"Come on Sango let's get back to camp..."said Kouga offering his hand with a soft smile... Sango took his hand.. Not realizing what Kouga was up too...

"You knew didn't you?" asked Sango "Knew what" "Bout Naraku using Kagome to get to Inuyasha..." "Huh" "Kill her stupid" "Oh yea I knew..." "So thats what the little boy project was...right?" *Sigh*Yeaaaa.... It was Sango, me, and Inu are working on a way to kill Naraku for good but it's not helping with this new thing Kagomes got...me and Inu both decided that killing her was definitely out of the question." Sango just glanced back at Kouga who offered her another one of those cute smiles. *~*~*~*~ He had been walking for hours on end. Kagome was starting to get heavy and it was getting dark...the worst part it was staring to drizzle a little rain "Oh great"...mumbled Inuyasha He sat Kagome down beneath a full grown oak tree...for shelter of the rain he gather up a few branches before they got too wet to be able to be lit... and started a small fire to keep her fragile body warm...Inuyasha slid off the top part of his komano and laid it across Kagomes bare legs.. That looked to have goose bumps because her body was cold...he stared at her for a min.. Before deciding to sit down beside her. Working up a few gut's he slid his arm around her shoulders...and rested his hand on her slim waist...I'm sorry I got you involved in this Kagome... but I promise I will always be here for you no matter what.. And Ill protect you with all my power.. Said Inuyasha lowering his head letting his forehead rest on Kagomes. "Promise" said a fairly shaky voice "Whahhh" "Calm down Inuyasha said Kagome giggling.. "Promise what" "To always be there for me when I need you and... Protect me?" Said Kagome smiling "Fea...yea I guess soo" "You guess Sooo...so you can be sweet and caring when no ones listening or you think isn't listening but you can't baby me for even too seconds.. Asked Kagome working up a fuss. "Hahahha, calm down Kagome...you might pass out if you get all worked up like that...I was only kidding! Kagome just looked at him with a pout face on.... "So do you feel better..."asked Inuyasha Yea.. I feel fine...why wouldn't I fell fine.. And come to think of it why are we out her...ALONE...asked Kagome "You didnt have to say it like that...you know...I gotta pick up something.. And I wasn't about to trust Kouga around a unconscious girl...like your self" "Oh so now I can't take care of my self..."protested Kagome "That's not what I said.. Kagome" "Then..." "Kagome just drop it...or save it for in the morning.. I got a lot of stuff on my mind and I need to think...just leave me alone for a while.. OK "said Inuyasha giving her a half smile... "OK" she replied in a low tone...she sunk down up against the tree and look over at Inuyasha who had his eyes closed...'maybe he is asleep' thought Kagome Working up her guts she snuggled up close making her body form the exact position Inuyasha was in. Inuyasha felt her arm slip around his waist and he just smiled as he tried to appear asleep...Kagome pushed her face down into Inuyasha back and lay there quietly...waiting for him to protest.. But he never did instead he grabbed her hand and caressed her soft palm.. Making her giggle a little... _______________
