Ch.8 Getting Comfy

Inuyasha couldn't sleep no matter what he did. The taste, feel, and aroma of Kagome hung around him and he felt he would never be able to get her out of his system. Not that he cared for her, he just hasn't been near a woman in such a way. Sexual desire was controlling him and he only lusted for Kagome. Her being near him and a virgin was all that made him feel this way, nothing more. They had been on the copmuter until it turned dark, yet Kagome stood awake when he thought it was best to sleep. Not up to agrueing after what had happened, he went straight to bed without a care. They had found that Naraku used to work with Finrell, partners they were until Finrell's father died leaving Kagome to be his only family. Naraku was pissed when Finrell took over headquarters, saying he was most fitted for the job. Outraged by the turn of events, Naraku hired Kikyo to kill Finrell, but things did not go as planned. Finrell got word of this attack on his life and made his number one agent, Inuyasha, take care of it. Finrell knew if Naraku couldn't have him he'd go for his heart, Kagome. Thats the reason Inuyasha was stuck with her now. Funny how a few codes and a couple hours of searching could find. The last report was of where Naraku was last seen, the Suzaki Club. Inuyasha and Kagome are going there tomorrow, thats if he could get some sleep!

Kagome wondered once again through the house, a picture of Naraku in her hands. Thoughts plagued her, leaving her in a state of distress. Why did her uncle have to take the case? Sure he was Naraku's parnter but it did not seem fit for a man of his age to go prancing around like he was younge and up for any challenge. She worried over him and his safty, but then her thoughts traveled to a more confusing matter. While on the computer it seemed Inuyasha was getting bored. He began to run his nails against her legs as a means of some enjoyment. When she had stopped his wondering hand he gave out a snort and rested both hands out on the keyboard. She couldn't tell if he liked her or just wished to play around with her. It seemed he had the same idea as all males, fuck them then leave them. Kagome sighed to herself making it once again to her bed. After putting the photo away, she went to bed. She relaxed agaisnt the mattress as soon as she hit it. Only five more hours till sun rise.

Both room mates got up cranky this morning, niether of them getting a good night sleep. Once again neither wished to make food, for they where too tired. They went out to Rosaria's Dinner again, both eating what they had before. Kagome had taken the photo of Naraku with her just in case. Finally awake they began to talk.

 

" Kagome, I don't think it wise to get involved in your uncle's bussiness."

 

" He was never one to ask for help, we will just give it to him."

 

" I think he wishes for your safty."

 

" Thats not inportant, keeping him safe is."

 

" O really now? Itsn't it my job to keep you safe?"

 

" Yea and happy! This makes me happy and with you by my side I know I'm safe."

 

" Whatever you say Kags." Inuyasha said taking yet another sip of his coffe. After breakfast they headed sraight to the club not wanting to waste any time. There they asked around, but they left the way they enetered and that was with nothing. They stood outside for a while, asking questions to people who had just came. They finally got something at noon. A man by the name of Onigumo (i think i spelled it right) said he overheard the man in the photo and a group of people say they where going to meet here at the club in two days from now. Finally getting a lead Inuyasha and Kagome left to eat once more. It seemed they would be regulars at Rosaria's Dinner and WacDonalds.

 

" So, we head to the club on Tuesday."

 

" Todays Monday Inuyasha. We go Wensday"

 

" Its Sunday."

 

" No its not."

 

" Ya it is, you think I'm stupid."

 

" Ya which means I'm right and your wrong." A worker overheard them and decided to cut in. " Sir, the miss is right, its Monday." Kagome grinned, loving her little victory. Thanking the worker she poked fun at Inuyasha. " Come on who was right."

 

" Fuck you wench."

 

" Come on Inuyasha, do you not like to lose?"

 

" I don't lose so I wouldn't know."

 

" But you just did."

 

" Did not. I'm sick of it here where going home."

 

" Can't you just admit it? Its stupid to keep the truth locked up inside."

 

" Shut the fuck up! Lets get the fuck out of here or I'll leave you behind."

 

" You wouldn't do that to me."

 

" You need to get to know me more Kags." Getting his things from the bench they were sitting on he went for his car. Kagome followed soon after not wanting to be left behind. They went back to the house.

" Inuyasha can you put a different movie on?"

 

" No this suits me fine." They were whatching Ghost Ship and Kagome couldn't take all the blood. They were sitting at oppisite ends of the couch, or at least they were in the beggining of the film. Kagome was now hugging Inuyasha, burying her face into his chest and wimpering at anything bad that would happen. Inuyasha didn't mind though, he loved the feel of her being so close to him. No way was he going to change the movie.

 

" But its really scary! The poor girl. Please make it stop." Kagome was shaking and she couldn't stop. Her eyes were closed as she hid herself from all the scary ghosts. Kagome heard Inuyasha sigh as he wrapped his arms around her. Being like this made Kagome feel safe. So safe that she was able to whatch some of the movie then fall asleep in his arms. When the movie ended, both where snoring lightly. Both finally getting the sleep they couldn't get the night before.
