Inuyasha walks back to Kaedae's hut to find Kagura talking to Miroku and Kagome. Inuyasha quickly releases his swords from its sheath and lunges toward Kagura. "Wait Inuyasha" Kagome screamed, Inuyasha heels. Kagura flies off. "What was she doing here?" Inuyasha questioned. "It seems that Kagura despises Naraku. She said that if we come to the castle nearby we would be able to find Naraku and Kikyou" Miroku answers.

Naraku looks at Kikyou with widen eyes. "What do you mean by that?" Naraku asks. "Your human heart has left you, and this makes you more demon-like since your half human self is not in your body. This will make it easier for me to kill you" Kikyou immediately charged at Naraku and places her hand on to his chest. She tries to purify it. "What's wrong... where's all my powers? How can this be?" Kikyou mind went blank.

Naraku took advantage of this opportunity, he grabs her hand that was on his chest. He flips her forcefully and she then fell upon the futon that was on the floor. His face was so close to her that she can feel this hot breathe breathing on her ivory skin. There was a long period where they just remain that way and stare deeply into one another's eyes. Naraku gave out a light chuckle and got up. "Naraku, what did you do with my powers?" Kikyou sounded impatiently.

Naraku ignore her and left the room. Kikyou came to the nearby window and takes a look outside. Her soul collectors were gone. "How could this be....usually I would need souls of the dead to sustain this body of mine" she ponders.

Kikyou ran to Naraku's room and slam open the doors. "My...my. Does a miko like yourself wish to become corrupted tonight? " Naraku said slyly. "Naraku, I demand that you answer my question" Kikyou said fiercely. "If you could find my weakness within ten days then I shall tell you" Naraku said. "Enough with your games" Kikyou said. "You're powers are gone, you can't kill me. You could hardly defend yourself" Naraku swiftly got up and slams Kikyou into a wall.

He slowly takes a sniff at Kikyou's neck. She tries with all her might to break free but he was grappling her hands and they were bound to the wall along with her body. "I may not have enough energy to kill you but I could kill myself" Kikyou threaten. Naraku removes his grips. "Do you hate me that much?" Naraku asks. Kikyou becomes silent. For she did not know how to answer this question. She knows that she would have replied that she despises his guts and wishes to rip his head off, for framing Inuyasha, for making them misunderstood each other.

But then at the same time these other thoughts rushes into her head. Did she really was in love with Inuyasha in the first place? If she was then she would have believe not what her eyes sees but what she knows about Inuyasha and trusts him. With all these thoughts she fell onto the floor and wanted to cry, but because of her duty she was not allow to shed a single tear. Naraku got down to her level. "You may cry all you want for no one is around. I shall lend you this shoulder" he said. And with that being said Kikyou gave in.

She wonder why Naraku has become so gentle. She rests her head on Naraku's shoulder and falls asleep. Naraku sits still in the exact position. "Kikyou... I wish to have your heart" Naraku whispers. The piece of jewel that Naraku had in his clothes softly glowed. The piece in Kagura and Kagome's fragments also glowed at the same time. To be continued.....
