What is happening? Everything is dark here but I can still hear everything around me yet the light and sound is dimming from my senses. My body aches in pain right now-I can't move at all I feel something draining from me. Wait the light is to far I can't see it anymore. Then is this the end of it? Yeah I guess it is, but I don't want it to. I still need to finish it; I need to repent for what I've done for them. I need to burry them I need to, I don't know what I need to anymore. I guess I just need life, the best gift of all.

Rin ran down the field of flower laughing joyfully," Yay! Jaken! Sesshoumaru! Look at me!"

Sesshoumaru sat below the cherry tree his back against the tree bark. He wore a blank face looking out to the cloudless sky. He had a strange feeling that day, a power burst occurred he knew no doubt his brother was dead then due to the flow of energy sent his way from his deceased family member. His thoughts occasionally wandered to the sword that he would now be in possession, but it didn't repeat it wasn't the right time. Rin then screeched loudly making him jump. Jaken yelled following," Master!"

He ran toward his ward and his servant only to stop with full brakes seeing a clearing dark aura filled miasma. He took a step foreword," Naraku has been destroyed."

Jaken yelled in disbelief," Who could have done this to bring such a horrific setting? Do you think this is the work of Inuyasha Master?"

Rin gripped Sesshoumaru's leg fearfully with the feeling drifting from that area. Sesshoumaru put a hand on her head," Rin be calm. Jaken take Rin, Au and Un and return to the castle. I shall follow soon-also be ready to prepare a room next to mine. I feel me maybe having a guest coming for a stay very soon."

Jaken nodded instantly then dragged Rin with him, as she remained silent knowing not to argue with the all mighty Lord of the West. Sesshoumaru began walking toward the area to see the miko be had once before had an encounter with. His brother laid farther away with his other comrades' closer to him then the girl she seemed to be the outcast. He walked toward her to see her holding the sword in her hand it's sheath stabbed into the tree. The girl's hair flared over her face and 3ft around her. Her clothes torn yet covering her more "private areas" then the others which showed scratches, bruises, slashes, and burns. She held no look of pain in her face though. He bent down to her yet a like caught his eye he looked down to the Shikon no Tama clasped in her hand blood smeared over it beating with a dark aura. The strong lord stood up and without thinking unsheathed his tensugia and swung a flash of light occurring. In a matter of seconds she burst up grasping for air," Naraku!"

He was confused with her outburst yet kept the stone face intact," Miko, so we meet again on different terms."

She jumped back still gripping the jewel," Sesshoumaru?! What happened? Where is that basterd Naraku?!"

Sesshoumaru kept the face then spoke solemnly," he is dead it seems you and your comrades destroyed him."

She turned quickly then covered her mouth in complete shock," No! Inuyasha, Sango, Shippo, Kirara, Miroku!"

Kagome ran toward Inuyasha collapsing on his chest in tears. She wept and wept not really caring that Sesshoumaru was standing now behind her overlooking her like a hawk. Even though she couldn't contain it. She spoke below a whisper," I'm sorry-all of you I failed you. I just wasn't strong enough, I tried to kill him and stand to conquer but hey beat me. I had to use everything. I had to use all of my power, even my life source."

He cut in to her," Stop your pointless tears girl, Naraku is dead and now you remain walking stop acting as though you lost."

She stood up breathing as though trying to handle her temper. She then walked away from him punching a whole into the ground making it in a long row. Sesshoumaru stopped in amazement by her spirit control and how this human who hid behind his half-breed brother could possess un-human-like power such as this. She was possibly even stronger then Inuyasha. She then turned to Inuyasha and one by one put them to their grave with Sesshoumaru watching. She then moved back," Should I burry them? Or, should I leave? Should I leave this all behind and end it like this?"

Sesshoumaru yelled," Girl I have business with you!"

" Don't order me around like a servant Sir Lord of the Western Lands! You may of revived me from such a death and I am grateful do not get me wrong but that doesn't mean I'll just bark and roll at order!"

He yelled agitated," If you are so grateful then why don't you stop defying me. I may return you to your death again."

Kagome spoke to him mocking and amusing herself with him," Eh? Geniuses are we, the top man? But then why revive me to only kill me again?"

He slammed her against the closest tree his hand on her shoulder to hold her in place," Do you mock me girl?! I shall return you to death in a heartbeat."

She responded no fear in her voice or eyes," Then why aren't I departed yet?"

He then took out his other sword ready to place it to her neck why she grabbed the tetsugia slamming it against his sword as he continued to hold her in place. She turned moving to the side blocking low and high then stopping holding stance," Why did you save me Sesshoumaru? It isn't like me living brings much of a difference."

