Wandering Minds

Prologue
"Are you sure about this, dear?" A raven-haired woman asked, her question muffled by a fan spread in front of her face. Lowering it cautiously, her beautiful magenta eyes peered at a figure in front of her.
The figure was a mere silhouette, shrouded in darkness. "I am certain that it will work out just fine." A small ray of light crept into the castle window, revealing a fanged smirk on the man's face. "It will work very well. Just bring the girl to me, Kagura. I'll take care of the rest." The speaker then stood and strolled out of the Shoji door on his left.
"Damn you, Naraku." The demon woman cursed snapping her fan closed. "Always leave me to do the dirty work." As she said this pain shot through her chest. He holds my life in his very hands, damn it.
Growling slightly, Kagura walked outside the feudal palace. Conjuring a large, white feather, which she was perched on. With that done she flew away, ever so quickly becoming a white dot in the morning sky.
