~~Chapter 36: The Blushing Bride~~

“---oing to meet with her today to make sure everything is going smoothly.”

InuYasha rounded the corner and entered the living room holding a crying Miya in his arms. He stood on the doorway, with his ears flattened against his skull and a grim look on his face. “I can't get her to shut up, I think she misses the bastard.”

“InuYasha,” Kagome rolled her eyes, standing up to pluck the infant from his grasp. She made a face at Miya, rolling her tongue out at the child who giggled wildly, tears forgotten. InuYasha snorted before leaving back to the living room.

“You're certainly good with children, Kagome.” Mama commented, eyeing her daughter cautiously. The sparkling ring on Kagome's finger caught the light of the sun, making it glow in a beautiful velvety way.

“Oh, when InuYasha and I have pups, I hope they look just like him.”

A snort was carried in to the kitchen. Kagome giggled. “Seriously, what mother wouldn't want their pup to have that beautiful silvery hair and golden eyes?”

Miya blinked.

“I hope they have his ears,” Mrs. Higurashi said, looking at her daughter. “Don't you?”

“Absolutely. The more InuYasha-e the better.”

Mrs. Higurashi laughed in a very `Kagome' fashion before setting her tea cup down and smiling sweetly. Miya jumped off Kagome's lap. “Nu'Yasha!” She squealed before slowly wobbling her way in to the living room.

“Nu'Yasha!”

Kagome watched her go. “She adores InuYasha.”

“I can see that. She's adorable.”

“Isn't she? She's an angel.”

“I'm sure you're children will be just as cute.”

Kagome blushed. “Of course they will be, Mama.”

“Ha! Die you fucker,” Raidon growled as his fingers moved around the game station controller nimbly, smirking when his brother's character's head blew up.

“What the hell, Raidon? I'm on your team,” Kin complained waiting for his character to `fix' itself so he could keep playing.

“Tough luck, baby sister,” Raidon said, watching the screen intently before dodging Kin's fist for calling him `sister'. He watched as his character burned by the `flame-thrower' of Zachary.

“Kiss my ass, Raidon.” Zachary said as he moved his character to stomp of Raidon's character's already dead body.

“I'll annihilate you all! Watch and learn bitches,” Kiyoshi growled, throwing a bomb in the middle of the rest of the characters, effectively blowing them all up again. The screen darkened before Kiyoshi's character was declared the winner of the game.

Kin snorted. “Halo 5 can suck my----”

“Is there any game in particular I can help you locate?” A young sale's associate asked them, her pretty hazel eyes staring at all four of them intently.

“Nah, but you can probably help Kiyoshi here,” Raidon said, pushing his twin forward. “Go on Kiyoshi, buy yourself a kick ass game. Preferably something war-like.” Raidon said, slapping a bill in to Kiyoshi's hand and pushing him with the sale's girl.

“You act as if Kiyoshi can't get a girl on his own.” Zachary said, moving on to another game station.

“We're all either engaged or married, he's the only one that isn't. I just want him to be happy.”

“Maybe he's happy having wild monkey sex with complete strangers,” Kin mused, picking up the game guitar. “Hey, I bet I can rock your asses with this guitar.”

Zachary made a face. “That sounds so…wrong.”

Kin rolled his eyes. “Come on little girls, I challenge you to Guitar Hero.”

“You're on, baby brother. You take bass, I'll do the guitar.” Raidon said, picking up the guitar besides Kin.

“Hiroshi's birthday is coming up,” Zachary said slowly as he looked through the games. “Would he appreciate Gears of War?”

“The first one was the best one,” Raidon said, hitting the notes as quickly as he could in `expert' mode. “The second one sucked and the third one was almost as good as the first.”

“Yeah, says the King of Gears of War. Raidon didn't get out of his apartment for days and when he did open his door, he stunk.” Kin said, frowning when he saw his brother had a better score than he did. “This X-Box is broken, I always kick your ass.”

“Pfft! You wish, I'm the oldest therefore…the best of all three.”

