Prologue

Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!

The sound was stopped by someone pressing a button on the alarm clock. A young sixteen year old got up from her bed stretching. She had raven black hair and deep brown eyes. Her name is Kagome. She lived in a shrine with her parents, brother Souta, grandfather and her cat, Buyo. She went on with her daily routine and put on green short sleeve shirt that said “Hey I'm just being me” in front and at the back “If you don't like it… FUCK OFF!” at the back with a jeans mini skirt and white flip flops.

She ran down and saw her family eating breakfast.

“Morning everyone!” Her reply was a good morning.

“Hurry up and eat Kagome, you don't want to be late for school, do you?” Her mom said. Both of them looked so alike everyone thought they were twins, except her mom had shorter hair.

“Yeah. You wouldn't want to keep your lover boy waiting” Souta said with a snicker. He had the same color of eyes but different shade of black hair (it's brown). He and his father looked the same way. After that statement, he got a bump on the head from his favorite sister.

“There's nothing going on between us! He already has a girlfriend.” Kagome said with a glare. Her mother was wearing a summer dress with an apron. Her father was wearing a business suit.

“He may have something for you Kagome” Her father said.

“That'll never happen” She replied with sadness in her voice.

“Don't be so sure” He replied.

“OK let's stop talking about my love life.” She looked at the time. “Oh my god! I'm gonna be late! Bye” She gave her parents pecks, ruffled Souta's hair and ran out. After a few seconds, Souta and grandpa got up.

“I'd better get going too. See ya!” He was out.

“I have business to take care of” And grandpa was out.

An alarm went off on dad's ring on his left index finger. The both exchanged glances.

Suddenly he spoke, “Talk to me”…

“Azumi! You finished all the milk! What am I supposed to use to eat my cereal?!”

“It's either you eat it raw or you can chew my ass!” Was his reply.

“Young lady, watch your tongue!”

“Sorry mom!”

The person making a fuss over the cereal was InuYasha. He had long silver hair, wild bangs, amber eyes and a pair of cute dog ears on his head. He was the hottest half demon in school. Right now, he wore a red white beater and black baggy jeans with a pair of timberlands. The other was Azumi. Like her brother, she had long silver hair, amber eyes and a pair of dog ears on her head. The only difference was her bangs were calm and smooth. She wore a dark pink alter neck with a pair of faded jeans and white sneakers. They usually acted like twins but the truth was InuYasha was three years older but they were very close.

“I can't believe I'm related to the both of you.” Another person entered the kitchen where InuYasha was followed by Azumi. He looked like InuYasha except he had elf like ears instead of dog ears. He had a pair of purple stripes on his cheeks and his bangs were wild but tamer than InuYasha's. He was a full-fledged demon. He wore a black short sleeve shirt, capri's and white sneakers.

“Face it Sesshoumaru, you'll be nothing without us.” Azumi replied with a smirk. He turned round and gave her a smile.

“You're right. After all, who'll I tease and pull pranks on?”

“Keh.” Was InuYasha's reply. They all sat down, picked up anything edible and ate.

“So Sesshoumaru, when's the wedding?” Azumi asked.

Sesshoumaru had an 18 year old fiancée. Her name was Rin. She was in her last year in high school. She was a pretty young woman and was always cheery. They met in a restaurant when Sesshoumaru had a meeting. She was the daughter of one of his co-workers. Once his eyes landed on her, he couldn't take them off. From that day, they went on dates and he finally proposed to her a year ago.

“As soon as I'm able to merge the companies. After all, it's more than enough since the both of you are still in high school.” He looked at the clock. “Speaking of which, aren't you guys late?”

“Oh shit!” They both exclaimed. They got their back packs and left, Azumi stayed a little longer to give Sesshoumaru a peck on the cheek.

“Those two need to work on their language. Why can't they be like you Sesshoumaru?”

“That's what makes them unique mother.”

