Various Degrees
Observation. The concept of observation is often demeaned by the lazy. To observe is mostly thought of as to watch. But that is giving the art, yes observation is an art, a major disservice. To say that observation was a mere act of watching something or someone is to say that speech is merely talk.
To Observe is to analyze, understand, and qualify something. Watching takes no thought process whatsoever but to observe is to see through something so obvious that it’s hidden.
Observation takes time and patience. Lucklily, I have all of that. For the past month I've been setting up the perfect plan to get back at Inuyasha.
I dont particularly want to ruin his life... no not his life... just his reputation.
I digress, Inuyasha has an interesting taste in women... It just so happens that the one that he chose couldnt care any less about him had he been her doormat.
Kikyou is a specimen, a grotesque specimen but a specimen nontheless, that I find rather intriguing. Dont get me wrong, I do believe that she is the most ill and disgusting human being that I have ever met. But that is what is intriguing.
I had been aware that something was definately up with the Kikyou girl when I heard her talking to her sister about someone named Kidomaru. It seemed a little fishy.
Not that I was surprised. I had already surmised that Kikyou was a power hungry and snobbish. Of course, that was only skin deep...
Farther down somewhere in Kikyou's being lay a demented heart... yes, it would be easy to manipulate her... Sooo easy.
Kikyou had a problem with money...
She only dated the richest, and the chit actually decided to marry Inuyasha because his father was the richest...
I find it amusing that she would even think that any money would go to her.
Kagura is only a small amount less horrid than her. Hmm... I wonder if I should tell Sesshoumaru what I've planned....
No time to wonder right now though...
This will be too easy. I had already planted evidence against Inuyasha... Actually, I hadnt done anything except make a phone call...
It was perfect really... show the witch a man with more money... or at least one who appeared to have so much more money than the one who she decided to marry...
Carelessly my contact approached me and left the papers on my desk.
"Rich as expensive chocolate."
It was said loud enough for others to hear and yet soft enough to be considered a conversational tone.
I could practically feel the gears in Kikyou's head turning. Oh I knew she would catch on to that...
But I also knew that she wouldnt just jump without knowing how high it was she was about to leap. And oh, I knew she would leap.
I gave my contact a nod and stood. "Of course." I mutter slightly. It was just my luck that the only ones in the room were Kikyou, Kagura, and myself. It was actually the lounge but hah!
I motioned for my contact to follow me, "I'll escort you out." I say softly. It was only diplomatic that I left so that she could sate her curious appetite.
As my contact and I walk out of the room, I nod before standing outside the door. I paused outside of the door to watch out of the corner of my eye as Kikyou and her sister stare at the manilla envelope on the table.
I had no doubt that they would eat up that information with gusto...
I would feel guilty if I wasnt having so much diabolical fun destroying that... Oh I wont stop there...
I almost feel sorry for Inuyasha.
