Kagome looked at the ground,ice still caked it and it was still cold out.Her black converses scuffed at the road,as if a sad attempt to move the road.Her raven hair was left down to hang and she was clad in a white shirt,an inch from her belly button and a short mini green skirt with plain white sneakers.(A/N:hehehe,changed her school clothes)

She had just gotten off school.Yes,school.She had to finish off her last year of it.This would've been funner if Sango and Miroku hadn't got married last year and ditched the last year of it.They decided now to start a family.Kagome thought it was too soon but maybe if there was such a thing as love,and Miroku and Sango were in it,than,perhaps,it made you go mushy and forget everything.She had to admit,they did seem to click together.Sagno liked to inflict pain on Miroku and he seemed to like it,or maybe he just liked to grope the poor girl.She entered an old mall,one where she used to hang out with the gang.Gawd,how she missed those days.But InuYasha moved away in tenth grade and now Sango and Miroku were gone.InuYasha probably married Kikyo.

She walked into Hot Topic to look for a new shirt.Than a voice spoke up,"Excuse me lady,but I couldn't help but notice just how gothic you look."

Kagome spun around and her eyes locked onto amber ones.She gasped and her chocloate eyes moved up to see ears twitch,perched at the top of his head.Silver,they were silver.His hair was long and shiney,the silver sparkling off the dim lights.She felt like crying with joy but she didn't.

Kagome's mouth dropped,she did not look gothic!She wasn't even wearing black.

"InuYasha.I haven't seen you in a while."she turned away,searching through clothes,"So,how have you been?"

"Uh-good.How are you?"he asked,walking up beside her and leaning in,in hopes that she would look at him.No cigar,she continued to look at the various black clothing.

"Okay I suppose."she sighed,"How's Shessomaru and Rin?"

"Good.Great actually,they're married."he replied.

"Um.."she said,"So,any of your dreams come true?"

"A couple."he asnswered,"But a couples not every one.There's one more wish I want.I'm not sure if I can live without this one wish."

"That's nice."she mummbled.

InuYasha sighed,"Fine!Don't talk to me!Wench!I've got no clue what the hell I've done to you!"

"How about left me for Kikyo!"she yelled.

"We never dated!How could I leave you?!"he yelled back.

"We were friends InuYasha."Kagome said,talking quietly,"But you were too dense and too into Kikyo to even realize that I liked you InuYasha.You promised me,on Valentine's Day,that we would hang together because Hojo broke up with me.I counted on you.I watied for five hours.The next day I came to school and asked you what you did.You said you were out with Kikyo.I told you I waited and you said,'oh sorry.it's just Kik's my girlfriend and you're my friend.I knew you'd understand but Kik...well...' "a small silent tear fell down her face before she walked out.

"Gawd!I'm sorry!"InuYasha kept pace with her.

"I'm afraid sorry just isn't good enough InuYasha."Kagome sighed.

As she continued walking InuYasha stopped.

Kagome's phone rang,right in the middle of a good novel.She sat down the book,sighing and walked over to the phone."Hello."

"Is a Miss Kagome Higurashi there?"a lady asked.

Kagome's brows forrowed.She was in grey sweat pants that she pulled up a little so they crunched up near her knees.She also had a red tank top with little whites skulls scattered around on the shirt.Her raven hair was bounded up into a messy bun."Speaking."

"We understand that you are a good friend of Mr.InuYasha Hanyou,correct?"the lady asked.

Kagome's grip on the phone tightened,"Yes."

"We're calling from the hospital-"

"Is he okay?!What's wrong?What happened?!"Kagome asked.

"He's going to be fine ma'em but it might help if you come her.He keeps asking for you."

Kagome ripped her sweats off and slipped on black jeans that hugged her yet flared at the ends near her black vans with a red wavy strip across it.Her shoe laces were red,standing out.She threw on a small leather jacket and zipped it.Than pulling a string like thing around and tying the meeting thick strips together into a knot.She grabbed a small black purse with needed things and was on her way out the door,not bothering to hang the phone up.

Her car,not built for these roads,was struggling against the fact that it wasn't four-wheel-drive.Her tires slid over the ice and swerved but she pushed on.Finally she ended up at the hospital and ran inside.She shoved through the doors and ran up to the service desk."Hello,I'm here to see InuYasha Hanyou."

The lady there gave her a floor number and a room number.Kagome ran up to the elevator.She pressed the up arrow and hopped into it.She smashed the number two button and it light up an off-white color.It stopped on the floor and Kagome looked at the numbers.254...255...256...257..and yes!258!Kagome shoved the door open and ran into the room.InuYasha had various bandages and was laying in bed,hopeless.

Kagome threw her jacket off and tossed her purse down on a chair with it.She dropped to her kness beside the bed, "Oh InuYasha!What happened?"

"I wasn't paying attention,I was thinking about what you said and I hit a big chuck of ice ahead.Spun my car off track and a truck came in and T-boned me."

"You idiot!"Kagome smacked his arm.

"I take that as you're happy I'm fine?"InuYasha rubbed his arm.

"I guess."Kagome sighed.

"Listen,Kagome.At the mall I wanted to ask you something.You acted like you completly hated me.So now,sitting here with you concerned for me-"

"I'm not concerned!"Kagome pouted and crossed her arms,turning her head.

InuYasha turned it back and smiled,"What I wanna say is..."he stood up and pulled Kagome to her feet.

"You shouldn't be standing!"Kagome cautioned him.

InuYasha smiled and hit his knees,graoning in pain.Kagome pulled him up and sat him on his bed as good as possible.She layed him down and he smiled again.InuYasha grabbed his jacket and pulled a small box out of his one pocket,"Kagome Mi Higurashi,will you marry me?"

Tears of joy streamed down her face,"W-What about Kikyo?"

"I gave her up two years ago!"InuYasha smiled,"For you in trade."


"InuYasha!Stop bugging your sister!Mikka doesn't like that!"Kagome scolded.

"What?"InuYasha asked.

"Not you!InuYasha!"Kagome corrected.

"I am InuYasha!"InuYasha corrected back.

"Not you!That InuYasha!"Kagome jerked her thumb towards a small black haired boy with black dog ears and amber eyes poking a crying little one-year-old- baby.She had silver hair,not yet grown out full way and chocolate eyes.She had normal ears however.

InuYasha smiled and wrapped his hands around Kagome's waist.You know it's Valentine's Day again?Exactly five years since our engagment and four years since our wedding.Kagome smiled and looked at the two rings on her index finger.It was beautiful."I've got a surprise for you Kagome."InuYasha smiled.

"I've got one for you too."Kagome smiled sheepishly.

"I wanna renew our vows!"he answered,"What's your surprise?"

"We're having another baby!"she giggled as InuYasha's eyes buldged and his jaw dropped.

"W-W-What?!"he asked,stunned.

"Just kidding!Miroku and Sango are coming up next week!With baby Rei!They are so young yet have so many kids!Four already!I told her we'd house them and all while they were up here!Won't that be great?!It'll be like a baby-sitting service with six kids!"Kagome replied.

"Ha...hahaha..."InuYasha laughed before he hit the floor,having fainted.

Kagome shook her head,"So gullable!Sango and Miroku are taking our kids off of our hands for a week,not bringing there's for us to watch."

"Mom!"InuYasha Jr. yelled.

"Yea?"Kagome turned away,only to have water squirted right at her.She squealed and ran out,grabbing a super soaker and refilling it in their pool.She blasted the small child and chased him around.They were a happy family and everything was going great but from a nearby bush a girl watched.Dull chocolate eyes on the pale almost completly white skin of the person that intended to break the couple up,kids or no kids.
