“KAGOME!”

Finally Inuyasha caught up with her

 

“What?”

 

“Do you want to start a band with me and Miroku?”

 

“What about sango?”

 

“Sure you can call her and ask”

 

“Alright im in, wait what about her equipment”

 

“Hmmm……you got a piece of paper and a pen?”

 

“Ya here”

 

“Meet me at this address give it to sango to”

 

“When?”

 

“Saturday night and here is my number”

Kagome ripped off a piece and wrote her number down

 

“Call me tomorrow around noon”

 

“Okay see ya kagome”

 

“See ya around”

 

Kagome and sango are freshmen's in high school and Miroku and Inuyasha are seniors but all of them have been friends since middle school. As you probably know sango has a crush on Miroku and kagome has a crush on Inuyasha they all aren't what you call popular. Any way Kagome reached her house as usual her mother greets her and she goes up to her room and puts her school work on her desk. She pulls out the piece of paper that had Inuyasha's address and number `oh ya I have to call sango.'

 

“MOM, WHERE IS THE PHONE!”

 

“RIGHT HERE IN THE KITHEN!”

She rushes down stairs and grabs the phone 555-1735

 

“Hello”

 

“Sango?”

 

“No this is kohaku”

 

“Can you put sango on the phone?”

 

“Ya hold on”

 

“SANGO ITS KAGOME!”

 

“Kagome?”

 

“Ya im here, Inuyasha and Miroku are starting a band and they are wondering if we will join”

 

“Sure im in”

 

“Good we have to meet at Inuyasha's house Saturday night his address is 3705 Seashore RD.”

 

“Where is that? “

 

“By the high school”

 

“Oh”

 

“Saturday night?”

 

“Ya, ill call you when I leave so we can walk together”

 

“Okay, bye”

 

“Bye”

 

“Are you done on the phone kagome?”

 

“Ya here”

 

“Thank you, Dinner is ready yours is on the table”

 

“Thanks mom”

 

“No problem”

After dinner kagome got in the shower and went to bed an hour later kagome's mother knocked on her door and whispers

 

“You have a phone call, he says his name is Inuyasha wait isn't that your cute friend from school”

 

“Hello, Inuyasha?”

 

“Sorry it's so late but I need your help”

 

“Can it wait till tomorrow?”

 

“No”

 

“Okay ill be right over”

 

“Okay see you then."

 

“Mom can you give me a ride”

 

“Sure where to?”

 

“Inuyasha's house he said he needs my help”

 

“Sure get dressed and ill take you and grab a jacket its cold”

 

“Thanks I will”

 

“I'll be waiting in the car”

2 min later kagome gets into the car and tells her mom to go to the high school and drop her off

Then about 5min later she gets out of the car

 

“I'll call you when to pick me up and meet me here”

 

“Okay bye honey”

 

“Bye mom”

 

Kagome waits there until she can't see her any more

 

“Okay to Inuyasha's house

3701……..3703……….3704……& #8230;.3705” she walks up to the door and sees a tall man that looks like Inuyasha but has black hair and brown eyes not amber

 

“Is Inuyasha home?”

 

“It's me kagome”

 

“Oh, what happened?”

 

“Come in side”

 

“Do you want coffee or any thing else?”

 

“No im good, just explain to me why you look like this?”

 

“Well on the night of every full moon at the beginning of the month I change human because im a hanyou not a Youki like my half brother sesshomaru and on these nights' im helpless and have every human emotion and cant hide them in other words vulnerable.”

 

“Oh so why did you want me why not Miroku or sango maybe your brother”

 

“Because kagome I like you”

 

“What I thought we were friends”

 

“We are but-“

 

“But what?”

 

“I really really like you; I can't stop thinking about you.”

 

“Inuyasha stop you know you don't so stop trying”

 

“Hojo doesn't deserve you”

 

“How did Hojo get dragged into this?”

 

“I saw him eyeing you in school today”

 

“Why does it matter to you?”

 

“Don't you get it do you I love you Kagome Higurashi.”

 

“Inuyasha stop you don't mean it you love Kikyou your dating her”

 

“Im dating Kikyou because I was scared”

 

“Scared of what?”

 

“I 'm scared of having feelings for my best friend, and her not liking me back.”

 

“No Inuyasha I like you I was hoping you would ask me out not Kikyou”

 

“Oh no what have I do I have made the biggest mistake of my life”

 

“What?”

 

“Letting you go”

 

“I'm still here aren't I?”

 

“And im here, can we start over?”

 

“I guess so”

 

“Will you go out with me kagome?”

