A\N: Hi hi! SO SO sorry I've haven't written in a while but I've had tryouts for volleyball and I've been caught up in school so I haven't had time. BUT GUESS WHAT??? No, not chicken butt. I have spring break next week and I'm not going on vacation!! (Frowns) Yay. But I do get to write more. Guess what else? I finally got my own e-mail address so REVIEW REVIEW and oh yeah REVIEW!!!!!!!! Geeze people out of the about 900 of u reading about five, FIVE of u reviewed. Chapter 9: A Hot New Model

 

Inuyasha and Kagome were in his car driving to the mall. Kagome fiddled with her necklace while Inuyasha drove.

 

“So it's gonna be you, me, your friend, and her boyfriend?” Inuyasha asked.

 

“Yep.” Kagome answered still fiddling with her necklace.

 

“Who is your friend anyway?

 

“Sango.”

 

“That name sounds familiar. Whose her boyfriend again?”

 

Kagome looked up. “Miroku.”

 

Inuyasha started cracking up. “She's dating him!! Wow! Does your friend know that he's a pervert?”

 

“How do you know him?”

 

“He my best friend. He told me about some girl named Sango he really liked.”

 

They paused. “Coincidence?” Kagome said.

 

“Maybe.”

 

They rode the rest of the car ride in silence until they got to the mall. It was an outdoor mall, with as many stores as a two story indoor mall. It was slightly cloudy making it cold. They found Miroku and Sango standing in the food court. Sango spotted them first and ran up to Kagome for a hug.

 

“Hey you made it on time for once!” Sango said.

 

“You're so mean.” Kagome said.

 

“Hey Miroku!” Inuyasha yelled walking over to him. The boys started talking.

 

Sango stared at Inuyasha as he walked away. Kagome looked at her gaze.

 

“Sango? Heellloo?” Kagome waved her hand in front of Sango's face. Sango eventually snapped out of it.

 

“Why are you still dating--?! He is FINE!”

 

“Excuse me? Has Miroku gotten to you? You're starting to scare me.”

 

“Oh whatever. But you got to admit I'm right.”

 

“Yeah Inuyasha's good-looking but Kouga is my boyfriend.”

 

“So you admit it!”

 

Kagome nodded. “Yes, Kouga is my boyfriend.”

 

“No,” Sango took Kagome's cheeks and turned them towards Inuyasha, “look at him! He's gorgeous! You two would make a GREAT couple.”

 

Kagome loosened from Sango's grip. “Gee Sango sounds more like you want him.”

 

“I'm with Miroku and happy about it, but you and Inuyasha would be good together. You know how I'm right about these things!”

 

Kagome rolled her eyes and replied sarcastically, “Oh yes, cause you and Bankotsu worked out perfectly.”

 

“Shut up. Let's just go shopping.”

Meanwhile:

 

“Inuyasha? What are you doing here?” Miroku asked.

 

“I'm with Kagome.” Inuyasha replied.

 

Miroku smiled. “You're with Kagome?”

 

“No! Gross, I see you're still a nasty pervert.”

 

Miroku laughed. “Guilty as charged. Seriously, are you dating Kagome?”

 

“No.”

 

“Right. Then why are you here?”

 

“She asked me to come with her.”

 

“Are you sure you're not dating her? You two would be a hot couple.”

 

Inuyasha put his hand to his forehead. He couldn't use another word; he just had to use “hot.”

 

“The girls are coming. Let's go.”

 

“Stalling are you? Okay then let's go.”

The four of them walked throughout the mall stopping into shops here and there. The mall was packed with tons of people on a count of the sales going on in about half of the stores. It was like Black Friday at three in the afternoon. Finally Sango stopped.

 

“Cool! Victoria's Secret is having a sale! Kagome let's go in.”

 

“I'll go with you!” Miroku yelled from behind.

 

The girls turned to each other then to him and said, ”No.”

 

“But wouldn't you like a man's opinion on how you where your underwear and\or bras?”

 

Kagome nudged Sango on her elbow. “That's what the male sale clerks are for!” The girls laughed.

 

“What?” Miroku asked.

 

“Calm down. I wouldn't do that to you.” Sango walked up to him and kissed him on the cheek. Miroku blushed and covered his cheek. He turned to go sit on the bench where Inuyasha was waiting. The girls went inside.

 

(Quick A\N: This chapter was going to be called He said She said Part II because of the back and forth conversations but was changed after what was said in this next part. Just giving you a little behind-the-scene look.)

Kagome and Sango were rummaging through all bras and underwear. Sango walked over to Kagome.

 

“So when are you dumping Kouga for Inuyasha?”

 

“Sango!”

 

“What? I'm just saying.”

 

“Well stop because Kouga and I aren't breaking up!”

 

“But you and Inuyasha are SO good together!” Sango pouted.

 

Kagome sighed and looked out the entrance to where Inuyasha was sitting. Sango looked at her. She put her fingers in her face and snapped them. Kagome flinched.

