A couple hand in hand, walked out a restaurant and strolled down the street, they laughed and talked. The man pulled his girlfriend into the park and held her closer. She blushed and hugged him, she looked at the tree's they were a beautiful orange and red.

“I love this time of year!” She said and took a deep breath. The man smiled at her and kissed her lips. The couple came to a bench covered by a big tree, a pond with little fish sat right by the tree.

“Kagome I need to talk to you,” The man said and she nodded and sat on the bench.

“Ok, so what do you want to talk about?” Kagome asked and looked up at her boyfriend. His long black ponytail blew in the wind and he touched the tree.

“Kagome do you know what tree this is?” He asked and smiled sweetly.

“Of course I do, this is the Sacred Tree! Why do you ask Koga?” Kagome asked and looked at him.

“It was the most beautiful thing in the park before you walked in,” Koga said and went in front of Kagome. She blushed and looked away, Koga held her chin to look at him. “Kagome can I ask you something?” Koga asked.

“Sure honey what is it?” Kagome looked worried at him,

Koga got down on one knee and pulled out a small black box, “Kagome Higurashi, I love you! I want to spend the rest of my life with you! Will you marry me?”

Tears welled up in Kagome's eyes and she hugged him, “I love you too! Of course I'll marry you Koga!” Kagome said. Koga smiled widely and broke the hug and then he showed her the ring. “Koga it's beautiful!” Kagome said and he put it on her finger. They kissed passionately under the tree.

Inuyasha sat in his office and looked out his window, 3 weeks till Thanksgiving, he thought when he saw all the orange trees outside. He sipped his coffee and looked at the clock, 15:47. He quickly grabbed his keys and ran outside. He got in his car and drove to a fancy looking elementary school, a little boy was waiting on the curb and he got in the car when it stopped.

“Your late… Again!” he said and he looked angry.

“Sorry Shippo, I forgot! I didn't have to pick up a kid from school before!” He said angrier. He drove off in the direction of his house.

“Well then maybe you should send me to Sesshomaru!” Shippo yelled.

“Sessh is busy with his girlfriend! He doesn't have time to watch over his little brother!” He argued.

“Neither do you,” Shippo said under his breath.

“I heard that! I took you in after mom and dad died and I'm taking care of you now!” Inuyasha said. Shippo looked sad after Inuyasha mentioned their parents and they were both silent after that. Inuyasha drove up to his big house and parked in the driveway. Shippo jumped out and ran to the house, Inuyasha sighed and followed him inside. As soon as he walked in he saw his maid Kaede holding a crying Shippo, Kaede shook his head at Inuyasha.

Inuyasha walked over to Shippo and got down to his level, “Shippo, I'm sorry,” Inuyasha said. Shippo looked at him, tears were flowing out of his eyes. Shippo jumped into Inuyasha's arms and cried. Inuyasha held his little brother until he stopped crying.

“Inuyasha why did they have to die? All the kids pick on me at my new school! I miss them!” Shippo said and started crying again.

“I promise things will get better, But in until then, maybe I should hire someone to take care of you when I'm not around,” Inuyasha said.

“What about Nanny Kaede?” Shippo asked.

“She's too old to be running after you! Don't worry I'll hire someone,” Inuyasha said

“Kagome! I can't believe your getting married!” Kagome's friends Sango screams and hugs her.

“Sango It's been a week already? Hasn't it sunk in yet?” Kagome asked giggled.

“No, I still can't believe it!” Sango said.

Kagome looks at her wristwatch, “Oh, Sango I'm sorry I need to go meet Koga for some wedding planning. We're thinking about a spring wedding!” Kagome said happily.

“It's ok go on and live happily with you fiancé while I die alone!” Sango joked.

“You'll find the right guy, don't worry about it! I'll see you later!” Kagome said and waved goodbye to her friend.

Kagome walked a couple blocks to her wedding planers. She saw Koga across the street and she waved. When she wasn't paying attention she bumped into someone.

“Ow!” She yelled and the man dropped his brief case and his papers fell out. “Oh my god! I'm so sorry let me help!” She said and helped him pick up his stuff.

“Maybe next time you should watch where you're going!” He said grumpily.

Kagome looked over were Koga was he quickly crossed the street to help.

“Kagome are you alright?” Koga asked.

“Yeah I'm fine,” Kagome said and gave the man his papers.

“Thanks,” He said and put them in his brief case.

They both got up, “I'm Kagome Higurashi,” Kagome said and held out her hand.

He ignored it, “Inuyasha Tetsusaiga, and you are?” He said to Koga.

“I'm Koga Urufuzu,” He said. Koga grabbed Kagome's waist.

