Unwanted Tears Shed
by Sarah
Chapter Name, Betrayl #1, enjoy!
So, this is my second fanfic, I hope you like it. This story was inspired by the show, InuYasha. Though I don't think I'll be using the characters inside of my story. So the characters Sarama, Kirashu, Kokiyu, Sosiyu, and all the rest are all mine, lol. And this story is a sequel to the story, The girl who wouldn't give up, and I would suggest reading it to get a better view of the story, the story's URL is here: http://fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=1369478 I hope you will enjoy the story!
" " = is thinking, ' ' is thoughts, and not much else besides that. I would use italics and bold, but I just can't how to figure out how to make it work on ff.net, grrr.
Characters: (thought I'd explain them since they're my own. And these are just the main characters too).
Kirashu-
The half-demon is gruff, but caring in his own ways, but doesn't like to show his soft side. He's half-human, half-dog demon.
Siasku-
Siasku is the reincarnation of the demon slayer, Sarama. Unlike the strong and powerful woman herself, Siasku doesn't slay, or fight. Though she does try to shoot a few arrows here and there, she has a hard time doing it and easily gets down on herself for not being as strong as the demon slayer. She has waist-long black hair, blue eyes, and delicate facial features.
Kokiyu-
Kokiyu is a young apprentice of the demon slayer. Though, her and Sarama knew each other much longer before then, many times the woman would risk life and limb to save her life. The two became very close and Sarama was like an idol and an older sister to her.
Sarama-
The woman who died at the hands of her lover, or so she thought. Later on she is brought to life again though she fights with her emotions when she finds out she doesn't just hate.
Summary:
Kirashu is a half-demon who lived happily with his first love who was a demon slayer named, Sarama. After the demon slayer died he wanted to die with her, but wasn't allowed to as the evil demon Nasaou placed a curse on him. After sixteen years he meets up with Siasku, a young girl who looks almost exactly like the demon slayer, but isn't. The young girl travels with him, and a young woman named Kokiyu as he tries to kill the evil demon who caused all his pain.
======================================
"Hey cutie!" Sarama smiled at saying this, knowing that Kirashu hated such words but he just smiled and brought her near, planting a kiss on her lips. The two had been practically inseperatable, it had been a year since the demon slayer had avengened her parents death and they had lived happily ever since then. Sarama had stopped slaying, and had asissted Kokiyu's mother with being the village miko. Kokiyu had taken Sarama's spot as demon slayer, much to the demon slayer's protests, but the younger girl had her mind set on it and she had trained her as best as she could. Though, she did have to admit, Kokiyu was pretty good at it too. The crystal which had killed her double was still with her, no other demons or people had gone after it, much to her relief. Everything was perfect, almost too perfect, if she could admit it to herself, but she had such a hard life, she was glad it was finally perfect.
"Hey, what are you thinking about, hmmm?" Kirashu asked softly, bringing his hands around her waist, smiling into her blue eyes. Sarama just relaxed in his arms as she smiled back into his golden eyes saying, "Just thinking how perfect everything is..."
The half-demon smiled at this and brought her even closer as he spoke in her ear, "And how perfect I am?"
Sarama just teasingly rolled her eyes as she said, "You are just too perfect for words."
"Ha, I thought so." Kirashu said, trying his best attempt at a cocky smile.
The two just stayed closely to each other for a while, enjoying the silence, when Sarama abruptly broke it as she said, "I'm going to walk by myself for a little bit. You know where to find me, or how you can find me." The demon slayer headed off by herself and didn't feel like going to anywhere in particular, she just wanted more time to think.
Kirashu watched as the demon slayer walked away from him, slightly swaying her hips from side to side. 'To think, I said I hated it when she did that.' The half-demon headed into the forest, decided to leave her completely alone and not bother her. He just noticed how unusually quiet it had become when the half-demon was attacked. Kirashu couldn't see the face of the one who was attacking him because it was somewhat blurred, he felt his chest and noticed that it was bleeding quite badly. The half-demon soon was pinned to a tree and felt his vision clearing as he stared into the red eyes of the demon which was attacking him. What Kirashu didn't know that this demon was Nasaou, a demon who had killed Sarama's village and parents and then died at the hand of the demon slayer.
"What the hell do you want from me?!" Kirashu yelled angrily, he didn't know who this demon was, but something told him that the demon had something to do with Sarama.
"I want to use you, you stupid half-breed."
