Ch. 3 The Night Over

“Well let's get started on this list shall we” said Inuyasha. “Ok but first could we go get some clothing from our houses for tomorrow” asked Rin. “Ok” said Sesshy. Both boys picked up there girl and ran towards there houses and when they got there they packed and met back in the living room. “Uhh… I have to inform you that we have no available rooms for you unless you sleep with us or you sleep on the couch” said Inuyasha shrugging his shoulders. “Im not giving up a bed so im in the bed” said Kagome. “Same goes for me” said Rin. The boys lead the girls down the hallway again to where there rooms were. They both put there stuff down on the boys bed and took off to do the first thing.

“To the Velcro wall” said Inuyasha. They walked to the Velcro wall room and when they got in there the boys asked them to take off there shoes and socks. When they did they walked into a room that had a blow up floor and all the walls even the ceiling were Velcro covered. “Ok go over there and get in a suet we have all sizes, it should go by the size you ware” said Sesshy. They all went over and Kagome found a neon green suet and got into it and Rin found a neon pink suet and got into it. Well except the zipper it was on the back and the suet's were skin tight so they couldn't do there own zipper. “Uh help” said Rin and Kagome. Both boys walked over and helped them zip the suet up.

“Yeah” yelled Rin and running as fast as she could jumped at the last minute and stuck about 15 feet up the wall. “Hey down there are you suppose to just peal off or what” asked Rin. “Just lean forward and you'll fall off” said Sesshy. Rin did and started to fall forgetting that she was 15 feet off the ground so Sesshy jumped to catch her. “Thanks” said Rin once she was on the ground. “I wanna try something and I don't think it will work but oh well, please clear the way im gonna fall on one of you” said Kagome. They all cleared the way of the wall. Kagome ran at the wall full force but instead of attaching to the wall she was running at she used her feet and pushed off the wall toward the ceiling. She ended up sticking to it with her back.

“Uh… guys how high am I off the floor” asked Kagome. “About 30 feet why” asked Inuyasha. “This is cool you all look so tiny” said Kagome laughing. Inuyasha took one large jump and stuck next to Kagome. “Now how do we get down without dieing” asked Kagome. “I didn't think of that” said Inuyasha. “HUH?” asked Kagome. “Just kidding not many people we bring over can stick to the ceiling like this” said Inuyasha. Then all of a sudden you heard “INCOMMING” and saw Rin flying and stick next to Kagome. “Wow it is high up here” said Rin.

“Ok to get down all you have to do is arch your back and you'll fall but even if you hit the mat you'll be fine it's made that way” said Inuyasha falling off the ceiling and landing on his feet. Kagome whispered something to Rin and she nodded and all of a sudden Kagome counted “1…2…3…GO” and both girls pealed off the ceiling and did 2 twists a forward roll and landed on there hands on the mat then did a back round off and then landed on there feet facing the boys. Both boys eyes were popping out of there heads.

“What so we took a bit of gymnastics” said Kagome shrugging her shoulders. “Yeah we were the best in the class” said Rin doing the ending pose. They all velcroed for a bit longer then got unsuited and left. “Where are we going next” asked Kagome. “How about the DDR room I want to wipe the floor with all of you” said Inuyasha? “In your dreams” said Kagome. “Is that a challenge” asked Inuyasha. “You bet” said Kagome. “Do you have any interest in going to the arcade Kagome” asked Rin. “No, do you have any interest in playing DDR” asked Kagome. “No” said Rin. “Ok then whoever finishes first finds the other” said Sesshy.

“Whatever” said Inuyasha dragging Kagome off in the other direction that Sesshy and Rin were going. Inuyasha and Kagome got in the room and turned on the big screen TV and set it up so they were both on standard. They two games and they were both tied. “Wow your good” said Inuyasha. “You're not to bad yourself” said Kagome. They played the last game and Inuyasha won by 5 points. “What that's cheap, but good job” said Kagome shrugging her shoulders.

In the arcade Sesshy was winning most of the games only a few times Rin won. “How did you get so good” asked Rin. “When you live with an arcade in your house what else are you going to do with it” said Sesshy. Just then Kagome and Inuyasha walked looking tired out. “Where to next” asked Rin. “How about we go to the garden so I can help Kagome on her homework and we can get something to drink and maybe eat” said Inuyasha. “Ok” said everyone. They got Kagome's homework and went out to the garden then Inuyasha ran a little bell located behind the door and someone came out with a menu for food and drinks. They all said what they wanted to eat and drink and then Inuyasha helped Kagome before dinner.

