Chapter 13: finally meeting for the first time

Hiei POV

She was there, standing in the middle of the three fire dragons. The fire dragons were curling around her. They looked like my dragon of the darkness flame, but they were the color of non- luminous flame. They were crashing and thrashing about like they are in rage.

"KIMIKO!" a voice boomed. I turned to see a guy in white and a guy who was a wolf youkai. That must be the lord of the South. He was injured; half of his left side was burnt. Suddenly, swirls of flame encircled him, he tried to jump away, but they turned into blades and stabbed him. I turned to the source of power, she was there holding out a hand.

"KIMIKO! Stop this, this instance!"

"Why should I listen to a lowly youkai like you?" she directed her glaze to the white guy and taunted.

"Guards!"

"Fools!" as the guards charged at her, a fourth dragon emerged from her body and burnt whoever is close to it. This dragon color was different; it was orange with hue of red. The temperature to the room was increasing drastically. The furniture burst into flame and was reduced to ashes.

The Southern lord tried to make his way to the door, but was stopped within feet by one of her fire dragons. Its side of the head puffed up with spikes and shot at him. The white guy saved him from the spikes. The spikes upon contact with the marble tiled floor, a hole was melted through it. She was just standing there in the midst of the chaotic dragons, not breaking a sweat. I saw a glint of amusement in her eyes.

"Now…. What are you going to do, my oh so great lord of the South and the. …West?" for a moment, the high temperature dropped. I can't believe she spoke in such a cold tone.

"Kimiko onee san! Rin doesn't like this!" a girl came out from behind the pillar and ran towards her.

"RIN!" the white guy shouted and sped towards her, he reached her and ducked just in time before one of her fire dragons snapped at him with open jaws.

"This Sesshoumaru will not forgive you if you killed Rin" so the white guy is the demon lord of the West.

` He did not kill Kagome?'

"Kill? Ya, It won't be that fun if you all died so fast."

"Well guys, Game over." She placed her hand to her chest; the dragons stopped their movement and disappeared back into her body. The temperature stopped rising but was still a desert.

"Thanks, Kimiko onee san." The girl, Rin said from the lord's arm.

"Dun thanks mi yet. Its not over, I still haven had enough fun, especially with the lord of the South."

She started to glow red, wings started to spout from her back, her clothes seems to endure the flame. I could see that all of us were watching intently. She dropped to her knees when an arm came out of her back, followed by another, the thing seems to be pushing itself out of her back. A loud shriek was heard, when the thing finally emerged.

I was stunned; I have never seen such a beautiful creature before. The lords and the others in the room were also as stunned as I was. She sat on the floor, smirking at the lord of the South, with her hand outstretched besides her, where the angel of fire stood. Or should I say levitating with her legs half way burning out from her arm.

Sesshoumaru POV

I can't believe she tried to kill Rin. I can't believe I underestimated her, her power is growing. She dropped to her knees when flame erupted from her back. I thought she had lost control of her flame, but a beautiful creature stood beside her.

An angel of fire, she has elfish ears, three diamonds on her forehead. She has no pupils for the eyes. Nude. With feathers of flame spouting from her wrists and ankles. She looked heavenly.

"Like what you see? I sure hope so, she's the last thing you ever going to see ever again." Kimiko taunted from her position on the floor. She looks so dangerously beautiful, with the light of the flame reflecting off her hair.

Lord of the South POV

What was I thinking angering her? How could someone who looks so innocent be so powerful?

Kimiko POV

Never anger a magic caster, especially one with elemental powers. Those fools underestimated mi, now who is the weak one? It was fun traveling with Sesshy to here, but it's even more fun to kill him; I admit he's stronger than the other you kais around here. But no matter, he's only a youkai. Time to kill the lord of the South, Sesshy will prove to be an entertainment later.

"So, you plan to stand there staring at Scarlet or do you plan to fight like a lord?"

"Scarlet?" the Lord of the south asked.

"Yes. Her name is Scarlet. Any last words?"

"Yes, im sorry."

"What?"

"Im sorry for angering you, please forgive mi."

