Unseen Love

Ok guys! This is my first fic tell me what you think BUT no flames! All flames will be laughed at by me and Lilly a.k.a. flower4u!

As dawn came upon Inuyasha's forest, only one person was awake. Inuyasha. He leapt gracefully from his high perch in the Goshinboku, landed gracefully, then sniffed. "Kikyou." he muttered then bounded off in search of the priestess turned dead clay bitch. Around half an hour later, the rest of the inu gumi rose and started their day. Kagome stirred the ramen, then sighed. "Well…I guess we'll have a little vacation because their doesn't seem to be any new jewel shard or Naraku rumors. Shippou-chan? Where's Inuyasha? Breakfast is ready!" Shippou thought for a minute then said, "I don't know! He wasn't here when we got up" "What do you want bitch?" Inuyasha said as he walked back into the village. "Your breakfast is ready and don't call me bitch!" "What are you gonna do wench?" "Inuyasha?" "WHAT!?" "SIT BOY!" A few minutes later, Inuyasha pulled himself out of his hole and came to eat his breakfast. "Inuyasha, you stay here while I run home and get some supplies!" Kagome said after breakfast was over. But Inuyasha was gone. Kagome shrugged and headed to the well. As she approached, "WHAT!?" "SIT BOY!" A few minutes later, Inuyasha pulled himself out of his hole and came to eat his breakfast. "Inuyasha, you stay here while I run home and get some supplies!" Kagome said after breakfast was over. But Inuyasha was gone. Kagome shrugged and headed to the well. As she approached, she saw some of Kikyou's soul stealers and halfway knowing what she'd see she followed them. As she approached the clearing, she steeled her nerve and hid behind a tree. As Kagome looked on, Kikyou and Inuyasha stood locked in a lover's embrace. "Kikyou, I'll always love you.." Inuyasha whispered in her ear. "But what of my reincarnation?" "She is just a copy, a cheap imitation." Those words he spoke made a deeper wound in Kagome's heart then a knife ever could. Inuyasha looked up. He smelled saltwater, sakuras, and spring rain. Kikyou noticed Inuyasha look up and reassured him. "We will be rid of her soon enough and we can go to hell together!"

Meanwhile….

"How could he do this to me?"

**************Flashback**********************

"Kagome!" "What is it Inuyasha?" "I have to show you something! Come here!" As Inuyasha dragged her off, Kagome could only wonder and guess at what the hanyou had in store for her. As they came to a clearing, Kagome saw lights up ahead. It was beautiful. All around the clearing, lights danced and sakuras trees swayed as if performing some mystical dance. "Wow! It's beautiful Inuyasha!" "Kagome, I have to tell you something. Something I've wanted to say for a long time." "Well, what is it Inuyasha?" "I…I…I love you Kagome and I'm not afraid to say it anymore!" "But Inuyasha, what about Kikyou?" "I realize now that she's dead and will never be the same person. But you Kagome are alive and beautiful!" "Inuyasha I love you too!"

***********End Flashback**********************

'Why me? Well that settles it! I'm through with Inuyasha! He can fuck his dead bitch all he wants to now! But he was my first love…' As Kagome was sullenly walking back to camp, she heard Sango's voice. "HOUSHI-SAMA! I CAN'T STAND YOU ANY LONGER! ALWAYS GROPING WOMEN AND ASKING THEM TO BEAR YOUR CHILD! DID YOU EVER CONSIDER MY FEELINGS? WELL NO MORE I'M LEAVING!" With that, Sango stormed off with hiraikotsu strapped to her back and Kirara on her shoulder.

****Miroku's POV******

Sango…she loved me? If I would of known…. I thought of her as a sister really though… Uh Oh. What's wrong with Kagome? I gasped. Inuyasha what have you done this time my friend?