Kin put the guitar down and glared at the screen. Raidon walked over to stand besides Zachary, stuffing his hands in his leather jacket. He grabbed the back of the water-youkai's white tee-shirt and dragged him to the children's video game section of the store. “Hiroshi is six…I think…get him a kiddie game.”

Zachary rolled his eyes. “No kid likes a kiddie game. He can play Gears of War, I'll get him the first one.”

Zachary's blue eyes narrowed on Raidon, who was picking up random children's games and grinning. “I'll get him Pokemon, who doesn't like all those hundreds of Pokemon games?”

“I think he already owns half of them, Shippo keeps his game shelf updated.” Kin said, taking off imaginary lint off his navy blue tee-shirt.

“Damn, does he have Gears of War?”

“I don't think so,” Kin said, looking up at the shelves stocked with games. “I was just thinking of getting him one of those remote control helicopters.”

“Pfft! That's a boring gift.” Raidon snorted. Kin frowned.

“How is that boring? He can whack his father's head with the helicopter.”

“Keh! That was just you.”

“Ah, but did father ever get mad?”

“I don't think so. Fuck the helicopter, get him a drum set.”

Kin snapped his fingers. “I love your thinking, brother.”

Zachary rolled his eyes. “I can't believe Akina is related to you two.”

“She'd probably want to get him a drum set, but we're beating her to it.”

“I'm getting him a paintball gun set,” Kiyoshi pitched in, a plastic bag in his hand.

“Shippo will hate you forever, that's a great gift. Did you get a number?” Raidon asked and Kiyoshi nodded.

“Figures,” Zachary snorted, walking towards the exit of the store. “Lets go see if the girls are done.”

“I doubt it,” Kin said, walking along with his brothers and brother-in-law. The four males attracted a lot of female attention. Raidon looked like the classic `bad-boy' dressed in jeans that hugged his rear in just the way that made the teenage girls look back, a black shirt and his leather jacket. His long black hair was always kept up in a ponytail, like his father's. Kiyoshi, being his twin, had the identical features Raidon possessed but in a much less threatening away. While Raidon came off aggressive, Kiyoshi came off as being sweet and tender. And his attire was much less `badish' than that of his baka brother's. He just had on jeans, a white tee-shirt and a black sweater over it.

Kin, on the other hand, looked like their mother and his unique features also made the girl's heads swirl back to look at him. His dark hair, a darker shade than his mother's, was also kept in a constant ponytail. He wore dark wash jeans and a fitted navy blue tee-shirt. And then there was their sister's mate, the water-youkai Zachary who looked the most `normal'. He wore the jeans and a fitted white tee-shirt. And while the four were talking and humoring amongst themselves, they failed the realize how much attention was being thrown their way.

“Oi, lets go get food, I'm starving,” Kiyoshi said, changing directions and going towards where the food court was. “I bet we can eat and the girls still won't be done.”

“That's true.” Raidon agreed.

“Women these days,” Kin said, following his brothers. Zachary just rolled his eyes, but followed silently.

“I think InuYasha will howl if he sees Kagome in that,” Rini said, tucking a strand of her red hair behind her ear. Akina giggled, putting the lingerie back on to its dresser.

“What did you wear on your wedding night, Rini?” Ruby asked, picking out several red `costumes'.

“Something that made Raidon howl,” she giggled, picking out a set that came with cat ears. “Look, I bet InuYasha will get a kick out of this. Dress her up as a cat.”

“He can chase her,” Ruby chipped in, grabbing the set. “What's her size?”

“I would say small, but those boobs of hers aren't that `small' so get her a medium.” Rini said to Ruby, who chuckled, but did as the tiny girl instructed.

“You have the creams?” Akina asked. Ruby nodded.

“Yeah, nothing overly strong. The ones you picked were nice, Akina, you having that nose your uncle has.”

“Duh!” Akina said, walking through Victoria's Secret until she came in to the pajama section. “Shall we accompany her catty thing with a pajama?”