 

“Were you staring at him?” Sango whispered so no one would hear.

 

“No! I was staring…at…. the plant!” Kagome pointed at the plant next to the bench.

 

“The plant? Are you kidding?”

 

“No. I mean it's so…. so….green.”

 

Sango glared at her. Kagome shrugged.

 

“I like green.”

 

“Good for you.”

 

“So I stared at him! That doesn't mean anything!”

 

“Kagome, some boys are like computers. The more you spend time with one, the more you wish you had a better model.” She turned Kagome towards Inuyasha. “That is a new hot model. And it's on sale. Sales don't last forever, and that computer is gonna go fast.”

 

“So I'll buy it at full price!”

 

“Kagome stay with me. When I say `sale' it means `single'.”

 

“Oh. So?”

 

Sango sighed. “So dump your old model and get the new one!”

 

“But what if my old model still works?”

 

“Ew! Oh god! I just got a mental picture!”

 

“You know I didn't mean like that!”

 

“Yea I think you did.”

 

“Can we just shop? I really don't want to talk about this anymore.”

 

“Fine be that way.”

 

“That's my line!”

 

“Yea but it's like your white high heels, it looks better on me.”

Miroku and Inuyasha were sitting on the bench in the silence. Inuyasha kept his eyes on Kagome.

 

“You really like her don't you?” Miroku questioned.

 

“We're just friends.”

 

“And? Dude, Kagome's hot.”

 

“Back-off!”

 

“Sesshomaru's right, you are being touchy.”

 

Inuyasha looked at him. “When did you talk to Sesshomaru?”

 

“You know I call! You're just never there. Sesshomaru keeps me entertained.”

 

“With what? What just happened on Degrassi?”

 

“No stories about you. It's better than that, which I've seen one or twice.”

 

“Once or twice?”

 

“When the only other things that are on are The View and Dora the Explorer what do you chose?”

 

“Watching a movie.”

 

“Oh I never thought of that.”

 

Inuyasha slapped him on the back, “Try that next time.”

 

“Well first I have to see what happens with Spinner and his cancer.”

“You've lost it.”

 

Miroku thought for a moment, “You maybe right.”

 

The girls finally came out and they continued walking around the mall until it was about six o' clock. They all decided to call it a night. Sango and Miroku walked to his car and got in.

 

“They're a good couple don't you think?” Miroku said.

 

“Yeah too bad about Kagome's boyfriend.”

 

Miroku froze. “KAGOME HAS A BOYFRIEND?”

 

“Yes.”

 

“DAMN!”

 

“What?”

 

“I told Inuyasha to go for her!”

 

“Inuyasha knows.”

 

“He does?” Sango nodded. “How come I don't get the memo about these things?”

 

“Sorry honey, your not in the group.”

 

“What?”

 

“I'm just kidding.”

 

Miroku crossed his arms. Sango made a pouted face. “ Sorry. I love you.” Sango leaned over and kissed him on the lips. She pulled away. Miroku had a big smile on his face, but he didn't move. Sango waved her hand in front of his face and snapped her fingers. He didn't budge.

 

“Déjà vu.”

Inuyasha stopped in front of Kagome's apartment. They got out of the car and walked up the stairs.

 

“Well here we are.” Inuyasha said.

 

“Thanks for coming to the mall with me. I really appreciate it.”

 

“No problem. It was either that or do nothing at home because I can't change channel while Sesshomaru is taping The Young And The Restless.”

 

Kagome giggled. “Well thank you.” She wrapped her arms around his neck to hug him. He hugged her back. They stood like that for a while.

 

“ Um…you can let go now,” Kagome said.

 

Inuyasha blushed. “Oh sorry.”

 

Kagome twisted the doorknob. Luckily Kouga wasn't home yet.

 

“That's okay. Good night.”

 

“Night.”

 

Kagome walked inside and leaned against the door. I can't stop smiling when I'm around him. She walked to the bedroom and put down her stuff. She flopped down on the bed and closed her eyes just to relax.

 

 

 

 

That's when she heard glass hit the floor… and break.

A\N: Did I give you chills? Probably not but whatever. Did you love it? Just wondering how many of you have actually seen Degrassi? It's the best show ever!! I know Spinner's cancer was a little bit back but I wanted to make Miroku not completely caught up. That was fun to write! Like the third chapter. But I can't wait to write the next one! Oh and for the record while I'm writing this, my Internet is down so just to get this straight, this might be POSTED on a different date but it was WRITTEN on March 13, 2008. I have an excuse for being late. Thx to my co-writer for giving me the computer model idea but I tweaked it a little to make it my own. OH MY GOOD GOLLY GOSH! I just complemented my co-writer! EVERYONE TAKE COVER!!!! THE WORLD IS ENDING!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! JK. Okay, that was over a little over-dramatic but that's who I am and who I will always be.