*********Normal POV************

As soon as Kagome saw Miroku, she flung herself at him and sobbed on his shoulder. "Kagome what's wrong?" "Inuyasha!….sniffle…..Kikyou!" Kagome started wailing. "You saw them together? I thought he said he loved you!?" "I thought so too!" Kagome finished wailing and sat up. All was quiet until Shippou came bounding out of Kaede's hut. "Mama! What's wrong?" "It's nothing Shippou-Chan! I just…uh….hurt my leg!" "But I heard you crying!" "I've gotta get more supplies! Stay her with Miroku. I'll be right back!" Kagome called over her shoulder. With Kagome gone and Shippou practicing with his weapon toys, it left Miroku with some thinking time.

**********Miroku's POV**********

How can Kagome be that strong? Inuyasha has betrayed her many times before and she still has the courage to forgive him! With Naraku not defeated and jewel shards yet to be found how can she be so happy? She's smart AND beautiful with her firm butt, ample breasts and slender legs….

**********Normal POV*************

As those lecherous thoughts pounded through Miroku's head, he spaced out and fell off the log he was positioned on. Inuyasha came back and noticed Miroku with his usual lecherous grin and concluded (A/N: he can think? He's got a brain?) He must be thinking about Kagome because he had seen Sango storming off earlier. "Oi! Bouzo! Quit thinking about MY woman!" Miroku cam out of his daze and then said "Inuyasha! You know very well who saw you and Kikyou together! And after you told her you loved her!? I didn't think even YOU could stoop so low!" Inuyasha knew even he couldn't argue with that. "Oi! Where's Kagome anyways!?" "Her time" And so Inuyasha set off at top speed toward the bone eater's well so he could talk to Kagome. After a while Kagome climbed out of the well and Inuyasha started talking at top speed. "I'msosorryKagome!It'llneverhappenagain!" "You're right! It won't!" "Huh?" "BECAUSE WE'RE OVER!" Kagome screamed at him and ran off to the village. A soon as she got there, she stopped in her tracks. "What's wrong?" Miroku asked. "Shikon shards headed this way! And fast!" An approaching whirlwind eased their worries but not entirely. It was Kouga, the wolf prince. "Hey Kagome! What's inukkoro done this time? I heard you scream we're over! 5 miles away!" "Inuyasha as with Kikyou again! But this time I'll never forgive him!" Kagome practically spat the word "Kikyou" out. "Well…In that case…." Kouga ran to Kagome, licked her cheek and then sped off back to the wolf den. Kagome flopped down on an available log and blinked. "Um.. Kagome? I think Kouga just announced a suit on you" "WHAT!?!?" "When demons announce their suit for a potential mate they place their scent on the chosen. He could of did a number of other things though" "…LIKE WHAT!?" "You don't wanna know, trust me!" Kagome heaved a big sigh and went to start lunch. As Kagome was cooking, she turned to Miroku. "Hey Miroku?" "Yes Kagome?" "Why haven't you groped me lately?" "Well to tell you truth, I have respect for you"

**********Miroku's POV*********

That and I want to fall to the ground and worship you. I want to have you writhing beneath me and calling my name over and over and over again. Mmm…wonder what she'd taste like? Probably as good as she smells… Oh kami-sama! Is this love?

*********Normal POV*************

"Uhhh… Miroku? Are you okay?" "Huh? What?" "You kinda spaced out there for a minute." "Yeah I was just thinking." "Well okay! Shippou! Come eat! Here's your bow Miroku!" As the inu-gumi (minus a certain hanyou) sat down to eat their peaceful lunch, they were unaware of someone watching in the shadows. "Kukuku… Now that Inuyasha is out of the picture, I am free to capture the little miko's heart! I will turn her into my mate who will be willing to do anything I want AND I will have that slice of the Shikon no tama! Kikyou was just the consolation gift! I'm going for the grand prize!

Meanwhile……

"Heh heh heh! Inukkoro you led Kagome right into my hands like a lamb to the slaughter! I'll finally have Kagome as my beautiful mate! My dens will get repopulated, I'll have the love of my life and inukkoro will be devastated!