“A little one, though,” Rini said, starting to look around the mini robes. “Just enough so that if they decide to get down and dirty he can easily just li---”

Girls,” A new voice joined in. “You shouldn't talk so loud, you make it sound so wrong.”

“Alex!” Rini cried, hugging the newly blonde Alexandra. “Kami, I almost can't recognize you with the hair.”

“It looks nice on you though,” Akina said, lifting her hand to touch the silkiness of Alexandra's hair.

“You're baka brother didn't think so,” Alexandra said, crossing her arms over her chest.

“Kiyoshi is just a baka by birth, ignore him”

Ruby and Rini nodded in agreement. Alexandra laughed. “My father didn't like it much either so I'm just dying it back before the wedding.”

Rini clucked her tongue. “Hmm, maybe you should buy yourself one of these Alex.”

“And why is that?”

“So that Kiyoshi can pounce on you. That boy is dearly sexy, I don't see why you've rejected him so much.” Rini said nonchalantly, winking at Akina.

“Bite your tongue, Rini! If Raidon hears you saying that, he'll go berserk.”

Rini rolled her pretty aqua eyes. “We all know those three are sexy, Raidon is mine, Kin is Ruby's and Kiyoshi's been chasing Alex forever. Hell, when Raidon and I first met, it was Kiyoshi who I liked.”

Alexandra's violet eyes caught Rini's gaze. “Really?”

She nodded. “Yup. Raidon intimidated me, but Kiyoshi was so sweet. He took me out on a date.”

Akina leaned against the pink wall, grinning. “Ah and then Raidon laid out his charm and took Rini in to his arms.”

“Yup.” Rini said, grabbing the creams from Ruby and making her way to the cash register. “But I gave him a chance. Miss. Alex? Are you sure you're not dying your hair back because Kiyoshi said he didn't like it?”

Alexandra blushed. “Why would I care what Kiyoshi thinks?”

Rini shrugged. “Because you secretly desire him.”

The wind-youkai rolled her eyes. “He's to boyish.”

Ruby sighed. “But its their boyish charms that the turn on.”

“Oh absolutely.” Rini agreed, wiggling her eyebrows. “Come on, we get laid by those brothers so why can't you just spread `em wide op----”

Rini!” Akina slapped her hand over Rini's mouth, effectively cutting off her sentence. “Can we just pay the lady please? Kami, those are my baka brothers! Talking about this is sick and twisted.”

Rini laughed.

::*::*::*::* ::*::*::*::* ::*::*::*::* ::*::*::*::* ::*::*::*::* ::*::*::*::*

“We had the most uncomfortable conversation in the history of conversations.” Akina said while Kagome finished zippering up the bridesmaid dress. She giggled.

“What sort of conversation?”

“Rini and Ruby thought it'd be nice to talk about getting laid by my baka brothers.”

Kagome shook her head. “I thank Kami for not letting me have part in that conversation.”

After she had sent InuYasha and his groomsmen to pick the menu for the wedding, she had taken her own bridesmaids to try on their dresses. And the hanyou had almost flipped when he was told he would pick everything in the menu. `As long as he doesn't pick just Ramen, I'm fine' She and InuYasha had agreed the wedding would be silver and maroon, to honor is youkai color. Kagome came out of the dressing room with Akina only to have Miya jump in to her arms.

“Dress?”

“Yes, Miya, you can try on your dress to. You'll look precious in it.”

The child giggled. Kagome looked up from her seat on the couch of the bridal comfort room of the store to see her bridesmaids. Rini looked absolutely stunning in her dress, her red hair accenting the dress further and her unique eyes drawing a soft yet strong approach to the fabric. Ruby, with her tall frame and deep eyes, wore the dress at a bodily advantage. It clung to her curves and accented her hips, which were full.

Akina looked like a doll in the dress, her sweet and innocent face adding a girlish feature the others did not posses. Her old best friend, Ayumi wore the dress in a simplified elegance. Her bright eyes tended to draw away the sparkle the maroon dress offered, but the absolute elegance Ayumi carried herself with amplified the fall of the gown. And Alexandra, the strong wind-youkai looked stunning. She looked like a Barbie, the dress clinging to her body in the most perfect of ways, accenting her features and adding to her already aristocratic nature.

