"You wont lay one hand on her, Naraku..." Inuyasha replied gruffly as he stood there sending a death glare toward Kagome.

"Oh I wont will I , the wench just gave herself to me whole heartedly...you have no say so in what I do with her now, she is mine..."

Kagome gasped at listening to his words he sounded so cruel and cold hearted she didn't give herself a way to him...or...had she...?

"The wench is not yours, Naraku. We both know she is carring my child. I already have claim on her no matter what her words are, she cannot give herself to you with out my permission."

Inuyasha sounded just a cruel as Naraku discussing her as she to be no more then a simple prize, of who would have her first. She wouldn't stand for this. She was not a prize. She was a young woman,a respected young woman at that. Tears blurred her vision as she ran straite for the stairs, at which she had come down just moments earlier...

Inuyasha's glance followed her up the stairs till she was no longer in sight...

"Seems your wench has run away from you half breed..." Naraku said smoothly

"You dont blame her do you?" He said with a raised brow

"ENOUGH" Sango yelled steamingly

Both men turned there looks to the young woman that sat in the corner.

"How can you just stand there and talk about her this way...Inuyasha I thought you had a heart. But I guess I was wrong and I was wrong not to belive Kagome either, you are just a stupied half breed...with no heart!" With that Sango ran out and up the stairs to try to find Kagome not thinking that she wasn't even supposed to be here at castle Kinnon.

Those words rang in his head..."You are just a stupied halfbreed" had Kagome really called him that. No Kagome wasn't like that she loved him for who he was not what he was. God how could he have been so stupied not to realize what all she had been thorough. He completely and utterly abandoned her in the forest, to fend for herself, found out she was pregnate. Oh god, had she known before now? Did she know she was pregnate before he had spoke of it to Naraku.Was that why she ran? No she ran because she hated him. Fire filled his heart. Naraku had done this it was all making sence now. Naraku had planned for her to get pregnate.... to make her think Inuyasha had abandon her and the unborn child...but on what account....why was he so interested in Kagome....it counldnt be because of the miko she so resembled could it...Kikyo had hated Naraku or so he had thought.....but unknown to him Kikyo had been by Naraku's side at one time...or another...Had stood their whole, full of life and spirt...untill that spirt was broken...broken from the brute himself...Used her, abandoned her...to be the nothing that she was now that she was no longer pure....But why did he abandon Kikyo...She was a man's everything...she kept him happy... stood by his side....what possibley could Kagome give him that Kikyo couldn't....and then it hit him...Kikyo couldn't bare children and knowing that Kagome could he would take her and make his own clan from her..treat her her as if she was nothing...All his use for her would have been is to give him children...but that was no life to lead, specially not for Kagome....a young an beatitiful girl....full of life an spirtness, happiness. He'd be damned before he would let Naraku have her not as long as he lived...he would protect her with his life...even if it meant giving up his own in the process...even if she did hate him he could die knowing he gave his life to save the woman that he loved...and the child that he never got the chance to meet but would watch over...when he came back to put his claim on her once more...

Inuyasha drew Tetsusaiga...."Come on I will fight for her....I will not let you have her..."

" Very well fight for your wench...but I will not guarentee you survival." Naraku retorted.

Inuyasha's blood went colod when he lashed Tetsusaiga into Naraku...He hadn't even tryed to block it..was he expecting this...Inuyasha was no longer thinking clearly..Inuyasha pulled his sword from Naraku's still body now lifeless on the floor...'What the hell that was way too easy...' Well at least Kagome was safe for now.

He turned to make his way to the imprisment that Miroku was captivated in and saw the terrified looking Rin who had just witnessed the battle that had taken place.."Oh god Rin come here.." Inuyasha said squattin' to one knee...Rin just staired at him..."Come on it's ok...it's over no one's going to hurt you I promise...she backed away shaking her head..."Rin you can trust me...Im with Kagome...you --..."

"Rin it's ok let him help you...he's on our side.."Miroku interupted.

Rin lashed out toward Inuyasha arms tangled around his neck as he heard few soft whimpers from the terrified girl. "It's ok Rin really...everything is safe now I promise you"

Inuyasha pushed himself up off the ground one arm snugg around Rin's small form as he used the sword to break the gate of Miroku's captivity. "Ah thank's man....it's been forever almost." Miroku sighed in contempt, of finally being free from there...Inuyasha on the other hand was still in Aw from it being so easy to defeat Naraku....after all this time he was all talk...sereve's the bastard right for trying to hurt Kagome....Kagome oh shit he had forgot all about her..and Sango....well at least they'd be happy to know that Naraku was dead...or at least dead to them...

Sango found Kagome crying at the top of the stairs an immedently went to help...

"Kagome....?" she asked queitly

"Oh Sango..."

"It's alright Kagome he didn't mean he was just upset"

"He still had no right" she scolded

"Your right, he didnt...but he did...he was upset..and he's prolly down there fighting for you right now....he loves you Kagome can't you see that..."

"I know Sango....I know...I dont know what was wrong with me but I want to hate him I really do...I want to hate him for getting me pregante I want to hate him for being the man he is I want to hate him for making me fallin love with him.....

"Then you should hate me" he said queitly

Kagome gasped...."You really should hate me, Kag....I did abandon you...I did get you pregnate....and yes....I did fall in love with you...and I still am inlove with you...and no one can change that...not even you...I can't stop what I feel"

"Oh gods Inuyasha how could you do that to me...I gave myself to you and I wake up and you....you... GOD" she burst into tears....:"You hurt me Inuyasha, you really did...."

