"I will see you tomorrow Inuyasha!" Kagome said before she left the village.
"Are you sure you don't want me to walk you to the well?" He asked with concern. She never went to the well on her own before, why now?
"Yes, I need to think about some things alone before I leave this time." Kagome said. I need to think about you and what you mean to me she thought. I love you, but I can't wait around forever for you to say something. Uggh, he is so frustrating.
Inuyasha suddenly grabbed Kagome's hand and kissed it."Promise you will come back tomorrow Kagome?"
Surprised at this gesture of kindness Kagome promised Inuyasha things would be fine and she would see him tommorrow. As she was walking, little did she know Sesshamoru was following her with all his stealth. As Kagome was getting ready to jump into the well, Sesshamoru came up behind her and put his hand around her mouth. "Scream human and I will kill you here and now for your hanyou lover to find." He said harshly.
Oh my God, thought Kagome, what is Sesshoumaru doing? What am I going to do? How long will he keep me? He must be after the Testugia again. Oh no, Inuyasha will think I left him!!! INUYASHA!!!!! Kagome screamed in her head. Tears streamed down her face as she nodded to Sesshamoru she would not scream.
"Good." He said in his confident voice. "Grab your things now and hurry!"
Kagome grabbed all her stuff as fast as she could, crying and terrifyed of what Inuyasha's brother might do to her.
"Come." Sesshoumaru commanded as he held out his hand to her.
Kagome was afraid to go near him, in case he changed his mind about killing her just in spite of his brother. When he raised his voice and commanded her to come again, she took off into the woods not knowing what direction she was running until she tripped over a root and twisted her ankle.
"Oomph!" She said hitting the ground. She heard a harsh remark behind her and she knew that he had caught up to her. Why wouldn't he? He is a youkai after all... stupid stupid Kagome, she bereated herself.
"Stupid woman! What did you think you were doing?" He slapped her in the face. "You WILL listen to me and obey me, do you understand?!"
"Y..Yes...." Kagome stuttered. Don't cry, don't cry, but she couldn't help it. Between the slap and her now twisted ankle it was too much.
"Get up now. Stop your crying." He barked. He dragged her off the ground to her feet, but when he let her go she fell back down with a sound of pain. Looking at her foot, he noticed it was already bruising. Damn, he thought, she had to go and make things worse. Picking her up over his shoulder, he grabbed her bags in the other hand and took off full speed through the woods to his lair. Inuyasha would probably be wondering around there soon. The time he spent trying to get this woman to cooperate, he hoped his scent wasn't too noticeable and hoped his hanyou brother would think his woman had left him alone.

While Inuyasha walked, he thought a lot about Kagome. Did she know how many times he came to this well, waiting for her to show up? Well, it was only one night he reasoned. But why should he have to wait? He needed to tell her that he cared about her, not loved her, he would never tell her that because if he said it aloud it would be true and he couldn't bare her leaving to her own time when she became unhappy. Yet he did care about her, he wanted her to stay here with him, and maybe see if something could grow between them. She was a beautiful woman after all.
She was now 18 and had a 'birthday' only a few months ago. He never did understand what a birthday was. All he knew is it was some sort of celebration for her being older and she got lots of presents. He tried in his own pathetic way to give her a present by killing a strong youkai and giving her its claw for goodluck. She smiled, but also looked a little mad, asking him why he couldn't just pick her some wild flowers. He smirked. Thats one of the things he loved...err...cared about her for.
Reaching the well he sat and waited like he always did. Only twelve more hours to go according to the sun. He couldn't wait that long. Inuyasha jumped into the well to go into Kagome's time. When he stepped out, he jumped to Kagome's room. Not seeing her there he immediately looked for Souta. He was downstairs playing his 'playstation' on his 'TV'. He would never understand the world of the future. "Souta!" He said, scaring the poor boy."I'm sorry, where is Kagome?"
"Kagome?" repeated Souta." I am not sure, I don't think she was here today."
"What? She said she was coming home over 6 hours ago!" Inuyasha scolded.
"No, I have been home all day Inuyasha, and I haven't seen her. Sure she didn't visit friends before she left?" Souta replied.
"Uggh that woman! If you see her before I do, tell her that I am not coming tomorrow. Wait, don't tell her I was here! I will wait for her to come back tomorrow and tell her myself." Angrily Inuyasha stomped off and jumped back into the well.
I will go visit Sango and Miroku just in case she stopped to see them.