And because three of her other girls were in the United States, Kagome had the store deliver the remaining three dresses to Emma, Sharei, and Victoria so they could make the necessary little edits and bring the dresses upon their arrival to Japan a week before the wedding, which was only three months away.

“Oh, these girls are dreams!” The manager of the store gushed. She looked at Kagome, who was inspecting each of the girls in their full garment, the platinum shoes included. Kagome bounced Miya on her hip as she turned to the woman.

“Um, I chose the barets for their hair already. The platinum ones?”

The brown haired woman nodded, clapping once. “Yes! I remember, shall I bring them to you?”

Kagome shook her head. “No, I will pick them up a week before the wedding and---” Miya pulled on her hair. “---Miya don't do that. And, uh, oh yes and keep the shoes in storage also please. Adjust the dresses as necessary.”

The woman titled her head to look at Miya. “She's so cute. Is she yours?”

Kagome shook her head. “She's my fiance's niece.”

The woman made a sound that sounded like an `ohh' before having her assistants mark the dresses where they needed to be slightly adjusted. The four bridesmaids stood still, letting the others work. “So Kagome,” Rini started “I heard Miss. Alex got you some toys for your bachelorette party.”

“Toys?” Kagome echoed, raising an eyebrow. Miya chewed on her finger.

“Yeah, toys. I must say, Kagome, Alexandra has exquisite taste in toys.” Rini winked at her. Kagome coughed.

“Uhh, am I thinking what I'm supposed to be thinking?”

One of the girls working on the dresses coughed and blushed. Rini giggled. “I saw some handcuffs thrown in there to. I think Kagome'll have a blast don't you girls?”

Alexandra nodded. “Oh definitely. Only the most exotic and best for our favorite bride.”

Kagome groaned softly, blushing. “That's looks painful, Kagome.” Ruby said, giggling.

“You're all horrible,” Kagome mumbled. “My sex life is that interesting?”

Rini waved her hand. “Don't be silly, Kagome. A bride needs to have some fun on her wedding night. I bet InuYasha is all dominatrix in bed.”

“That's hot.” Alexandra started. “Being all rough and dominating over your ma---I mean wife. Does that turn you on Kagome?”

Kagome groaned, slapping her hands over her overheated flesh. “Yes” she squeaked. Rini laughed.

“She's confessed! And she didn't deny InuYasha going all Domino on her. Alexandra's present will help you, Kaggie, you can command the bedroom or wherever you decide to do it.”

“Oh Kami,” Kagome moaned `Earth swallow me now'

“Maybe we're assuming Kagome has been submissive this whole time.” Ruby pointed out. Rini clucked her tongue.

“True that. Hey, Kagome, do you dominate him sometimes?” Ayumi asked. Rini nodded her head in agreement.

“Do you dominate Raidon?” Kagome shot back, throwing the spotlight on Rini.

The girl held no shame. “I may be small, but I rule the sex, Kagome.”

Kagome coughed. Ruby laughed. Alexandra looked away, giggling softly. Ayumi blushed. “You girls are so different than when we first met.”

“We're all family, we've grown on each other.” Ruby said, grinning. She flipped her long golden blonde locks over her shoulder. “Alexandra and Kiyoshi are only a matter of time.”

“Ah, yes!” Kagome stood up, glancing back to make sure Miya was okay. “Alexandra Taka is your future.”

Alexandra blushed. “Bite your tongue, Kagome!”

“No, I can feel it!” Rini cried, throwing her hands up in the air. “Alexandra and Kiyoshi…Kiyoshi and Alexandra…And you're cute little kids, they'll be funny yet domineering.”

“Get off whatever you're taking, Rini.”

Rini rolled her pretty eyes. “Oh please, woman, you're my future sister-in-law.”

Alexandra snorted. “Not hardly. Wasn't he drooling all over that girl that came with Kagome a few weeks ago?”

