Chapt er One: Fight

" Kaze no Kizu!" A voice screamed as a red figure threw a large fang on the ground. Blades of yellow light shot from the blade to the screaming group of youkai, disintegrating them on contact. The figure straightened and muttered a quick 'Keh',
"InuYasha!" A girl screamed in terror, the sound ear-splitting making the red figure grimace in pain.
A silver haired hanyou turned to see his friend and secret love being held within a large Ogre's grasp, her tiny body slowly being crushed to death. "Kagome!" InuYasha screamed before leaping off the ground to save her.
Kagome moaned as the large beast squeezed the hand that trapped her more tightly. Sweat trickling down her cheek as her body crumbled under the phenonmanol strength of the monster, the girl gasped when she felt her bones were starting to quiver, protesting against the bending they were recieving.
"In-InuYa..Yasha.." She gritted out. Her vision blurring, she felt her bones cracking underneath the titanic strength. Hearing InuYasha call her name made her heart sing with hope.
Her heart pounding, the miko screamed, "InuYasha!" Gaspingfor air as the chuckling creature applied more pressure to her small body, she felt herself fastly sliding to unconciousness.
A pair of chocolate eyes narrowed angrily as a warrior turned her large cat, Kirara, to the thing hurting her sister figure.
"Hirikatsou!" Sango the Taijya yelled fiercely as she threw her large boomerang weapon at the large creature.
Groaning loudly as it sliced the air aimlessly; the large weapon hurtled towards the stunned monster, its target too dim-witted to think the tiny boomerang compaired to his larger body could inflict any damage. The Hirikatsou made contact with the mouldy green skin of the now shrieking Ogre, his pain evident in his howls. Kagome watched in relief as the weapon sliced threw the hand holding her captive but felt her worries come back to her again as she started plummetting to the ground. Kagome screamed as she began to fall to the earth, its hard unrelenting spand coming frighteningly closer and closer to her or she to it. Just as she was almost about to meet the ground, the miko felt her breath leave her as a pair of strong, comforting arms wrap around her securely, holding her too a muscled chest.
Looking up, the girl smiled softly when a golden eyed InuYasha looked down at her with anger and concern. Floating to the ground, he steadied her on her shaking feet.
"Daijibou?" He asked worriedly.
Kagome nodded and smiled. "Hai."
Nodding, Kagome watched the hanyou tense. InuYasha blinked then dove to the left with the surprised girl in his arms as the Ogre threw his club at them. Turning to face his humongous rival, InuYasha quickly pushed Kagome behind him and growled at the monster before him. "Keh! You just don't know when to give up do you teme?" He yelled to the dumb beast.
A jingle of golden rings against metal rang through the battle. "Let me assist you InuYasha!" Miroku the monk declared as he unwrapped his Kazanna.
Raising his palm to the sky, he allowed the void in his hand to open. Everyone watched as he sucked in the groaning monoke. With one last groan of fear and anger, the minimized beast and remaining youkai disappeared into the black tunnel.
Silence entered the clearing as only a few leaves rustled from the after breeze of the houshi's Kazanna.
Golden eyes flashing, InuYasha turned to the blinking Kagome. "What the Hell were you doing? How did you get caught by that?!" He demanded hottily, his shaking claw pointing to the bare area where the Ogre once stood.
Kagome blinked in shock from the sudden verbal assualt but her quick mind soaked in the hanyou's rude demands and her own anger rose with the color in her face. "I was shooting arrows when he surprised me! He came out of no where!" She yelled defensivley, her brown eyes flashing.
InuYasha twitched at that rather lame excuse. His large eyes narrowing angrily as he became more annoyed, he screamed shrilly at the red-faced girl, "How could you have missed that big thing coming at you?! Its bigger then you fucking house!"
Sango and Miroku sighed as they watched the couple quarreled once again. Shippou came from the bushes he had been hiding in and sighed in exasperation. "Baka's." He muttered quietly to himself. Kirara mewled in agreement with the kit.