His `mother', actually his stepmother entered the kitchen and sat down with her stepson. She had long black hair and violet eyes. She was wearing a long black skirt with a purple button up top. She grabbed an apple and started eating.

“Who can blame them? After all they got it from their father.”

“I heard that Izayoi.” A man also came in. The children got their striking resemblance from him. He looked like a combination of Sesshoumaru and InuYasha. He was a full-fledged dog demon. He was wearing black slacks and a white button up shirt. He leaned over to give her a kiss.

“But it's true father. They do act like you after all.”

“Oh no not you too Sesshoumaru.” His father said with a groan and that made the other two chuckle. Sesshoumaru got up.

“I'm going for my morning exercise. Later.” And he was out.

“Bye Sesshoumaru, take care.” Izayoi said. She turned to her husband.

“InuTaisho, do you think I'm being a good mother?” Her reply was a hug from the back.

“Yes you are. I can tell Sesshoumaru loves you and the other two as well”

Sesshoumaru's mother died while she was giving birth to him. His father later on found Izayoi in a coffee shop. The same thing that happened to Sesshoumaru and Rin happened to them as well. They got married and then had InuYasha and Azumi. Since the day Azumi was born, they had been inseparable. Suddenly, an alarm went off on the clock. It turned into a big screen TV when they were sure the coast was clear. Later on, Taisho spoke, saying, “Great dog demon is here. State your report.”

On the screen, seven couples appeared. Suddenly, a woman piped up.

“Hi Izzy!”

“Hey Saks! How's Miroku doing?”

“Oh he's good. Still being perverted like his father.”

“Hey! But that's what you love about me right?”

“See? Same looks, same personality.”

“Mushin, grow up will you?”

“What I can't help it Taisho. And neither can he.”

“Izzy how's Azumi?”

“She's great. I think our babies have got something going on”

“I know! They make the perfect couple.”

“Yeah Shippou really has something for her.”

“Darling, we have important business to attend to. You can fuss over the kids later.”

“OK… But I still think…”

“Kenai Higurashi, what's going on?”

“Kouga Sr. Has found a lead on Naraku.” There was sudden silence.

Ayumi Higurashi started saying, “You mean-“

“Yes, he knows where the jewels are” Kouga Sr. completed. “He wants to meet us face to face”

“I think it's a trap.”

“But we don't have a choice.” Shiori replied.

“The kids haven't completed their training” Izayoi said.

“And Kagome doesn't even know she's involved in something big” Kenai said.

“Luckily Azumi does” Ayame Sr. said.

“But she's so young. She's only 15 for Pete's sake.” Sakura said.

“But she has lived, and still does, and still will.” InuTaisho said. “I say we should go, if we do get in trouble, we'll have to leave it to them.”

“I agree. Kagome will have to know sooner or later.” Mushin said.

“You're right” Shiori Kitsune replied.

“Let's do this” Izayoi said. The others nodded.

Taisho finally spoke. “It's agreed. We'll go by midnight. Everyone leave notes for your kids. Tell them what's going on. Kagome is vulnerable now. They have to watch her and tell her when she's ready. Agreed?”

Everyone else said, “Alright.” After that, the clock went back to its normal shape. Taisho turned to his wife and a nasty smirk graced his features.

“Let's get our things ready and head off. The kids are about to go on a big ride”

“Yeah. Let's go” She replied with determination written all over her face followed by a mirrored smirk.

Taisho went towards a grandfather clock, pushed up a panel, and punched in a password. The clock moved sideways thereby letting them enter the secret passage. Once they disappeared, it slid back to its normal position…

Woah! That was long! Oh well. So here are the pairings for the story:

Rin/Sesshoumaru (my second fav.)

Shippou/Azumi

Kouga/Ayame

Naraku/Kikyou(sorry Kik. Lovers, she's gonna be acting like shit. There'll be serious bashing in her case. She's my least fav.)

There'll probably be places where they would be OOC (Out Of Character). Well pls read and review. Hope I did well for a prologue. See ya!
