Kagome woke up and looked around. It must have been early the sun was still low in the sky. Inuyasha had laid her and Shippo down on his mat and had left. She still felt warm, so he couldn't have left that long ago.

 

“Kagome what are you doing up this early?” Sango asked as Kagome sat up.

 

Kagome looked over at Sango who was sitting on her mat trying to wake up all the way, “Got used to it while I was in my time with Inuyasha.”

 

“Oh, he woke you up early?” Sango said as Kagome detangled her arm from Shippo's grip.

 

“Yeah, one time he woke me up by bathing my neck in kisses.” Kagome said as she set Shippo down and walked over and sat by her friend. “I think I almost made him deaf, I screamed so loud…”

 

“Interesting.” Sango said with a grin.

 

“Sango.” Kagome squeaked. “Don't go Miroku on me.”

 

“What about me?” Miroku said sitting up.

 

“Sango's being a perv…” Kagome mumbled.

 

“No I'm just stating that Inuyasha has interesting ways of waking Kagome up in the morning.” Sango said standing up and heading for the door, but stopped and smiled back at her adding, “And I think our Kagome enjoys the attention.”

 

“Sango I'm going to get you!” Kagome yelled running after the older girl.

 

“Aw Kagome has a crush.” Sango said as she ran from the younger girl.

 

“Sango, shhh he'll hear you!” Kagome said as she followed after Sango dodging some little kids who were running and playing in the opposite direction.

 

“Who'll hear what?” Inuyasha said as he landed in front on Kagome.

 

“No one, nothing.” Kagome answered quickly as she glared over at Sango. When Sango went to say something Kagome said with a sly grin, “Hey Sango, I'm sure Miroku will be happy to know your little secret.”

 

“Have a nice day you two.” Sango said with a dark blush as she quickly walked towards Kaede's hut.

 

“Resorting to blackmail, how unlike you Kago.” Inuyasha said with a smirk. “But, do tell what are you hiding from me?”

 

“Not'tin.” Kagome said as she started walking past him, hoping that Inuyasha would just drop it. “Sango and I were just messing around.”

 

Inuyasha smirked as he grabbed onto her wrist. “Aw Kago, are you embarrassed about something?”

 

Kagome looked at him a blush rushing to her cheeks thinking, “He knows! I don't know how, but he does!”

 

Inuyasha let go of her wrist and kissed her cheek before heading back off into the forest. “Have a nice day Kago I'll talk to you later.”

 

“He's going to be the end of me…” Kagome muttered as she headed back to their hut. If she was right there was a bathing suit that got left behind in a trunk Kaede gave them.

 

“Kagome where are you headed?” Miroku asked as he exited the hut.

 

“To get my bathing suit and then go to the hot spring.” Kagome said as she walked into the hut.

 

Once Kagome was done she walked out in her clothes, her bikini under it, and a towel under her arm.

 

“Kagome where are you going?” Sango asked as she walked up.

 

“The hot spring, just to relax.” Kagome said with a shrug.

 

“Oh then I'll see you later then.” Sango said with a nod as she walked off with Kirara behind her. “Tell everyone I'm going to my village to fix up my weapons.”

 

“No problem.” Kagome said as she waved to her, after she got on Kirara.

 

Kagome finally made it to the hot spring, after telling Miroku where Sango went off to, then explaining to Kaede that she would train her miko powers later when she got back, and last but not least explaining to Inuyasha, who was still bothering her, that she was not going to help him get exercise.

 

“Are you even listening to me Kagome?!” Inuyasha asked after she hadn't responded to him saying that he'd just start chasing her.

 

“Hmm? You say something to me?” Kagome asked with a grin as she took of her clothes showing off a dark green bikini.

 

“You didn't hear a word I said, huh?” Inuyasha said in a frustrated tone as she got into the hot spring.

 

“Nope.” Kagome said before dunking underwater. “Not a word.”

 

“Fine, then I'll just join you.” Inuyasha said removing his tops and then jumping in.

 

When Inuyasha came up Kagome dunked him back under screaming, “I can't believe you!”

 

“It could have been avoided.” Inuyasha said with a grin. “All you had to do was entertain me for a while.”

