Chapter One: Just a Dream

"Kagome honey! Bathtime!" He yelled up the stairs, his coarse voice ringing throughout the empty house.

Kagome always knew what this meant.

As she took off her clothes slowly, she knew what she had to prepare for next.

She stepped into the hot bathwater, piercing her sore frail body, eating away at her hideous black and blue bruises. He stepped into the small, cramped bathroom, a crooked smile pasted on his evil lips. His eyes burned with the lust and need to touch something so innocent and little. His shadow towered over her, darkening her hellish world, making hot tears stream down her soft cheeks.

"Your such a beautiful girl Kagome. With such a beautiful body." He said, as he bathed her with his rough calloused hands.

Kagome started to cry even harder....not a secret to him any longer.

"Kagome," He said, trying to soothe her as best as possible. "It's only bathtime."

After bathtime, Hideki, Kagome's mother's boyfriend, took her out of the tub to dry her off, his hands gently carressing her already tainted skin.

He then took her to her bedroom and layed her down onto her small, twin sized bed unwrapping her towel as he took in her fresh, innocent scent. Kagome's eyes were puffy and red, yet the tears kept coming.Her body shook uncontrollably, shivers from the cold air hitting her freshly bathed body.

Hideki looked at her seductively, taking off his faded work jeans, releasing the pressure from his now bulging member. He chuckled as Kagome lay there, paralyzed with fear, choking on the menacing air surronding her. He smiled evily and started towards her.

"Kagome? Are you okay?" InuYasha asked, shaking Kagome awake.

Kagome sat up shaking, cold sweat drenching her crumpled uniform. She jerked away from him, a look of fear etched into her features.

"Huh? What the hell is your problem?" InuYasha asked, looking back at the scared girl angrily.

"It was nothing. Just a dream." Kagome said, shaking her head.

"Oh yeah? What kinda dream?"

"It's none of your buisness!" Kagome snapped angrily.

"Keh. I don't know what the hell is your problem, but you don't have to bite MY head off about it!" InuYasha said, grabbing his sword, mumbling as he fell back asleep.

Kagome surveyed her surrondings, checking to see if anyone had awoke to InuYasha's outburst.

" Sango..." Kagome whispered, shaking the demon slayer slightly.

"Hmm?..." Sango said tiredly, wiping her eyes as she sat up.

"Can I talk to you?"

"Sure, I guess." Sango said, looking into the scared girl's eyes.

"....It's been going on ever since I can remember."

"Kagome? Has it ever really happened? I mean, has he ever raped you?"

"No...but I had this feeling he wanted to, that's what scared me so much. And I'm so afraid of men ever since these dreams started happening. That's why I'm so insecure about myself."

"Kagome....I...I'm so sorry to hear that. If you ever need a friend to talk to, you know I'm here for you." Sango said, hugging Kagome reassuringly.

Sango started to walk back toward the camp.

"Kagome? Are you coming?" Sango called over her shoulder.

Kagome nodded her head weakly and followed Sango back to the camp.

'It was just a dream...' Kagome thought.