"Apologizes accepted."

"Really." As soon as I said I forgave him, he looked like a kid given candies to eat. So joyful.

"But, what am I going to do with her?" I motioned my head to Scarlet, who was patiently waiting for my commands, but I know she itched to play.

"Oh well. Scarlet go choose someone and play with him or HER." A shriek from her to indicate she understood. I could taste the fear rolling off the southern lord. Scarlet flew towards the mistress of the southern lord. Burst of flame engulfed her; a long piercing scream could be heard before she turned into ashes.

"Well, that was interesting. Dun you agree?" my question was obviously pointing towards the southern lord.

He was apparently still shocked by the lost of his mistress, he only nodded his head. I tapped him on the shoulder and he fell to his knees. What a weak creature.

I walked to where Scarlet was standing, above the pile of ashes. Gave her my hand to show I was pleased she attacked the Mistress, she was the one that angered mi the most. From her ashes I retrieved back my necklace.

Sesshoumaru POV

Its over. What is that necklace to her must be very important. She killed the mistress of the lord to get it back.

Hiei POV

It over, and I can sense the others coming. What is that? That's a necklace, does it belongs to her?

The rest arrived with Inuyasha shouting at Kagome.

"YOU STUPID WENCH! SO THAT'S WHERE YOU ARE! YOU ARE MY SHARD DETECTER, YOU SHOULD BE DETECTING SHARDS FOR MI!"

`What an idiot. Doesn't he sees the threat in front of him?'

"SESSHOMARU YOU BASTARD! HOW DARE YOU TAKE AWAY MY SHARD DETECTE…"

He was cut off with Kagome pinning him to the ground by the neck. He dug his claws into her hand, trying to throw her off. She did not back off with pain; she showed no signs of pain at all. The others rushed to break them apart. But was stopped by Scarlet. The lords and the others just looked on.

"You should learn to hold your tongue, hanyou."

"What!" successfully throwing her back. She back flipped and landed gracefully onto the ground, hatred burning in her eyes.

"WHAT DID YOU CALL MI, BITCH!"

Kimiko POV

I had enough of him. How dare he insult mi, I am no longer Kagome.

"I called you a hanyou. Dun understand, well what to expect you are way too stupid to understand what language im talking anyway. Considering the fact that you are a WORTHLESS, FILTHY, USELESS, ANNOYING, IDIOTIC, PATHETHIC, ILL- TEMPERED, NO MANNERS, HALF- BLOODED INSOLENT, UNGRATEFUL, MUTT- FACED HALF BREED!"

I exploded. Scarlet seeing that I was upset, wrapped her arms around mi; I took comfort in it and relaxed. I saw the others looking shocked at me; Inuyasha was stunned by my outburst. But soon recovered by insulting me again.

I growled loudly at him and shot my right hand forward. One of my fire dragons shot up and charged towards Inuyasha, slamming him to the wall, in the process crashing to the outside. I forgot about his fire robe. No matter, it's only against fire not against others…

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!"

"Your demise! You fool!" with another wave. My water dragon appeared. He tried to cut Ceres with his sword.

"Fool, you can never cut water." Instead of destroying Ceres as he thought he could, now he had double trouble, Ceres spitted into two. Both resumed into their more humanoid form. The second Ceres instead of long hair, she has short hair. With one hooped earring. The rest is the same. I think I will call her Tsuki, which means the moon.

"WHAT THE!"

An arrow whizzed towards mi. I stopped it in mid movement and shot it back to its owner, kikyo. Inuyasha saw this and leapt to destroy the arrow.

"HOW DARE YOU ATTACK, KIKYO!"

"SHUT UP! YOU BAKA! KIKYO SHOT KAGOME FIRST!" Yusuke shouted.

"Ne! Kagome, we can talk it over." Sango suggested as she approached mi.

My beasts saw her approaching and stood protectively in front of mi. I stared at the Inu- baka, waved my hand, as my beasts parted to allow mi space to walk towards them. I stood in front of them.

"First off, im Kimiko. Call mi Kagome again, you die." Waving my hand once as the beasts disappeared.