 

“Whatever…” Kagome huffed splashing him, before swimming over to the rocks in the middle of the hot spring.

 

“Aw come on Kagome…” Inuyasha said swimming over to her.

 

“No.”

 

“Do you even know what I'm going to ask you this time?” Inuyasha asked as he basically sat in her lap, trapping her between him and the rock behind her.

 

“No but most likely my answer is going to be no.” Kagome said glaring at him. “Now get away from me so I can relax.”

 

“Relax then…” Inuyasha breathed as he kissed her neck. “I'll help…”

 

“Inu…” Kagome said as she squirmed under his touch. “Inuyasha…”

 

“Hmm?” Inuyasha said lazily looking at her.

 

“Kouga.” Kagome said looking behind him to where Kouga was standing, looking like he was about ready to kill someone.

 

Inuyasha growled his eyes darkening as he looked over his shoulder. “Kouga go away.”

 

“Get away from her…” Kouga growled.

 

“Inuyasha please…” Kagome said burying her head in his chest. Inuyasha looked down at her like he had been sat, but he hugged her when she finished. “Don't leave me…”

 

“Kouga I don't know if you heard that, but she told me not to leave her.” Inuyasha growled as he moved off her and picked her up standing on the rocks. “That means leave us be.”

 

“You don't deserve her.” Kouga growled as Inuyasha jumped to where Kagome's clothes were.

 

Inuyasha let Kagome down and turned to Kouga growling, “Kagome part of my pack, not yours. Kagome is going to be my mate, you touch her and I'll kill you.”

 

“She'll stop you.” Kouga growled as he tried to get to Kagome, who had quickly dried off and put on her top but left it open.

 

“She won't.” Inuyasha said getting in his way. “She knows better.”

 

“She's not demon, she wouldn't know too much about the way demons act.” Kouga growled.

 

“I taught her better then that.” Inuyasha growled punching at Kouga, hitting him in the stomach. “Go away before I rip out your heart, and feed it to you.”

 

“Inuyasha, is this what she really wants? To be with you?” Kouga asked as he backed up putting his hand to his stomach.

 

“Yes it is!” Inuyasha yelled as he charged him. “Kagome wants to be with me, not you.”

 

“You find out then.” Kouga said from his spot where he jumped up into a tree. “Just send her my way if she doesn't want you.”

 

Inuyasha growled and glared at Kouga as he took off. Inuyasha then turned to Kagome and said softly “Kagome…”

 

Kagome walked up to him and hugged him. “Hmm…?”

 

“You do want to be with me, don't you?” Inuyasha said nuzzling her neck. “Please tell me you do.”

 

“Inuyasha I said I would stay with you.” Kagome said looking up at him. “I want to stay with you.”

 

Inuyasha smiled down at her and kissed her lightly. “Kagome, my Kagome.”

 

Kagome smiled at that and moved closer to him. “I'm never going to get to relax, hmm?”

 

“Sooner or later.” Inuyasha chuckled. “Grab your pants; well sit around the village for a while.”

“I'm so tired…” Kagome yawned as Inuyasha carried her to the hut. “How can so many people have something wrong with them?”

 

Since they had gotten back Kagome had run to get herbs, played with Shippo, trained with Kaede, got more herbs, and helped some people run errands. It was now dark, and she was tired, Inuyasha decided that she was done, telling Kaede she was too tired, even though Kagome said she was fine.

 

“And you wanted to train some more.” Inuyasha said shaking his head. “You would have passed out.”

 

“Eh…” Kagome mumbled, “You would have caught me.”

 

“Not the point…” Inuyasha said as he walked into the hut. “Where's the rest of our pack?”

 

“Sango's at her village fixing her weapons, Miroku's around here somewhere, and Shippo should almost be here.” Kagome explained as Inuyasha sat down on his matt with her in his lap. “If he doesn't show up soon, I should go look for him…”

 

“No worries, he's close by.” Inuyasha said as he lazily drew circles on her stomach. “But you need some sleep.”

 

“I know…” Kagome yawned as she closed her eyes.

 

“Goodnight Kago…” Inuyasha said with a smile after kissing her cheek. “Sleep well.”

 

“Night Inu…” Kagome said as her eyes slipped closed.