Kirashu didn't even have a chance to respond as he was knocked unconscious by the demon. The demon grabbed the hair and blood of Kirashu, and blood from himself, making an double of the half-demon. Nasaou looked at the double of Kirashu open up his golden eyes. He smiled evilly at his creation as he gave it a sword and said, "Kill Sarama." The double bowed to his master's request and ran off to find the demon slayer. 'I don't know what brought me back to life again after you tried to kill me, but seems like my hatred for you, my dear Sarama, brought back my memory, now you will die, and die hating the only one you loved. You will not survive this time.' The demon thought to himself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sarama had no clue of what had happened, and was walking threw a meadow which had a rather large cliff. She stood there for a few seconds, just thinking to herself. 'Nasaou, he was wished back to life. I wonder everyday if it was granted, is he alive? And if he is, why is it taking him so long to attack me and try and finish me off?' Sarama stood there by herself, as she felt a small breeze blow her hair, and she felt Kirashu's presence coming toward her at a fast pace, and it just felt, off. She strangely felt nothing but hatred coming from the half-demon's aura, but she just shook her head at this and turned to meet him. Sarama felt a sword slicing threw her and then she fell backwards onto the ground. She looked up into the eyes of who had attacked her and saw the strangely cold golden eyes of Kirashu.
"Kirashu... but, why?"
He didn't answer her and made the woman stand by grabbing her hair and dragging it upwards to make her to stand. He then slashed threw her more, making the woman step backwards and come dangerously close to the cliff. She stood at the edge, too shocked and hurt to fight back. 'This can't be him.' It was too late to reason, as she felt the final blow and then she lost her balance at the impact of the sword with her body, falling backwards. The last view which she had before falling into unconsciousness was the uncaring face of Kirashu as he smiled chillingly at her falling form.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The real Kirashu had just awoken from where he had been knocked out. But, he immiedately stood up when he smelled the blood of the only woman he loved, Sarama. 'No, it can't be her.' The half-demon ran as quickly as he could, and saw the demon slayer being attacked by none other than himself! 'What the hell is going on?!' The half-demon had no time to find out as he saw the double slice at Sarama and she fell backwards off of the edge of the cliff. Kirashu ran at her with such speed that he didn't even know he had, and ran past his double as he jumped off the cliff himself and held onto the side with one hand, as he tried to grab the falling figure of the demon slayer. But, she was too far aware, and all which his hand grabbed was the thin air.
"Sarama!"
He cried out at the top of his lungs, trying desperately to reach her, but her body just disaspeared into the blackness below, and the demon slayer didn't even hear his voice, or see his desperate and sad face, because she was all ready unconscious. Kirashu crawled up to the top of the cliff, lying on the ground, not sure what had happened, not believing that she was actionably gone. He felt himself crying, not caring to wipe the tears off of his face, he didn't wish to live, if she was dead.
"You're broken, aren't you?" Nasaou asked the half-demon in an emotionless voice.
Kirashu looked up at the demon, searching for the double which had attacked Sarama, but it wasn't there. He didn't respond to the demon's question, and just sat there, his heart broken, his mind confused.
The demon spoke again, smilly down at Kirashu, as he placed a curse on the demon. "You will hunt down and terrioze villages, doing my job for me. The only way this can be broken is for that wretched woman to come back to life, and I highly doubt that. The love for that woman will fuel it, and since your foolish love for that wretched woman was endless, I'd say you will be doing it for a long time."
The demon then left Kirashu alone, happy that he had finally killed the woman and destroyed the spirit of the half-demon which she loved. Kirashu felt the curse taking effect, and suddenly he felt his eyes turn red and only the desire to kill and destory. He gave one last scream and then ran off toward the closest to village to attack it, having no control over himself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sarama felt herself falling backwards, she could of sworn that she heard the anguised cry of Kirashu, but she had all ready fallen into unconsciousness. 'He attacked me, why did he attack me?' She fell farther and all which she could feel were many thoughts coming at her.
'Does he really hate me? Did he just steal my heart and then feel the need to destroy it? He did leave me for those four years, and I never felt such a pain as I did in those years. In a way, he betrayed me.'
The ground came quicker and the crystal which was on her neck flashed all of the feelings she was going threw. And, suddenly, just as she was growing momentum and speeding quicker towards the ground below, she felt time stopped, and she knew she was being given a choice: life, or death. 'A choice? I'm being given a choice?!' Sarama thought about the choice, feeling herself being almost torn apart by the emotions she was feeling. 'If I have to live and live a life knowing that the only one I loved tried to kill me, then I choose death!' She began to plumet towards the ground again. 'I hate you, the only one who stole my heart, Kirashu.' Sarama felt shocked by this last thought, but had no time to change it for her body finally made impact with the ground, and she saw only darkness.
Ahh, the first sequel, I hope you guys like liked it! I know, real sad, and angstish, but still, I like it, but I'm so mean with my characters, lol. They'll be another sequel too which should be more upbeat (I think), with, Kirashu, Sarama, and their child too, hehe. But that'll be after this story is done. Well, don't just sit there! Send me a review. *notices the glares* Erm, pretty please? *Note*- Changed where this fic was, I thought that it would fit better in InuYasha than where it was at.