Kagome nodded. “Victoria?”

“Yeah that's the one. He went up and down with her.”

“Well, buddy, can you blame him? She's your maid of honor, right Kagome?”

“Yeah, she's coming back about a week and a half before the wedding. Sharei and Emma also.”

Rini nodded. “Victoria was beautiful, Alex. And she had Kiyoshi smiling like an idiot, but she didn't stay for him did she?”

Alexandra made a face. “Well no, but still.”

Kagome rolled her eyes. “Victoria made Kiyoshi content, alright. But you make him happy in a completely different sense. He always looks at you with puppy eyes.”

“He's lovesick” Ayumi said.

“Completely.” Ruby agreed.

Kagome snapped her fingers. “And when Victoria does come back, Alex, have no doubt Kiyoshi will look for her. She liked spending time with him and he obviously liked her. I understand Kiyoshi has loved you forever, but you've never done anything. What is he supposed to do? Tail you forever?”

“Well said, Kaggie. She has a point. He can't wait around forever. Maybe Victoria is the one, but he was so sure you were the one.” Rini added, crossing her arms over her chest.

Alexandra sighed. “You're pressuring me.” She whispered. `I. Do. Not. Like. Kiyoshi. Taka.'

`You say that everyday, Aletijia.' Alexandra cringed at the `use' of her real name. She sighed and looked at the mirror, seeing Kiyoshi's smiling face.

“I think you'd make a beautiful bride next to Kiyoshi,” Ruby whispered for her youkai ears to pick up. “He really does love you even if he's trying to convince us otherwise.”

Alexandra grimaced. “Alright ladies, you can change and we'll have your dresses ready in a week.” The manager said, smiling at them.

Kagome nodded, picking up Miya. “Alright, baby, lets see your dress on you.”

She sauntered out of the room and followed the manager to let her see Miya's Flower Girl dress.

“Oi! Hurry up, I don't got all fucking day.” InuYasha snapped, waiting for all his groomsmen to change back to their regular clothes for then to go choose the menu----something that InuYasha had to admit, he was excited about. He was going to go food testing today.

`Yup, eat for hours and then choose a few plates. No big deal. I get dessert to.'

“Keep your panties on, Uncle,” Kiyoshi grinned as he walked out of the dressing room, standing besides InuYasha.

“Feh! Do you want to get punched, Kiyoshi?”

The youkai shook his head. “Nope, but you're being impatient.” His uncle rolled his eyes.

“There,” Kouga said as he and the rest of the men walked out of the dressing room. “We're done. Lets go so the fatass can get fatter.”

“Oi, fuck you, Kouga.”

Kouga laughed. “You have to admit, you've gained a few pounds over the centuries.”

“I can still kick your ass.”

Kin shook his head, pushing his father towards the exit of the store. “Lets go already. I'm pretty hungry myself.”

InuYasha's ears twitched as he got in to the car, sitting on something that poked his rear. He growled, raising his hips and digging under him to bring out a plastic bag. “What the hell is this?”

Kiyoshi sat besides him. “It's a game. I bought Assassin's Creed.”

“No! Fuck, which one?”

Kiyoshi shrugged. “I think the first one. I never played it.”

“I've been meaning to pick it up. I tried playing the third one and I was fucking lost. Good, lend me yours.”

“Kiss my ass, Raidon, I'm gonna play it first.”

“And what's this?” InuYasha picked up a small piece of paper. “A number?”

“Yeah, it's the sale's associate girl”

“I thought you were drooling all over Victoria?”

Kiyoshi nodded. “I was, but she isn't here anymore. She said if we were meant to be together, we'd find each other in the future.”

“Feh! I thought you were drooling all over Sueki's daughter.” InuYasha snorted, throwing the game and the number behind him.

Kiyoshi laughed half heartedly. “Alexandra? Nah, she's a lost cause. She never liked me anyways, I've moved on.”

“That's good, pup.” InuYasha said, looking out the window of Kouga's car.

Kiyoshi nodded. `I'm over her. Yeah, I am. Right?'