"Yes, er, No... is she here Sango?" He asked.
"No she isn't, I haven't seen her since yesterday, why do you ask? She was supposed to bring me back some medicine for what she calls 'morning sickness'. I swear Miroku cursed me is all." She laughed.
"She never went home according to her brother, said she might have come to see you before she left." Inuyasha was starting to get worried. Where is she? Did she leave me? Is she hurt?
"Miroku!" Sango yelled, "Have you seen Kagome today?"
Walking out with Kirara on his shoulder he replied, "No dearest Sango, I have not seen her or any woman since we got married." Gently he started rubbing Sango's behind. *SMACK*
"What did I tell you about that? I STILL do not like that even though we are married! And that wasn't what I meant by asking about Kagome! I meant HAVE YOU SEEN HER AT ALL TODAY?" She said slowly and hotly.
Rubbing his face with his perverted smirk, Miroku told Inuyasha and Sango he did not see Kagome since she was last there asking Sango how her pregnancy was.
Saying his goodbyes and frustrated as all hell, Inuyasha went off to the village to ask Kaede if Kagome said anything to her about seeing someone before she left. He knew it would not be Shippou because he was a good 8 hour walk away for Kagome, and she knew the dangers of being alone with all the youkai knowing she has the Shikon no Tama. Where was she? He was worried about her and scared that she had left him. She was acting all strange before she left today, maybe that was why she didn't want him to go with. She was leaving him! She promised to come back! Sitting down on the ground Inuyasha felt anger, but saddness at the same time. First his father, then his mother, Kikyo, now Kagome. He sighed and stared up at the stars before dreaming about his Kagome and what she meant to him.

Meanwhile in Sesshoumaru's lair, Kagome was gaining conciousness again. She managed to faint after being thrown hard over his shoulder. As she tried to focus on her surroundings she realized she was on a very comfortable bed. Why after the way she was treated, would he put her on a bed? A dungeon maybe, but a bed? She was so confused, her ankle and face hurt, and worse off she was so hungry! Trying to get up off the bed she heard a door open.
"Thinking of leaving woman?" Sesshoumaru said quietly. "I brought you your bag and some company. Rin! Come in here and talk with Kagome while I hunt."
"Kagome!" Rin said happily and rushed to her side. "Sesshoumaru said you would be coming! I am so glad you wanted to see me!"
Kagome looked apprehensively at Sesshoumaru, he stared at her and shook his head in a firm way telling her without words, that Rin did not need to know how she came here by force. Hugging Rin to her, Kagome wondered why Sesshoumaru could be so mean to her and then so nice to another? It was probably because she was with Inuyasha all the time, so she was the enemy.
Seeing that Rin would be fine with Kagome, Sesshoumaru left quietly and instructed Jaken not to let Kagome or Rin out of his site. "Yes Sesshoumaru-sama!" Jaken said with promise. Sesshoumaru is so kind and stong, what does he want with these human girls? Jaken thought. Well, he is wise and will have a plan. I, Jaken cannot tell him differently. Looking in on the two girls, Rin saw Jaken and asked him to come in.
"Jaken, this is Kagome! She came to visit me! She hurt her foot walking here, can you help it Jaken, please?" Rin pleaded.
"Sesshoumaru-sama said nothing of tending a woman's foot, Rin. She will be fine on her own." Jaken said sternly.
"Rin it will be okay, in my bag I have a medicine to take away the pain, and a piece of cloth to wrap my ankle up. You could help me though if you want. There might be some candy and toys left in there from when I saw Shippou." Kagome said. Rin grabbed up the bag with a hurry and gave it to Kagome. After wrapping up her foot and taking 2 asprin, Kagome found a chocolate bar for Rin to eat.
"Mmm, this is so good Kagome, what is it called again?" Rin questioned.
"Chocolate, Rin. It is good huh?"
"Yes it is. Can I give some to Sesshoumaru when he comes back with dinner?"
Kagome thought about this, but figured, why take away the girl's fun. Whatever did she see in him anyway? "Sure Rin, you can give some to him, when he comes home. Now why don't you be a good girl and go play, I want to take a nap, I have had a long day."

"I will ask questions woman. This is how it will be, you need not fear me as long as you obey me. You will be free to spend time with Rin whenever you wish, unless I ask you to be with me. Understood?" He commanded.

"I want you. You will be mother to Rin, and to our future children. You will be my mate. Simple as that. Understand? If you do not obey me, or try to hurt Rin, I will kill you." Sesshoumaru said with deadly conviction.

With that said he grabbed her by her hair and kissed her with force. Trying to push him off turned out to be ineffective. He only persisted in bending her will to his. Finally Kagome gave up to his demand, it wasn't so unpleasant, just shocking because she did not want her first kiss to be from Inuyasha's brother, she wanted it to be from Inuyasha! Releasing her with as much force that he started with, Kagome fell backwards to the bed, eyes wide with fear at what he would do next.
Sesshoumaru smirked at the woman on the bed. Leaning down next to her, he turned her face towards him. Noticing the bruise from when he slapped her, he frowned. "You will have Jaken treat this. I do not want my mate marred in any way. As for these clothes, you will take them off now, and change into something more appropriate for a woman of your station."
When he left, Kagome quickly changed in fear he would walk in on her naked. Sitting on the bed, Jaken knocked on the door and entered with a tray of food, and some herbs for her face. After he made sure she ate accordingly to Sesshoumaru's instructions, and her face treated he left her to sleep. Before he closed the door he let her know, "Sesshoumaru-sama will be in shortly. Try to look happy for Rin's sake tomorrow, he told her you just agreed to be her new mother." With that he closed the door, and Kagome cried.