 

“Yes”

 

Inuyasha pulled her in and embraced her

 

“I love you kagome, do you love me?”

 

“Yes”

 

“Let me hear you say it”

 

“I-I love you Inuyasha”

She said with a shaky voice

 

“Kagome “

 

“Yes”

 

“Don't leave me”

 

“But I have to good home”

 

“Tomorrow…leave tomorrow”

 

“But I don't think I can”

 

“Please I'm scared on these nights”

 

“I'll call my mom and se what she says”

 

“Okay the phone is in the kitchen”

 

“Well you have to let go of me so I can get the phone”

 

“Oh right”

He released her and she got up took the phone in her hand and dialed her number

 

`Hello'

 

Mom

 

`Yes'

 

Can I stay here with Inuyasha?

 

`Why'

 

Because it's a huge emergency and he needs me now

 

`I thought he was going out with your cousin Kikyou'

 

He is but she is sick

 

`I guess but no sleeping together'

 

We won't

 

`Bye honey, see you tomorrow'

 

Thanks see ya tomorrow

 

“I can stay”

He smiles at her

 

“Where do you want to sleep?”

 

“Don't matter”

 

“How about out here”

 

“Okay”

 

“I'll go get blankets and pillows”

 

“Okay”

By the time Inuyasha got back kagome was half asleep on the couch Inuyasha tilted his head to the side and asked

 

“Are you that tired?”

 

“Yes very tired”

 

“We'll sleep on the couch”

 

“Hm…”

 

He sits on the places a blanket on him then on his lap a pillow kagome lays on the pillow and covers up, after she gets settled in she asks

 

“Do you like dogs?”

 

“Where did that come from?”

 

“Don't know I guess im just wondering”

 

“Or just away to avoid the quit cuz you can't sleep”

 

“So just answer the question “

 

“Yes I like dogs, how bout you”

 

“Ya I love dogs”

 

“Do you have any pet's kagome?”

 

“Yes Buyo, have you ever had any pets?”

 

“No but I have always wanted a dog but my dad thought me and the dog would fight or him and the dog would fight. “

 

Why”

 

“Well I'm half dog like I said and my mother was human and my father was full dog demon and one of us might take it too far oh and sesshomaru but he is more of a loner not at home a lot.”

 

“Was?”

 

“Yes they both died when I was very young”

 

“Oh im sorry my father died to”

 

“How, I mean you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to”

 

“I want to I haven't really told anyone, well me dad and mom where driving home form work and its was raining some jerk cut in front of them in panic me dad swerved of the rode and the car rolled over a few times, luckily people were there to help and the pulled my mom out in time but before they got to my dad...” tears started forming in to her eyes “the car exploded into flames and her was burnt a live.”

 

“Im so sorry kagome.” He said as he gathered her in his arms she cried heart out on his shoulders “I didn't mean for you to cry.”

 

“No its okay you didn't do anything”

 

“Yes I did I made you tell me”

 

“No you didn't”

 

“Yes I did”

 

“No you said you don't want to make me do anything I don't want to do”

 

“Yes that's what put presser on you”

 

“No I kept it in to long and I needed to tell someone it's just me and my dad were so close I really connected with him, he really understood me.”

 

“I know how you feel but me and my old man really didn't get along I favored my mother.”

 

“Well im not saying I hate my mother I love her and all but when I was little well not like a baby but anyway my mom was normally in bed with souta and while she would sleep my dad would take me out for ice cream in the park I miss him so much”

 

“Its okay kagome I'll be here for you”

 

“Thank you Inuyasha and I'll be here for you”

 

“Kagome?”

 

“Yes”

 

“Do you like kouga?”

 

“No what gave you that idea?”

 

“Well you're always around him”

 

“So im also always around sango and Miroku”

 

“But kouga is different”

 

“How he's just my friend”

 

“So you won't leave me for him?”

 

“Never, but what about Kikyou?”

 

“Im breaking up with her tomorrow”

`She might hate me now' kagome thought to her self Inuyasha interrupted her thoughts

 

“Kagome isn't Kikyou you cousin?”

 

“Yes you should know that”

 

“I always thought she was your sister since she was always at you house but you make it sound like a cousin”

 

“Because she is”

 

“I know, I want to know more about you kagome”

 

 

“Well Inuyasha I want to know more about you”

 

“Ladies first.”

They both talked about there lives it took about 3 to 4 hours by then the sun was up and by then Inuyasha was in his normal form. Inuyasha woke up to the smell of an omelette and to find kagome in the kitchen cooking food for him.
