Necko: (With no emotion) Why do you care?

 

Raven: I have created a monster….

 

Necko: (Running and hiding behind Raven) AHHH A monster where?

“Yes”

 

“Who was that women?”

 

Kohaku went silent. They both had been silent since the incident earlier with Inuyasha.

 

“Well?”

 

Well what?”

 

“ Who was she?”

Kohaku took a deep Breath and explained. “Her name is Songo. She was one of the People in my Village. Her Family and my dad were good friends. She was with us when I killed my comrades. I killed her dad and demons that attacked the village killed the rest of her family. She managed to survive but thinks it is my fault that our clan is dead. So she wants revenge.” Kohaku lied. He was not going to tell that that was his sister for he Knew Yukari would make him go back to her and he could not let that happen. Not yet. “ That's horrible” Yukari said. They were still riding on Kuro so she could not see his face if she did she would know he was lying. He was grateful for that.

 

“Kohaku”

 

“Yes”

 

“ I promise to protect you from her or anyone who wishes to harm you. Lady Kikiyo said before she put me to sleep that only a person with a pure hart could break the barrier around me. It was no accident you managed to break the barrier. I believe fate has brought us together so we wont be alone anymore. Kokaku you will be the only human that will trust besides my mother. If anyone tries to hurt you I will kill them with my bear hands. We are the same really. We have no family and everyone hates us. But we don't need anyone else. After we beat that bastard Naraku we can go far away just you, Kuro and me. Yea that sounds good huh Kohaku.” Yukari said. (A.N. Pretty inspiring speech huh) Kohaku was speechless. This girl. This half demon girl. Whom he just met today. Who life was ruined by a human was telling him she trusts him.

 

“Kohaku”

 

“Yes”

 

“Promise me you will never leave me like my mother did”