“Thank you for crashing into my fiancé!” Koga said sarcastically.

“The way I she was looking at you when she crashed into me!” Inuyasha said in his face.

“Just apologize to her!” Koga yelled.

“I think I'll pass, see you!” Inuyasha said and walked off.

“Koga it was my fault,” Kagome said after he left.

“Kagome don't let guys like him push you around!” Koga said and Kagome nodded.

At the next red light Koga and Kagome crossed the street. They were in the middle of the street when Koga looked and saw a car coming right at them. Koga pushed Kagome out of the way, but now Koga was right in the way of the car. Then someone came and tackled Koga out of the way. Kagome looked shocked at what happened, then she realized she was still in the street and ran to the sidewalk. She looked around for Koga, and then she saw him across the street with Inuyasha. She ran back across the street to see if Koga was okay.

“Koga! Is he hurt?” Kagome asked Inuyasha.

Inuyasha rubbed his head and looked a Koga. Koga's eyes were closed and it looked like he hit his head. Kagome got on her knees by Koga and put his head on her lap. People gathered around them and some of them were call 911. Kagome checked his pulse and he had a heartbeat. He was still alive.

“Are you alright?” Kagome asked Inuyasha.

Inuyasha stood up and brushed off his coat, “I'm fine, how's your guy?”

Kagome looked down at Koga, “He's still breathing and he has a heart beat but he's out cold.” Kagome tried to stay calm but tears fell from her eyes.

While Kagome waited for the ambulance Inuyasha made a call. Soon the ambulance came and took Koga, Kagome, and Inuyasha to the hospital. Kagome had insisted that Inuyasha get check out. After they came to the hospital Kagome got a couple cuts cleaned then waited for Inuyasha and Koga. Kagome had called Sango to come to the hospital. She was waiting in the waiting room when she heard footsteps.

“Koga?” Kagome looked but Inuyasha stood in front of her. “Oh, its you… is anything wrong?”

“No, nothings wrong with me. What about you?” Inuyasha asked and sat next to her.

Kagome sniffed, “No, just cuts and bruises,” a tear fell from her eye.

Inuyasha looked at a bandage on her face, “I'm sure your fiancé is ok,” Inuyasha said. Inuyasha looked at the clock, he had to pick Shippo soon.

“Is something wrong?” Kagome asked and looked at Inuyasha.

“No, I just have to do something soon,” Inuyasha said.

“Inuyasha? That's your name right?” Inuyasha nodded, “I never thanked you for saving Koga. He might be dead right now if you didn't push him out of the way.” Kagome looked at him a smiled sweetly, “But he might be dead now.” Kagome began to cry again.

A doctor came into the waiting room and came up to Kagome and Inuyasha. “Are you Koga's fiancé?” He asked.

Kagome nodded and Inuyasha and Kagome stood up. “Is he okay?” Kagome asked and cleared her tears.

“Koga is ok. When he fell he hit his head and now he's in a coma. That means that he is basically a sleep.” The doctor explained and Kagome nodded.

“When is he going to wake up?” Kagome asked.

“We don't know. it could be days, weeks, months before he wakes up.” The doctor said.

“Months? We're supposed to get married in the spring? Will he be awake by then?” Kagome asked.

“We don't know, all we know is that it wont be for a while.” The doctor said, “Do you want to see him?” Kagome nodded and the doctor motioned her to follow him.

She looked at Inuyasha, “Are you coming?” Kagome asked.

“I'll pass, I have to go.” Inuyasha said.

“Come later though, please?” Kagome said.

Inuyasha nodded then he waved goodbye. Kagome waved back and left with the doctor, He led her into a room where Koga was. Koga was shocked to see him hooked up to many machines. Kagome walked next to him and touched his face.

“I'll leave you two alone,” The doctor said and left.

“Koga?” Kagome said. Kagome saw someone run past the room. Sango burst through the door.

“Kagome are you okay?” Sango saw Koga in the bed. “Oh my God! What happened?”

“I'll tell you later, right know I need a cup of coffee,” Sango nodded and followed Kagome to the cafeteria.

Kagome sat down and thought about things, is the wedding off? Should I call the wedding planer? I don't know what to do! Kagome cursed herself.

“Kagome? Here's your coffee,” Sango held a coffee to her and Kagome took it. Sango sat down next to her and rubbed her back. “So tell me what happened,”

Kagome took a deep breath and explained everything to Sango, the crash with Inuyasha, the car, Koga saving her, then Inuyasha saving Koga. Kagome began to cry again and Sango hugged her. “I want to see him.” Kagome said and they headed to Koga's room.
