InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Undeclaired ❯ Dream ( Chapter 1 )
The incense burned thickly, the smell causing the villagers to take a step back. InuYasha lay on the ground fighting off nausea. He tried to move away, but even the slightest movement made him queasy.
`Damn,' he thought sourly, `I should have remembered what happened last time.' He watched as the bird-demon was lured into the sky away from the cleansing smell.
`Why do we always have to help people?' he wondered scowling. He looked up just in time to see Kagome slay the demon with a glowing arrow. In that instant she looked again like Kikyo, and he was reminded of the promise he had once made to her. He tired to stand as Kagome turned staring at him, but he fell over feeling uncontrollably sick.

Kagome sat with InuYasha's head on her lap, feeling like she had done this before. She rubbed InuYasha's back in soothing circles and asked,
"Are you going to be okay, InuYasha?" He moaned in discomfort, for a reply.
Miroku looked over at the babied dog-demon.
"InuYasha, it seems, though you have a strong physic, you have a weak stomach." When InuYasha sent him a warning look, he only smiled. Kagome smiled secretly to herself. `InuYasha puts up so many fronts, but he's such a kid when it come to stomach aches' she thought. She kept rubbing his back gently, and soon he was fighting off sleep.
"Kikyo…!" InuYasha screamed at the retreating figure. She turned, and he paled as he realized it wasn't Kikyo; It was Kagome. He ran after her, and she looked at him with sad eyes that looked so dark, he thought he would never see their shining light again. He felt a desperation so deep in his heart. He had to hold her, help her, had to make her happy again. She turned away from him disappearing into a thick fog. He yelled frantically for her to stop, but she was gone. InuYasha began to run after her, but arms held him back. He turned trying to see who it was. He gasped; it was Kikyo.
"You are mine InuYasha," she said, her voice thick with scorn. She laughed evilly, and held up a necklace to him. His looked from it to Kikyo and back, with growing anger. His eyes widened, it was the necklace he had given Kagome to hold her jewel shard, and it was covered in her blood.

InuYasha woke with a start. His eyes were unfocused, and for a second her didn't know where he was. When his vision steadied, he saw he was still in the little hut from that afternoon, and it was dark. He raised his head, and looked around. His sword was by his side, the other's belongings had been pushed aside into a corner. He looked down and realized he had been lying on Kagome's stomach. She lay on her back, her hair was slightly ruffled, and her face was peaceful. His eyes roamed over her sleeping form. Her shirt was raised a bit where he had been sleeping, and he reveled in the sight of the smooth creamy skin underneath. He looked up sharply as his name fell from her lips, then looked around the room again. He noticed Sango and Miroku weren't around but he couldn't care too long, it wasn't his job to look after those two. Shippo lay curled at Kagome's other side, under a small blanket. InuYasha leaned down hesitantly, then lightly kissed her. He moved away pausing to look at her beautiful face. He smiled devilishly, at the smile that curled across her peach-tinted lips, then laid back down on her stomach. He breathed in her warm sweet scent, and fell asleep to the soft sound of her breathing.

Yeah, yeah I know it sucks. But hey at least you can't say I never finished anything. ^.- I have absolutely no plans of taking this further(maybe) so If anyone would like to, PLZ ask first. I don't like when people steal stories from others. On that note I hope I haven't stolen anyone's story. Scout's honor I thought up all my stories myself (But I did steal the characters. Sorry).
Disclaimer: Sadly I don't own InuYasha. Don't sue me I just spent all my money on this new laptop.