Their noses a few milli-meteres away, they glared at eachother stubbornly.
His breaths coming in shorter pants from fury, his golden eyes flashing and glimmering like polished gold, InuYasha snorted at that. "Just like you don't have a fucking brain Kagome?! I had to save your ass again! Like every other damn time!" The half-breed snarled, throwing his handds up into the air furiously.
Kagome drew in a sharp, startled breath. The group stiffened when they heard the hanyou's last remark, wincing as they saw the blinding fury that etched its way on Kagome's face. InuYasha cringed at the deep-set hurt in the futuristic girl's eyes, her tiny fists clenched at her sides shaking hard with her anger and hurt. "InuYasha, Osuwari!" The future miko yelled vehemently.
InuYasha yelped in surprise as his body met the hard Earth. Kagome wasn;t finished there. Her eyes hard like chipped ice, she screamed continously; "Osuwari osuwari osuwari osuwari OSUWARI!"
Kagome drew in a sharp, startled breath. The group stiffened when they heard the hanyou's last remark, wincing as they saw the blinding fury that etched its way on Kagome's face. The half-breed yelped every time his body met the ground harshly. Continued felt tears gathering in her eyes while she sat InuYasha to oblivion. When she was through with him he wouldn't be able to walk straight ever again! The houshi watched wide-eyed as Kagome invoked her wrath upoin InuYasha. Seeing that there was no time for this lover's spat, he coughed trying to gain Kagome's attention. The miko stalled on her last sit-comand, sending her furious narrowed gaze on the now nervous monk.
Drawing in a calming breath to soth his fear of Lady Kagome, Miroku stepped forward trying blocking the growling InuYasha and glaring Kagome from each other. "Onegai, Kagome-sama. We do not have time for this. Naraku just attacked us for the shikon kakera. We should continue our journey and find a village to shelter us tonight." The houshi stated softly
The girl continued to glare at the monk. Glancnig at the growling hanyou behind Miroku's back, she frowned. Pushing away her tears and fury, she reluctantly nodded. "Hai, you're right Miroku." She mumbled, her gaze now straying anywhere but InuYasha's face and Miroku's penetrating violet orbs. The houshi inhaled and exhaled a calming breath. One needed a saint's patience to be able to put up with the half-breed boy for only a few minutes. His purple eyes now close to black, Miroku sent a piercing gaze on the now quieting boy. "That was for Kagome-sama, InuYasha. We all know you care for her deeply but how you demanded how the incident occured was not only rude but highly lacking gentleness a woman such as Kagome-sama deserves." The monk paused, giving the now grumbling InuYasha to ponder his words.

Sango stepped forward and nodded in agreement with her fiancée. "Kagome-chan is riding with me and Kirara. Miroku will stay with InuYasha." The Taijya glanced at the muttering hanyou.
Miroku watched the young girl pack her bag and glance at her bow and arrows with a sadness he could barely try to comprehend. Shaking his head, the intelligent handsome young man cast a hard glare at the hanyou. "Why must you be so brash with her, InuYasha? She cares for as you do her. Why could you not show your concern more gently?" He asked sternly.
InuYasha just stiffened and fixated his hard, golden eyes on Miroku. “Screw off Miroku! It's none of your business!” He muttered.

The silent youkai raised a silver brow at the hanyou. "This Sesshomaru will be assisting you and you're...." He looked at the ningen group with cold disgust, "Tachi with ridding of Naraku." He stated coolly.
InuYasha blinked then snarled. "Fuck no! Go and get yourself killed! You are no damn way joining us against Naraku!"
Kagome watched the two brothers. Sesshomaru wished to join their group? 'He is very strong. He would make a very good ally.'
These thoughts echoed through the rest of the Inu Tachi's mind.
"Get the fuck out of here before I slice you to graffiti!" InuYasha threatened as he glared at the glaring Sesshomaru.
"Hold on InuYasha!" Kagome called.
InuYasha turned to the ningen miko as did Sesshomaru. Blinking at the sudden attention as everyone stared at her, Kagome coughed. Looking at InuYasha and Sesshomaru she quickly said, "Maybe we should let him join, InuYasha."
A stream of loud curses shocked the nearby animals, causing them to flee to their nests in fear.
