Kagome meets InuYasha at school and can't stop thinking about him. InuYasha and Kagome soon become close friends but not for long if Kikyou had anything to do with it. Kagome, Miroku and Sango go to the amusement park and run into InuYasha and Kikyou there. Thats when Kagome realized something was going on. Kagome and InuYasha go onto the Ferris wheel together and Kagome finally descovers that she likes InuYasha, but she didn't know how he felt about her.

Kagome yawned loudly as she stepped out of her house, and made her way down the street for school. Quickly she turned her head to see Sango
“Hey Sango”
“Hello Kagome, how are you this morning?”
“I'm good and you Sango?”
“I'm fairly well, just going to meet Miroku”
“Oh that's right, he finally asked you out didn't he?”
“Yes he did”
“Well I better get going, see you Sango!” Kagome smiled before running off and around the corner. She slammed her eyes shut when she realized she bumped into someone.
Slowly she opened her eyes to see a boy had caught her, her face turned a crimson color.
“I…I…”
“Are you okay? Sorry I bumped into you, I'm InuYasha” he said.
“I'm sorry, it was my fault I wasn't looking…”
“It's okay” he lifted her back onto her feet then resumed walking “bye now.”
“Bye…” Kagome waved then continued to school.
Who…was that boy…

Finally it was lunch and Kagome was starving, so she quickly bought her lunch and went to a table awaiting Sango and Miroku to come.
Looking over she saw Kikyou with Kouga, Naraku, Ayame, and a new boy, sighing she took a bite of her foot.
She smiled when she saw Sango and Miroku enter the cafeteria then stood up and began to wave
“Over here!”
Quickly she looked over to see InuYasha walking towards her.
“May I eat at this table or no?”
“Um, y-yes you may”
Kagome looked at InuYasha as she took a seat in the chair, then slowly she sat down.
“I'm Kagome…before, you gave me your name and I didn't get to give you mine…”
“Oh, nice to meet you Kagome”
“I just wanted to thank you, for catching me earlier.”
Kagome began to blush fiercely.
“It's okay, no need to thank me,”
InuYasha smiled.
Kikyou glanced over at Kagome and smirked.
Kagome smiled when Sango and Miroku sat down.
Sango leaned towards Kagome and whispered,
“Who is he?”
“I met him this morning, his name is InuYasha”
“I see,”
Sango leaned back.
InuYasha finished eat then stood up,
“Bye then,”
InuYasha grabbed his tray and walked off.
Kagome watched him, slightly in a trance.
Miroku waved his hand in front of Kagome's eyes.
Kagome blinked and looked at Miroku,
“Yes?”
Miroku gave Kagome a I knew it glare.
“You like him don't you?”
“Don't be silly! I just met him! I like him as a friend but that is all for now, maybe more in the future but now just as a friend!”
Kagome grabbed her tray and walked off, setting it down she left the cafeteria.
I think I do like him, but how can I like him, I just met the boy… but still, I can't seem to get him off my mind…
Kagome sighed walking down the hallway.

On the way home Kagome met up with InuYasha who was going in the same direction that she was and of course she was happy.
“So, InuYasha, how was your first day here?”
“It was actually pretty good, I got a new friend”
“Who”
“Who do you think, Kagome?”
“Me”
“Bingo,”
InuYasha smiled.
Kagome glanced over to him and couldn't help but to smile.
InuYasha stopped in front of his house,
“Well this is it, see you Kagome”
“Bye InuYasha…”
“Oh I almost forgot, here you go,”
InuYasha handed Kagome a small piece of paper.
“Incase you want to call me and hang sometime”
Kagome blinked and took hold of the paper.
“Okay,”
Kagome smiled and waved as InuYasha went into his house.

Soon Kagome arrived at her house, and went straight to her room placing the piece of paper in a small brown box she had on the desk in her room. After putting the paper in the box, she took the box and put it under her pillow.
“Kagome dinner,”
Kikyou stood at Kagome's door
“Mom told me to tell you dinner”
In a moment Kikyou vanished.
Kagome quickly ran down the stairs and into the kitchen, then sat in her seat.
Kikyou looked over to Kagome then stood up,
“Well I'm off”
“Where are you going?”
“To the amusement park,”
Kikyou quickly left.
Kagome finished eating, about 1 hour later Sango called and invited Kagome to the amusement park, of course Kagome said yes.

A half hour later Kagome arrived at the park to see Sango and Miroku.
Quickly they bought their wrists bands which allowed them to ride from 7pm to 11pm. Miroku turned to Sango and Kagome,
“Let's go on the Ferris wheel”
“Sure”
Slowly they made their way to the line up to see InuYasha with Kikyou.
“Oh Hello guys,”
“Hey Kikyou, and InuYasha…”
Kagome looked to InuYasha as she said this.
Quickly the line moved and it was time for Kagome to get on but she needed a partner.
“I'll go with her,”
InuYasha spoke up and hopped into the booth (it's kind of a room)
And they went up.
Kagome looked down to see Kikyou getting on with Kouga, though she didn't know why Kouga was there.
“It's a nice view, eh Kagome”
Kagome turned to InuYasha and nodded,
“Yes, yes it is.”
Kagome smiled placing her hands by her side on the seat as the ride began.
InuYasha also placed his hands by his side on the seat.
Kagome looked down to his hand, her hand slowly listing over towards his.
Slowly she placed her hand on top of his and began to blush fiercely again.
I like… InuYasha…and I know I do…
“Kagome…I…”
Kagome quickly pulled her hand away, she didn't respond.
InuYasha blinked a bit before grabbing her hand.
Kagome blushed looking at him.
“InuYasha…?”
InuYasha shut his eyes, his ears twitching to her soft voice but he didn't respond.
Kagome slowly leaned her head over to rest gently on his shoulder, slowly she shut her eyes.

Kagome quickly ran down the street, she slept in and was later for school.
About 20 minutes later she arrived and went straight to her locker, shoved her books in besides her math book then shut her locker and ran to class.

Soon it was lunch and Kagome wasn't in the mood to eat inside so she was outside. She looked over to see Kikyou by the corner wall waving for her to come over. Slowly Kagome made her way over Kikyou running behind the wall Kagome unable to see her.
Kagome turned the corner to look at Kikyou.