Kagome finally got done with her homework and the food came out. When they were done it was 6:30 p.m. “Ok to the go carts and batting cages” said Inuyasha. “YEAH” said Rin skipping around the group. “Wow, you have a lot of energy” said Sesshy. “Yep” said Rin skipping. When they got there Kagome and Rin were shocked at how big the go cart track was, in fact it was as big as Kagome's house and it went up and down on bridges and stuff. “Holy crap this thing is huge” said Kagome. “Yeah kinda” said Rin. “I guess we did go overboard on the size” said Inuyasha.

“You're all goin down” said Kagome jumping in the first car witch happened to be green, then Inuyasha got in the next one witch was red, Sesshy got in the next one that was silver, and Rin got in the one that was pink. “Ok turn the knob on the car in the front up as fast as you want your car to go and you can adjust it as you go, but I would recommend starting slow and try to keep up” said Inuyasha. They were all lined up in a strait line then the green light went on. The boys didn't expect this but both girls had there cars up as fast as possible.

They went around 6 times then the gate opened for them to go back in. The order was Rin and Inuyasha tied and Sesshy and Kagome tied. “To the batting cages” said Rin jumping up from her car. They went to the batting cages and hit a few balls. Inuyasha kept hitting home runs. When Sesshy hit a home run thought he cracked the bat and put a dent in the metal wall. “Gulp don't get in the way when he's mad with a bat” said Rin. Kagome just laughed. Then the girls had there turn they just looked at the boys like they had grown 2 heads. “Don't tell me you don't know how to bat” said Inuyasha. “Uh about that” said Kagome. “You too” Sesshy asked. “Yeah” said Rin.

Both boys got behind there girls and put there hands over there hands causing the girls to blush and there scent spike. Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru just looked at each other and winked. They showed the girls how to bat then stepped aside so they could do it themselves. Rin didn't miss one but Kagome missed a few, both there aims were good thought. “I have an idea how about we do the bungee jump and the spa tonight and the rest tomorrow if you don't mind spending another night here” said Inuyasha. “Ok” said Kagome and Rin in unison.

They walked to the bungee jump and got strapped in as fast as they could in 30 seconds and then the things they were in raised off the ground. All of a sudden Rin started to laugh. “Rin are you sure your not smoking something” said Kagome starting to laugh too. “Yeah but are you sure your not” asked Rin. Both girls just stared at each other then broke out laughing again. Pretty soon they weren't touching the trampoline underneath them unless they bounced. Once the girls got over there laughing fit they looked at each other. “You remember doing this in gymnastics” asked Kagome. “Yeah 5 bounces to start then a front flip and a back flip” said Rin doing just that. “Yeah then another huge bounce and a double front flip to the splits” said Kagome again doing what she said.

“Yeah then stand back up, bounce again and then land on your hands and flip over and bounce up again and to a half front flip and a half back flip to the end stance” said Rin. “Yeah I remember that” said Kagome doing the whole routine with Rin in sync. “Wow you're really good” said Sesshy. “Thanks” said Rin. After a few more minutes of bouncing they got off. “YEAH spa time” said Kagome. “YEAH” said Rin. “Follow us but first get your suits” said Inuyasha. “Ok” said Kagome running to get her bathing suit and Rin's then following the boys to a little room with 3 bamboo flaps. “Ok one is to the hot springs where you need to soak for a bit then the other is to the massages and the last one is to the pool and steam room” said Sesshy. “Ok so what now” asked Rin. “Well you get changed into your bathing suits and go into the hot springs. Then while were waiting we call the massage people well actually 4 and after about 20 minutes they come and get us and we walk into the other room where they set up 4 massage tables with 4 blankets to cover with and we undressed and under them and get our massages and do other stuff the rest of the night” said Inuyasha.

“Ok turn around” said Rin. Both boys heard them getting undressed and putting on there bikinis and set there clothing in the massage room on the shelves there. “Ok turn around now” said Kagome. They turned around to see the girls that were barely covered by the bikinis. They waved goodbye and walked into the springs leaving the boys staring at the air where they just were. Then they heard two splashes and giggling. Both boys got changed as fast as possible and walked in. Then walked in and plopped into the water. “To think you have a hot springs in your basement I think I could enjoy living here, can I move in” asked Rin. “I second that” said Kagome.

“Fine with us we may have to add a second wing onto the house or you will have to sleep in the basement or the beds available were practically lonely here. It could be like a free dorm since our family is all dead we get everything in this place free until we both get out of school” said Inuyasha. “Hey no fare then I should have been able to keep my house” said Rin. “Well our father was super rich and it was in his will along with a heaping load of cash and he was with the government” said Sesshy. “That's so cool I could finally get out of Sango and Miroku's way, thought I think im the only one keeping Sango from getting pregnant” said Rin laughing.