"I know that Kagome and I'm sorry I truly am..."

Kagome just shook her head and let her tears fall...she was making a fool of herself in front of everyone..Inuyasha sat Rin down...and went to sit beside Kagome..."Can you guys leave us alone for a little while"he asked...Miroku and Sango nodded....and Sango grabbed Rins little hand to give Kagome and Inuyasha the privacy....

After a few moments of silence..Kagome asked "Why didnt you tell me Inuyasha?"

"About what...?"

"About what? About everything....the whole ordeal with Naraku...and you..."

Inuyasha lowered his eyes " I'm sorry Kagome I was trying to protect you I guess...i've done some stupied things in my life Kagome..." He let his eyes find her again...and cupped her chin to make her face him...."But the most stupiedest thing I have ever done was letting you go...you and our child..." He reddened a little "The child that we made together Kagome,us, me and you...." Kagome was forced to let out a giggle...She had never seen him turn so red before....Inuyasha even let himself smile...yet another new thing for him...he rarely smiled, untill, he smirked at the thought, untill that is he meet Kagome....

Inuyasha's eyes followed her glance..."Kagome what's wrong...?" He asked...

"Kagome giggled...and grabbed his hand and placed it on her newly rounded stomach...He jerked back.."What the hell is growing in you woman..." he said eyesbrows high...

Kagome extended her arms around his neck..."Inuyasha, do you love me...?" she asked

"Of course I do what gave you the idea that I didnt...?" Kagome didnt answer his question but instead brought on a new one "You know Sesshomaru gave me a room and it's currently not accupied at the moment" she said smiling...he caught on to what she meant.."Well maybe you should show me too this room...it better meet my standerds or I might just have to kill him..."

She smiled leading him off...to their destenation....

"So you mean Naraku is dead....?" Sango gasped

"Yea, all Inuyasha did was leash Tetsisaiga at him and he feel to the ground lifeless"

"Are you sure he's dead...?"

"Pretty sure my love..."

Sango blushed as she hugged Miroku. He extended his arms around her as well..."I've missed you so much Sango...you have no idea..."

"And I you..."

Miroku could no longer take it he pressed his mouth down onto her's...he was surprised to notice she had deepened the kiss toher own standards....they fianlly pulled away from each other....

"Dont" Sango whispered "not in front of Rin..."

"She's asleep..."

Sango sent a death glare toward him as he sighed in defeat.

"Miroku what do you make of the missing wind tunnle...?"

"I have no idea myself..."

"But you said the only way the wind tunnle would go away is when Naraku is dead...right"

Miroku nodded

"But Inuyasha just killed Naraku.."

Sango covered her mouth as she staired horrified...."Sango darling what is it...."

"Naraku...He had to have already been dead...which would make it that his ghost has returned.... to take revenge...it's the only explenation and it would make alot more sence to know why he fell so easy to Inuyasha..."

"Oh so you dont think it was my strength that killed him, Sango?"

She turned swiftly to find Kagome in Inuyasha's arms...And smiled " Glad to see you two back together"

Kagome blushed.."Do you really think that was his ghost I faught...."Inuyasha asked with a raised brow.

"It's the only way...Miroku's wind tunnle had dissapeared... and eveyone knows it was Naraku's curse and the only way to break it was for him to be killed and if you killed him about an hour ago wouldnt Miroku still have had his wind tunnle them instead of loosing it about 4 weeks ago...."

"Does it really matter..?" Kagome cut in..."He's gone and outta out lives forever we can fianally have peace."

"Kagome's right" Miroku agreed

"I'm just glad it's all over..." Sango added...

The wind begun to blow hard..."What the hell?" yelled Inuyasha over the howling of the wind.... the doors burst open...Widing eyes..

"Where's the bad guy did I miss the fight already..." Kouga frowned as he noticed them staring at him...

"I'll be damned I missed it again..."

Kagome started giggling...."Sorry Kouga...Inuyasha saved us all didn't you Inu-chan..." she said poking him in the side with her elbow...Inuyasha nodded

"Kouga walked up to the group..." So I guess it's all over, huh?"

"Sure is and thank god..."Kagome said smiling

Kouga glanced down and his head shot up.."Be damned woman...your pregante?"

Kagome blushed... "So mutt face I guess you have put your final claim on my woman..."

Kagome nodded at Inuyasha to not say anything.."Yea so I have,havent I...."he replied smoothly rolling his golden eyes...

Kagome gasped..."What know..." Kouga blurted...

Kagome blushed...."Nothing guys Im fine...can we just go home now...?"

"Inuyasha nodded picking Kagome up.."Wow... I can't wait till that thing get's outta you do you know how heavy you are.." Inuyasha smirked.Kagome caught on to his joke...."Well if you'd rather im sure Kouga wouldnt mind carring me home..." Inuyasha just sighed...and nugged her a little..."Do you have any idea how much I love you Kagome Higurashi...?"

"No...maybe you could show me...." she replied playfuly..

Inuyasha grinned yea, I just might take you up on that offer...

She smiled at him as he kissed her..."Promise me one thing...Kagome..."

"And what would that be...?"

"That you will love me forever..."

"I promise you that Inuyasha I will be forever your, throught thick and thin..."

"I promise you too, Kag...You'll always be by my side and I by your's and that a Halfbreed telling you that.

She laughed. That of course she could belive it to be so.
