesshoumaru was behind us by the tree, I noe he was also looking on with amusement.

I chanted a spell and Jakken bloomed into a flower garden. All sorts of flowers bloomed out of him, covering his eyes and ears. With every fall, flowers petals escaped from his body, in the next few moments, he showered the ground with colorful petals. Rin was jumping around him. Pulling at his flowers.

I turned to see that Sesshoumaru was trying not to laugh at the sight. A ball of water formed on top of Jakken, with a wave, the water came gushing down. The flowers were washed off, with a snap of my fingers he changed to pink color.

Rin was on the ground laughing, I smirked. I snapped again, and he changed to orange with polka dots. Rin is now rolling on the ground. I chuckled at the sight Jakken made, Sesshoumaru was smirking. Jakken has already fainted. So I decided to spare him, with another snap, he changed to black. And I kicked him awake; he frantically scooted away from mi.

Sesshoumaru POV

It has been a while since she came. I dun care who she was. She's Kimiko and her tricks prove to be that she's no longer or never was Kagome. I grew closer to her, even if I will never admit. She's strong from what I could see from her destroying the village. If that was a joke, I dun want to noe the damage that will be caused if she's serious.

She's just like a kitsune, playful and curious. Sly and clever.

"Why thank you! You know you are more right than you know." She read my mind again; I must remember to create a barrier next time.

"What do you mean?"

"Oh well, you will see, if I ever get injured so badly that I exhausted most of my power."

"That's not answering the question."

"I noe!" she smiled cheerfully at mi. How irritating but I tolerated her to god knows what reason.

"We are entering the south, we will reach the house of the lord of the south soon. You should wear something less like a whore."

"WHAT! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SAID THAT!"

I eyed her and gestured to her clothes. She glared right back and huffed off to a pond.

I followed her, water encircled her and then she stepped out wearing what seemed to be a very short pants and a cloth covering her breasts.

"What?"

"At least it covers more, but still doesn't change the fact on how you dresses."

"Why you! I dun see you changing your clothes. They all look the same."

I raised an eyebrow when she walked pass mi.

Rin walked beside mi telling mi that Kimiko had another marking on her. I looked up to where she was pointing. Indeed. Kimiko's wrist now has the marking of what looks like a gliding snake in black. When the wind blew, I then noticed that she had a marking of what looked like a moon on her back and a line of stars on the lower hip. They looked familiar, but I couldn't remember where I saw it.

She turned around and barked at mi to move it. She also has a pair of stars on her left chest and diamond shaped markings on her upper thigh. I changed my mind; this outfit is more revealing for the marks were hidden from view by the previous one.

Hiei POV

I found myself outside the home of the lord of the south after questioning the villagers. I informed the others through the communicator. And waited at the village for them to appear.

Suddenly, the walls of the lord of the south home were blasted open. Fire started to swirl around the walls. Entrapping the people inside. I saw three flame dragons crashing and wrecking havoc to the home of the southern lord.

I rushed to the scene and saw the figure that I had missed for so long standing in the middle of the fire dragons.