“You're probably right” said Kagome laughing. “Hey don't kill yourselves over there” said Inuyasha. All of a sudden Rin started singing Everybody's Fool by evanescence…

(Everyone just kept silent to listen to Rin's amazing voice)

(Tears welled up in Rin's eyes and she forced them to stay back, yet her voice never quivered)

(Rin wiped away a tear)

(Rin smacked the water as to erase memories threatening to arise)

(Rin wiped away the last little tear that was falling and watched the water ripple under the pressure of being smacked)

Rin looked up from the water at everybody's shocked faces and just smiled like normal. “Sorry about that I sing that song often when I need to become happy see if I cry then the weight of sadness on my shoulders is not so strong so I can be somewhat happy” said Rin with a smile. “I see you sing very good Rin” said Sesshy. “You think so” asked Rin. Sesshoumaru just nodded. “What else can you sing” asked Inuyasha. “What do I look like a jukebox…? Just kidding” said Rin seeing the expression on Inuyasha's face. “No seriously you sing well, what else can you sing” asked Sesshy. “Well I can sing a lot but do either of you boys know the boy part to the song Broken by Seether” asked Rin. Both boys shook there heads no.

“Then I have a project for you learn how to sing the male part of that song and I want to sing it with you at my party” said Rin. “Ok then I'll be performing a song called wait Kagome do you think sweetest sin would be too much” asked Rin. “Heck yeah don't you dare sing that” said Kagome. “What is that is sounds good” said Inuyasha. “Uh… never mind im not singing that to think of it” said Rin blushing. “Hey maybe later we will let you listen to the song or when Rin starts singing in her sleep maybe that's the song she will start singing” said Kagome. “I still sing in my sleep” said Rin. “Yeah but it's just barely above a mumble and only once in awhile” said Kagome. “But anyway back on track im gonna sing toxic by Brittany Spears” said Rin as she started to sing.

(Kagome just shook her head and looked at the water wile Rin sung)

(Both boys just stared in aw as Rin sung her heart out ignoring everyone around, then they looked at Kagome who was as red as a tomato)

(Kagome turned even redder as Inuyasha just stared at her while Sesshy had his eyes fixed on Rin)

(Sesshy's eyes got bigger as he stared at Rin)

(Inuyasha licked his lips as he stared at Kagome)

(Rin stared to blush like Kagome as her eyes stayed fixed on the water)

“Ok that was still kinda yeah” said Rin looking at Kagome. “That was really good” said Sesshy. “Yeah hey Kagome can you sing too” asked Inuyasha. “No sorry I suck” said Kagome. “No you don't you sing really well” said Rin. “Yeah right since when have you heard me sing” asked Kagome. “Well when you got drunk last time…” said Rin. “I was not drunk just buzzed now you were the one that was drunk” said Kagome. “No that was Sango, but anyway you started singing karaoke and you were good” said Rin. “Oh I remember that” said Kagome turning bright red. “What did you sing” asked Inuyasha. “She sung Jesus Take the Wheel” said Rin. “Ok so sing it now” said Inuyasha. “Fine if it will get you off my back” said Kagome.

She was driving last Friday on her way to Cincinnati
On a snow white Christmas Eve
Going home to see her Mama and her Daddy with the baby in the backseat
Fifty miles to go and she was running low on faith and gasoline
It'd been a long hard year
She had a lot on her mind and she didn't pay attention
she was going way too fast
Before she knew it she was spinning on a thin black sheet of glass
She saw both their lives flash before her eyes
She didn't even have time to cry
She was sooo scared
She threw her hands up in the air

(Rin started to tear up but held back the tears as best she could as she listened to her friend sing)

It was still getting colder when she made it to the shoulder
And the car came to a stop
She cried when she saw that baby in the backseat sleeping like a rock
And for the first time in a long time
She bowed her head to pray
She said I'm sorry for the way
I've been living my life
I know I've got to change
So from now on tonight

(Kagome looked over to Rin and gave her a hug singing as she did)

“You do sing well” said Inuyasha. “Not really” said Kagome. “Yeah you do Kagome quit trying to deny it” said Rin through teary eyes. “Oh Rin” said Kagome hugging her friend. “Im fine” said Rin whipping away a tear. “You sure” asked Kagome. “Yeah im fine” said Rin looking up without a tear in her eye. The massage people came in and told them to come in when they were done. “Hey what day is today” asked Rin. “Friday why” asked Sesshy. “Oh nothing” said Rin flashing Kagome an evil smile that didn't go unnoticed.
