Two Loves, One Choice

A/N: Kagome is a young woman whose career as a singer is on the up and coming. She makes her break through after writing and recording two different songs about the two very different men in her life. Kagome and Inuyasha have a very on again off again affair since Inuyasha can't seem to completely let go of his ex girlfriend Kikyo. Kagome's world changes when she meets a very important and handsome older man that happens to be very well known in the music industry. I will be using the song Pieces of Me by Ashlee Simpson and My Happy Ending by Avril Lavigne. Take a guess which song I'm using to describe Kag and Inu's romance and which one I'm using to describe her feelings towards Sesshy! I still do not own Inuyasha so there!

Prologue:

Kagome sat with one long shapely leg dangling absently from the pewter colored cushion covering the smooth wood of her studio apartment's window seat. Looking out the large bay window her blue gray eyes shifted upwards to the large silvery white moon. It almost resembled a pearl as it hung there perfectly against the dark violet night sky. Sighing loudly Kagome returned her attention back to her green notebook that was sprawled across her lap.

She was currently working on her newest song and so far it was proving to be exceptionally well flowing even though the source of her inspiration had come from her heart being broken by unforeseen tragedy. Kagome angrily scratched her pen across the paper as her wounded soul screamed out her raging emotions. She found that she usually wrote her best songs when she was incredibly angry or happy or sad. At the moment the raven haired young woman felt as if her heart had been torn into tiny pieces and would never be able to be pieced back together.

Her grandfather had unexpectedly passed away early that morning from a sudden and very severe heart attack. Her blue gray eyes glistened and burned with fresh tears that were desperately trying to escape. She was currently working on a song that culminated her feelings for her grandfather. A knock on the door startled her and made the tip of her pen slip across the paper. "Shit!" She muttered under her breath as she tossed her pen and notebook onto the window seat.

Kagome padded over to the door and glanced out the small peep hole before answering it. Opening the door wide she leaned on it casually not really caring that at the moment she was only clad in a burnt orange tee shirt with the words University of Texas written across it in white letters and a pair of silky white bikini styled panties. Her gorgeous boyfriend of nearly three years smirked at her choice of clothing as he sauntered into the dimly lit studio apartment. Inuyasha allowed Kagome to close the door and lock it behind him before placing an open mouthed kiss on her exposed neck since her long ebony tresses were piled high atop her head in a messy ponytail.

Her cheeks became flushed at Inuyasha's forwardness. "Nice shirt Kags."

"Oh um yeah, you left it over here. I was meaning to give it back to you Yash."

"That's okay, keep it. It looks better on you anyway baby." She grinned broadly as her slender fingers grasped the bottom of her shirt as she contemplated whether she should say what was going through her mind. "So how are you Kagome?" She stared at him with a confused look etched on her face.

"I…I'm okay really, why?"

"Well when you called and left me a message earlier you sounded really emotional babe." Kagome's blue gray eyes widened as she suddenly remembered leaving the tear filled message that was mostly broken sentences that were hard to piece together from all the sobs that cut through them. She had almost forgotten even leaving that pitiful sounding message on his machine since she had started working on her new song.

"Oh yeah that…about that message, I'm really sorry for bothering you. I was just upset and had to get it out and I didn't know what else to do. Then I decided to write a song and it was helping."

"Are you okay now?" Kagome frowned as she decided of a way to change the subject. At the moment she really did not want to discuss her hurt feelings over her grandfather's passing. Nodding she grabbed the bottom of her tee shirt.

"You know I could give the shirt back to you right now since you're here and I'm thinking about it?" Inuyasha raised a brow his interest piqued at Kagome's sudden change of subject. His amber eyes grew wide as Kagome pulled the tee shirt up over her body and tossed it at him. "There you go Yash, it's all yours."

He tossed the shirt to the floor seemingly uninterested in it as his eyes swept over Kagome's milky white flesh. She stood before him now clad in only her silky white panties. "Kagome you're not… uh….not"

She grinned as she crept up to where her stood. "Not wearing a bra? Yeah I know baby, you like?"

"Oh I definitely like! Can I touch you?"

"Please Yash?" Inuyasha carefully slipped his hands up Kagome's toned flat stomach until his fingertips rested on the underside of her pert velvety smooth breasts. He paused not really sure if he should go any further. They had been together periodically for nearly three years and still they had yet to have sex.

Kagome had been nearly raped by one of her friend's stepbrothers at a sleepover. She had been only sixteen at the time and it had terrified her. The reality of nearly being raped had traumatized Kagome so greatly that she had developed a severe fear of intimacy as a result. "Inuyasha, why did you stop?"

"Are you sure you're comfortable Kags? I mean I can stop if you change your mind." Kagome smiled at his concern for her comfort at the situation. Right now she needed to have her mind taken away from the terrible grief of her grandfather's death. And quite frankly Kagome couldn't think of a better reason to allow Inuyasha to make love to her for the first time.