"Maybe it was impulse! Your life returning would have brought some pain in your existence, maybe that was my drift."

Kagome jumped back then ran toward him as he did also she blocked to the side and aimed down the middle as he blocked high and went to the side. She held it to the side," So let me live while I am actually dead then grant my wish of death. You truly have no heart Sesshoumaru or maybe you just glaze it over with ice unknown to us."

He pushed the blade in front of her so she would be the one to block. He pushed foreword then walked taking a step over and over again responding," You don't know me how would you know?"

She then jumped over him and stopped sheathing the untransformed Tetsugia then threw it before him," There is your sword Lord Sesshoumaru as a thanks for my rebirth."

She bowed as he sheathed his sword in shock then walked toward her right as she stood staring at him. He was silent which made her eerie. She cleared her throat looking away," Not to be rude or start another argument but could you respond I don't like the tension in this silence."

He responded," You are to come with me girl."

She turned to him as he walked past her the other way. She ran after him," Excuse me?! You can't just order me around right off the bat! I have you know!"

" Have me know what girl?!"

She poked him in the chest," First of all my name is Kagome! I hope that I won't need to spell it out for you! Number Two I don't follow your orders I recall saying that before! Number Three-"

He cut her off by punching her lightly in the gut as she fell to the ground into his arms. He sighed calmly," Silence."

He then lifted her up and began walking away.

Kagome woke up about two hours later on a soft warm bed a wool blanket over her with at least twelve pillows under her head. The sheets were silk and the pillows were embroidered, silk and cotton. Got up there were drapes tied to each of the four polls. There was a balcony right north of her with glass doors opened as velvet curtains pulled to the side. She stood up calmly getting out of bed looking around," Where am I?"

She got out of bed seeing her clothing. She wore a light blue kimono with a dark blue obi and bell flower sleeves. There were snow flakes on her kimono with a ribbon next to the bed on a bed post. She bent down and picked it up putting her hair in a bun. As she began investigating she remembered what happened. She gasped," That stupid jerk! Hey knocked me out?!"

She flared with energy when the door opened she turned yet her anger froze as she saw Rin. She smiled," Rin."

Rin ran toward her," Lady Kagome?! What are you doing here?!"

She smiled," Sesshoumaru brought me here, I don't know why but I think I might be staying here a while."

Rin smiled brightly hugging her tightly," Rin is so happy Lady Kagome is staying here with me! I have missed you dearly. Jaken has not made it any better for me. He is quite melancholy at times."

Kagome laughed the picked her up setting her on the bed," So Rin tell me how have you been? Happy, sad? I too have been quite sad though I have been very worried for you. Last time you were so shaken up Rin."

" Yes, but now I am better I feel better also but even better now that you are here Kagome."

She smiled as Sesshoumaru then walked in. Kagome looked up then glared. She made the glare disappear then turned to Rin," Rin why don't you go have fun I'll meet up with you if I can later on."

She nodded leaving in a run as Kagome stood their Sesshoumaru looked to her," Kagome."

She sat down," Sesshoumaru."

He walked toward her calmly holding the tetsugia in question," Why did you give this to me?"

She looked to the sword," Because- I have no use for it. I am not of your blood Inuyasha was so I inherit it to you. What property brings you to thinking that I would possibly have an need for it."

He lifted it to her," Maybe because in our battle you used it will to defend yourself."

Kagome looked up to the ceiling then overlapped her legs asking confused to him," Are you complimenting me?"

He shrugged as she laughed looking away. She then yawned lying back as he sat down," Kagome right?"

She nodded as he then continued," I wish you to take something into thinking."

"Thinking? What is it?"

He answered," Being a mother for Rin."

She almost burst," What?! Like you wife?!"

" More like mate but yes."

She yelled out hurting his ears while standing on the bed," WHAT?! Are you serious?! We have been enemies for like ever will not personally but anyway I can't just say yes off the bat like that! To that kind of question!"

He then flipped her over so he was on top. She had her hands to his chest attempting to push him off but he was stiff. She questioned," What are you doing?"

He sent chilling breathes along her neckline as she shivered from spine down. He then traced down her side, she groaned then snapped back pushing him off this time full force managing to get off the bed," You are just plain nuts Sesshoumaru! It might be the power or the heat I don't know but you have just blown a casket!"

He smirked to her," But you enjoyed it I could tell."

She blushed furiously moving back as he thought to himself, these humans and their emotions are hilarious. It flashes over their face so comically.

He then stood up lifting her chin toward him and sliding his lips past her leaving the room. She put her hand to her heart sitting on the bed in shock," On a second hand I might of lost it."
