She suddenly felt a drain, all of her strength and her grip has weakened, giving Naraku a chance to break free. “Like I said without the souls of the dead you have scarcely any energy to kill me” Naraku said. Smokes were coming out from Naraku's wrist where Kikyo had made contact. Naraku held onto his wrist as the darkness from around regenerates him. Again he tries to strangle her. “You cannot kill me, for Onigumo's heart is still beating strong” she spoke weakly. The burning pain on his back was now unbearable. He disregards his pain and persisted on strangling the miko. Once more the miko tries to struggle for her life but was futile. On the verge of death, Naraku prevents himself from killing her “I will only allow just enough of your soul collectors to enter; just enough to keep you alive, so you can see your own demise once I've found all the shards of the shikon jewel” Naraku spoke as he held the miko in his arms.

“Argh” Inuyasha growls as he pounds the trunk of the tree beside him. “Kikyo is captured and I was there” Inuyasha thought. “He's still in love with Kikyo” Kagome comes up to Inuyasha from behind. “Calm down Inuyasha, there's no point to get so furious. What we need to do now is make a plan” Miroku suggested. “Is that all you do? Sit here and think while…argh” Inuyasha shouts. “Do you have any leads on where Naraku is?” Inuyasha was silenced and sat down with a pout look. “Look Inuyasha I want to kill Naraku as much as you, but if we don't think this through we will never be able to find Naraku” Miroku reasoned. “Did you see that eerie cloud?” two villagers walk pass by not paying any attention to the awkward white hair stranger whose sitting on the ground. “Excuse me gentlemen, where exactly did you two see this dark cloud you speak of?” Miroku comes up to the two villagers. “It's just over that valley over there” the villagers reply.

“I must get out of here” Kikyo limps down the hallway to the exit. Kikyo stops to look around. “There's no one around, something's wrong” Kikyo close her eyes and reopen then at once. All the illusions begin to fade. “Naraku, your spells are pitiful” Kikyo criticized. Kikyo got up from where she was and made her way down the hallway. “I need to get my strength back, before I can deal with Naraku” she feels a sudden drain of her energy. “Did you think that it's that easy to escape from this place? Kikyo, you've become more naïve than ever” Naraku emerges from behind Kikyo. The two went into a staring contest. Kikyo fell on to the wooden floor; she gave a small painful growl. “I see the poisonous miasma surrounding this whole castle is beginning to take effect on you” Naraku comes up closer to Kikyo. “Damn you” Kikyo grunted as she puts all her energy out to reach for her hidden dagger and stabs Naraku on the chest. A small doll drops out; it seems that it's one of Naraku's stupid puppets. Kikyo thought, how she could have fallen for it. All out of energy Kikyo falls back onto the floor and swoons. Naraku comes out his room and return the unconscious miko on the futon. “You are so bothersome, yet Onigumo's heart never stops beating for you once” Naraku said as he sat beside her.

“Do you think Naraku's going to be here” Inuyasha asks as he run carrying Kagome on his back. “We can't be sure, but there are signs that points to here. We can't just ignore it” Miroku said. They came to the abyss with the intoxicating stench of blood. “I need more blood” the wild Cyclops screams. The Cyclops looks around and spotted the group. “Blood” the Cyclops picks up a boulder and threw it at them. Inuyasha picks up Kagome and doge the boulder. Miroku open his wind tunnel to suck the boulder in. At that time a poisonous bee came flying in. Miroku instantly feel the poison coursing throughout his body. Inuyasha landed on the ground only to be attacked by a wave of wind. A small cut runs across from Inuyasha's face. Inuyasha looks up and it was Kagura. “Kagura, where's Naraku” Inuyasha shouted. “Aren't you going to ask where that other woman is, as well?” Kagura trying to find out the idenity of the mysterious woman she met last time at Naraku's castle. “Where is he” Inuyasha sounded impatient. He draws out his sword, a big yellow light shot out of the sword. Kagura knowing that she's no match for teksaiga she tries to keep at a safe distance to defend and attack. “Inuyasha” Kagome looks with worried eyes as she came over to assist Miroku. The Cyclops throws another stone at Kagome. Inuyasha shifted to the Cyclops and slice it as well as the rock in half. In this time Kagura flies off taking the shard piece with her. “What is Naraku planning; this demon was too weak even with the shard” Kagura formulated. Miroku lies on the floor not knowing life and death. Kagome takes out her first aid kit and care of the poison. Miroku breathes heavily as he reaches for Kagome's hand. “Kagome, would you bear my child?” Miroku asks. “Get lost” Inuyasha pops a blood vessel as he breaks up the two.