"Hey! Where did they go Kagome?"

I shot an ice arrow at Kuwabara instantly freezing him.

"What's there to talk?"

"Well…. you see." Yusuke started.

"What?"

"Do…do you still remember everything about us?"

"Yes. Why?" I saw them sighed out a relief.

"We were just afraid that you have forgotten about us." Kurama stated handing mi Shippo. Shippo was jumping with joy on his arms.

"What? You expect mi to hold him?" it was only after a moment when Shippo grew wide teary eyes and cried a waterfall. I just simply raised an eyebrow at him. The others were looking horrified at mi, even that stupid mutt.

"But…. he's your son." Kurama whispered out but I heard him fine.

"Used to be when im still Kagome. Since im back, I dun think so. It's for his own good anyway."

"How could it be for his own good?" Yusuke cried out.

"Do you think my kind will treat him as one of us, he will only be casted out just like that hanyou in the youkai society. My dear spirit detective."

"But…. it doesn't matters as long as you care for him." Kurama argued.

"Fine. I dun mind as long as he doesn't mind. Dun say I din't warn you."

Shippo who was crying a river, stopped and latched onto my chest when I said that. I looked down at him hesitantly and hugged him back. This is not going to be easy to work out with the others.

"So anything else?"

"Kimiko, Koenma Sama wants to see you right away, he says to bring the jewel shards as well." Botan chirped in.

I glanced at her and nodded. I was waiting for the inevitable. As expected in 3 seconds.

"NO WAY, WENCH. You are not bringing any jewel shards to what Koenma person. They belong to kikyo."

"No, they belong to mi, have been and will always be mine." I shot him a cold look. Slashing a portal with my free hand and stepped through with the group following.

At Koenma's office~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Awww, so CUTE!" I cried, abandoning the cold exterior and hugged the toddler, in the process dropping Shippo. I was hugging him while he snuggled into my chest when Yusuke hit him on the head.

"Hey! Why did you do that?"

"Because, he's taking advantages of you! He's Koenma and he can change into a teenager."

"Really?"

"Yes! And he better change now!" holding up a fist threateningly.

The toddler gulped and in a puff changed into a teenager.

"Hmm…. I like you better as a toddler. So change back, please…" I was still holding him.

"Ok!" he said rather cheerfully and turned back. I then noticed that Sesshoumaru had followed us here.

"Hey, Sesshy, why are you here for?"

"Dun act all innocent, you practically blew up the southern lord home for a piece of necklace."

"But it is very important to mi!" I pouted.

"Why do I sense magic from it?"

"None of your business. Dun ask if you dun wanna end up like him." I pointed to a pile of ash that was once an org just now.

Silence reined the room.

"So why am I here?"

"Well, you see…" Koenma started as he jumps back onto the desk.

"So you want the jewel shards to keep?"

"Ya."

"NO WAY! They are MINE. I mean KIKYO'S. He changed his sentences when kikyo glared at him.

Two can play this game.

"I think I will keep it with ME."

"WHAT! DIN'T YOU HEAR MI!"

"I can hear perfectly fine, what's the fun in that to listen to you."

I outstretched my hand towards kikyo and the next moment the jewel shards she has flew and merged with mine. I pointed at Koenma and the jewel shard he had kept flew and merged with mine as well.

"Well, Inuyasha, they dun seems to want to stay with clay pot and you."

"WHAT!"

"Is that the only word you noe in your vocabulary?"

`WHAT!"

"So it seems." Shooting him a glare that was filled with distaste.

Kurama POV

She really did change, more mean….

# I dun think so, that mutt deserves it, I say she changed for the better. #

`You are right. But isn't she a little bit too harsh on Shippo just now?'

#…. Better him than us. Besides she accepted him already. #

`I suppose so.'

#I still want her! #

[Me too. Me too. ]

`Fine with mi.'

Yusuke POV

She such changed a LOT. I wonder our relationship is still as close as before?

Hiei POV

She turned really cold hearted, and she was merciless towards the enemy. She's very powerful as well.

{So you giving up on her?}

No.

