Everything dark. I open my eyes yet no light comes through. No I'm not scared for I know whats happening. Not a dream or some type of nightmare but a memory I would never forget. I can hear my mom yelling and as usual I am to blame. Father is leaving, he can't take it. Me being sick is too much for him. Mom starts crying, I can hear her wails as my father opens my bedroom door. The light barely lets me see his face. He frowns at me before he whispers goodbye. Sure I could have gotten out of bed and tried to stop him from leaving but it seemed to me that anything I would say to my father wouldn't make him change his mind. My mom is coughing now trying hard to catch her breath and make him stay. I too started crying, tears that would be my last, until all grew silent again.

 

Waking up was the best thing since last night. I felt warm and cozy in the arms of Inuyasha. Well at least all was good until a giggle was heard.

 

" Kagome you sleep well?" My face seemed to be able to light the room right about now. I saw the sly looks Sango and Miroku were giving and immediately tried to get Inuyasha to let go but me with my luck, he just held me tighter.

 

" Now how come me and you couldn't sleep like that."

 

" Because your a pervert unlike me." He's awake? If he is awake why isn't letting go!

 

" Ok Yashi time for you and your sleep toy to get up." What a bad idea...I mean good one. Good one, right!

 

" Still sleepy." Good answer Inu...wait bad, very bad dog.

 

" Well Inuyasha, a lazy ass as usual I see. No wonder you were so god damn boring." Now who was that. This person seemed to chill the room in an instant. Her cold brown eyes roamed the room before they settle on me and Inuyasha.

 

" And who said you could come anywhere near me or this hospital?" Inuyasha voice cut through. His growl vibrated his chest and that wasn't a good thing by the way I was being held.

 

" The council has sent me Inuyasha seeing as its also my time to explore outside the village."

 

" Explore or just walk around the streets." Whoever she was it seemed that everyone hated her. She narrowed her eyes at Miroku before lightly tossing her waist long black hair.

 

" I'm no pervert. Sango is to return to the village to be taken care of by the demons." I just met her and already hate that fake.

 

" There is no way I'm going to leave Kagome by herself." Sango?

 

" Kagome? O, that slut in Inu's arms? Have you fallin that hard, Inu?" Slut! Now its official, I truly hate this person!

 

" What did you just call me!?" It hurt my throat speaking so loud seeing as I've never raised my voice. " You come into our room and pretend to be Miss High and Mighty? Do you know how cold it is outside? What kind of stupid idiot wears a skirt and a shirt that doesn't even fit. Salvation army is not a brand name its called hand me downs, how about you leave them for the kids who needs them." Wow I didn't know I could be so cruel. Usually I'm the one taking the hits, what happened?

 

" What did you just say!?" She sneered as she took a step closer only to be stopped by something that even frightened me.

 

" You heard her Kikyo." Inuyasha was on his feet faster than I could even register him move. He stood taller than her, daring her to try and land a hit on me or at least thats what it looked like to me. " Get out before I loose it."

 

" I will not leave until Sango comes back to the village. You know the rules, Inuyasha. Once the council decides they will hear no word of it again."

 

" Miroku..."

 

" Yea Inuyasha?"

 

" Were going to have a talk with the council. Get your things were leaving." If this Kikyo person was telling the truth, Sango and I may never see each other again. My stomach turned at the thought as my heart seemed to stop when the idea crossed my mind. I would be alone again. No more laughter, no more games, and definitely no chance in having a guy to care for me...ok skip that last part.

 

" You'll come back right?" It was strange. Sango had always spoken with such confidence and yet here she was. I've never seen her so sad.

 

" If we do not change their minds Pa will have to come and get you."

 

Sango wouldn't talk to me. Its been a day since Inuyasha left. I tried to get her to so many times but she would just stare out the window and sigh. When I went to the bathroom I could have sworn I heard her sniffle, holding back tears that threaten to fall. I felt the same way as her, maybe even worst. She had other friends but me, I don't. What was going to happen to me? Would I end up like that man who died last night? Is that how I'll escape all this? Great, back to thinking this way again. How come everything that makes me happy is taken away in an instant? Why was my life so complicated.

 

" Do you hear that?" I barley caught her whisper before I turned to see what she was looking at. Who was that at the door?