"Yes Yash, please?" He nodded and picked her up in his arms carrying her bridal style over towards the bed. Kagome felt Inuyasha gently lay her down on the bed and stare down at her as she lay beneath him.

"God you're so beautiful Kagome Higurashi!" Her cheeks instantly burst into flames from her intense blush. She watched as Inuyasha toed off his tennis shoes and kicked them a little ways away from the bed. Then he pulled off his red polo shirt and white undershirt to reveal his hard washboard chest and stomach. Her eyes followed his fingers as they slid down to grasp his belt buckle. His thick fingers expertly unclasped the belt and then worked on the button and zipper. When he had unfastened them both he slipped the blue jeans off his hips and down his muscular legs. Kagome stared at her gorgeous boyfriend as he stood there in his red white and black plaid boxers and white socks.

He was the most gorgeous thing she had ever seen. Sure she had seen him like this before but it didn't take away from the excitement of seeing him standing before her now. Inuyasha pulled off his socks and tossed them over by his shoes and then he hooked his thumbs underneath the waistband of his boxers. Kagome watched as he slid them off his hips to reveal his achingly hard erection that sprung up to brush against his lower abdomen. Inuyasha crawled onto the bed next to Kagome and slid his large hands up her thighs until they rested on her hips. She looked up at him as he played with the thin straps of her bikini styled panties.

Inuyasha raised his brows as if asking her permission to take off her panties. Kagome nodded silently and raised her hips to help him. He slipped the silky undergarments off her hips and down her milky white thighs. Once they were both naked Kagome and Inuyasha sat cross legged facing each other. "Are you okay Kagome?"

"Yeah so far. Do you have protection Yash?"

"Yeah baby, I have a condom in my wallet." He slipped off the bed and grabbed his jeans. Reaching into his back pocket he grabbed his wallet and pulled out the black foil wrapped condom. Kagome smiled nervously as Inuyasha joined her on the bed now holding the condom. "Listen Kags, if you're scared we don't have to do this. There's other things we can do without having to have sex."

"Like what?" He smirked as he pushed her back down on the bed. Kagome leaned up on her elbows and stared up at him in confusion.

"Open your legs." Blushing profusely she opened her legs and felt Inuyasha lay in between them . Her blue gray eyes grew wide as she watched him lower his head between her milky thighs.

'Oh my God, he's not going to do what I think he is! He wouldn't would he?' Her question was answered as she felt Inuyasha's warm wet tongue slip in between her silky folds. 'Oh God, he would!' Inuyasha began flicking his tongue across Kagome's little bundle of nerves making her writhe beneath him. Small moans and mewing sounds were escaping her partially opened mouth as he continued to explore her body with his mouth. "Mmm..Yash! Don't stop!" She felt like a knot was coiling itself as tight as it could in the pit of her stomach.

Then with one final flick of Inuaysha's tongue Kagome fisted her hands in his long thick silvery hair and clamped her thighs on either side of his head as the knot quickly unraveled. Her muscles clenched and convulsed of their own accord causing a warm sticky nectar to gush from her passage. Inuyasha lapped up the sweet nectar that was pouring from Kagome's body. "How was that baby?"

"Oh God it was incredible!" When he reached for the condom he noticed how she seemed to tense.

"Kag, do you want to stop?"

"I'm sorry Yash, it's just I'm not really sure I'm ready for that. I'm so sorry, please don't be mad at me?"

"I'm not mad baby, I understand. Look I'm gonna go in the bathroom and take care of my uh situation here okay?"

"Sorry Yash." He waved his hand at her as if dismissing the whole thing as no big deal. Kagome watched as he padded naked into the bathroom. He really was a beautiful man and she was sure that when she was ready to have sex she wanted him to be her first. He left the bathroom door open and she could easily see him stand before the toilet placing one arm on the wall in front of him to keep his balance. The other quickly found it's way to his throbbing erection that was now pulsing with his need for release. She watched as he began to expertly pump his cock in his hand small grunts of satisfaction escaping his clenched jaw as he neared his goal. Kagome grinned to herself when she heard him grunt out her name as his seed spilled into the toilet.

Walking back out into the bedroom after he had finished up he saw that Kagome was now laying beneath the sheets still naked. "Aren't you going to put your clothes back on Kags?"

"Nope. Stay with me tonight Yash?" He nodded as he went to turn off the light in the living room. Kagome watched as Inuyasha walked over to the window seat where her notebook was laying. She leapt from the bed not caring about her nakedness and grabbed the notebook from the seat before he could grab it.

"Kagome?"

"Don't, it's my notebook that I write down all my song ideas in. You can't read it." He shrugged his broad shoulders and watched as she put the notebook in her desk and locked the drawer so he couldn't snoop while she was asleep. Grabbing his hand she led him back towards the bed turning off the light as she walked past. "Sorry Yash, it's nothing personal I just don't let anyone read my songs."

"It's okay, I understand. Let's go to bed babe." Kagome pulled Inuyasha into bed beside her and curled up against him her bare flesh pressed flush against his own. The two easily fell asleep holding each other tightly.