{Good!}

Koenma POV

She's quite playful. But I bet that's not all of it. I checked for her file but nothing was recorded there. Her background shouldn't be that simple. There must be something amiss, I should consult father.

Kimiko POV

"So ANYTHING else?" I was getting bored and itching for something to happen.

"Well, can you tell us how you came about with the jewel?"

"Hmm…. It has always been with mi."

"Feh." Glaring at him.

"Have you gone senile you mutt brain. The jewel was taken out from mi by mistress centipede, when I first came here. And you wanted to kill mi for it. REMEMBER!"

"Feh!"

"Hn! Anyway, I was thought to be kikyo's recantation because I resemble her. Oh well, what to expect, ningens are simple minded. They never thought that it was another reason that I resemble her or she resembles mi to be exact."

"What the hell are you talking about? Kikyo is older than you."

"Hn, of course. And she DIED way before mi" letting taunting to lace my words.

"Hn. She may be older than Kagome, but dear hanyou, you seems to forget that im Kimiko. I am older than she is."

"WHAT!"

"Hn. Im about 200 something. You baka."

"WHAT!"

"You are THAT old?" Yusuke exclaimed.

"THAT is not considered old in my realm." They were looking at mi with disbelief.

"I really my, ok! Im not ningen in case all of you forgot again!"

"Anyway! I got the jewel way before she did. I had too much in my hand so I sent it down here to the demon exterminator. The jewel chose kikyo because SHE resembles MI. Not MI who resembles HER. It's the other way round. So all this time that Inuyasha is insulting mi, he is insulting kikyo as well. Considering she is the one who looks like mi."

"THAT'S not possible, you are lying."

"Hn! Im older than her, and I was only changed into a baby to be send to the ningenkai. How can someone who is alive longer than she is, be her recantation. Besides it is to my most regret to know that I share the same resembrances to such a ningen." Shaking my head with disgust.

"So the jewel belongs to you, because you have many other things on your hand so you gave it to the ningens?"

"Ya. The jewel was from the ningen, so I guess it can find a replacement to look after it. Who could have thought it chose her, who happens to look like mi when I am in ningen form. My weakest form."

"WHAT other things can you a weakling look after."

"A LOT of things that you can never get your hands on, or simply see it once in your whole half breeded life." Glancing at him with cold, hard eyes.

"And it would be wise to keep your opinion to yourself before I rip your mouth out." I stated coldly and he got the point.

"Are you just any other sorceress?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean I noe you are from the bloodline of royalties, but you say you look after other things…. so you should not be just any other regular royalties, right?"

"You are absolutely right!"

"So can you tell mi what is it?"

"No. Go figure yourself. Im going back home. Bye!"

Koenma POV

She disappeared through the portal. She can open a portal? What other powers do she possess? The gods fear her, and they are not telling mi anything? I am getting a headache.

Hiei POV

I read Koenma's mind and relayed the message to the others excluding the mutt and the clay pot.

"We should get to know the new her better." Kurama suggested.

`Or should we say the old her?'

They others nodded the shikon gang wanted to follow us, Koenma told them he will take care all the necessarily things to survive in that world for them.

Botan opened a portal and we went back to find ourselves at the Sunset shrine. Kimiko was standing there. Looking at us with no expression at all. She reached out her arms and Shippo ran to her. Then, she turned to leave.

Where is she going, she's not going back into the house?

"Hn." And I went to follow her. The rest decided to crash at Yusuke's.

Somewhere in the park~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Hn, where are you going?"

"That's none of your business, tree sprite."

I stopped when she called mi that; I walked beside her and saw she was smiling. She looks so beautiful.

"Thank you for that compliment." She smirked, as I was surprised again. She reads mind?

"Yup! I could say the same to you."

"Hn."

"Hn, yourself." She stopped and faced mi.

"You all know nothing of mi. And I will have fun playing with each and everyone of you." With that she disappeared, I tried to sense her scent but she had it covered.

"Damn." I made my way back to inform the others.

` What does she means by play? And she seems sad when she said we know nothing of her?"
