"Do you cry for the girl? My replacement? My copy?" asked Kikyo coldly.

"She is not your copy!! She is special!" cried Inuyasha.

"Maybe so but it seems to me that she chose Koga," after thinking for a few seconds Kikyo added, "a full demon."

"How did you know? I guess no one will ever love me," said Inuyasha. A few more tears leaked out of his eyes.

"I will love you. As soon as the jewel is complete you can become human and we will live with one another," said Kikyo as she kneeled in front of Inuyasha to wipe a few tears.

"Really?"

"Yes, I will love you Inuyasha."

*Without another word Kikyo leaned forward and caught Inuyasha's lips with her own.*

"Inuyasha!! Where are you?!? Inu-" Kagome stopped calling his name as she came into the clearing and saw Kikyo and Inuyasha kissing.

`I should have known he would pick her. She loved him and he loves her. I have to go home,' thought Kagome as she ran from the clearing.
