Chapter 4: flash back in the mind's memory
Sesshomaru's mind--
The morning sun arose with blood shed all around. The bodie parts of Naraku lying in his bodily acids layed accross the dirt waste land. A terrifying battle was still taking place not to far from this land.
"Sesshomaru, here...." Inuyasha yelled as he threw something to his brother.
"You realize it won't matter--" Sesshomaru was cut off.
"Just take it, I don't care what happens after this!" Inuyasha screamed as Sesshomaru caught the spiraling object as requested.
"Then Naraku is mine!" Sesshomaru yelled as he ran with an unidentified sword in hand.
The sword looked like the Tetsiaga but Sesshomaru was able to weild it like it was his own Tetsaiga. But it was niether. It was the combined form of both the brother's swords. When Sesshomaru showed exceptance twards his hanyou brother and when Inuyasha deminished his hate for his Yokia brother, as their father planned it, the swords came together when the brothers did!
"You won't win!" Naraku Said trying to sound confident.
"Are you so sure about that?!" Sesshomaru asked as he sliced off another slithering green piece of Naraku.
Naraku was getting weaker by the minute. Every so often Inuyasha and Sesshomaru would take turns with the new sword, Kagome shot an arrow every 5 Seconds, Sango/ Kerara attacked with every shot of an arrow, while shippo and miroku cleaned up Naraku's bodie by fox magic and the wind-tunnel.
"How much longer are we gonna' keep this up?" Shippo screamed as he panted in heeving breathes.
"We finish this now!" Sesshomaru screamed not even knowing he answered Shippo's question.
Sesshomaru went to go for Naraku but missed and ended up hitting more of his body, this time slicing many tentacles.
"Sesshomaru, I think you and Inuyasha have to finish Naraku together!" Kagome told a surprised Sesshomaru.
"I think she's right....." Inuyasha said back at the idea.
"Well than get over here!" Sesshomaru yelled to him.
Inuyasha jumped at the chance. Both brothers held onto to the sword with both hands and ran side-by-side for the first time, with the same goal in mind, to finish Naraku. A quick glance into the eyes of each other was given as they lifted the powerful sword in the air.
"Konigbudif bdjgfwuiBAAAAAAAAF....!" Naraku yelled. A ripple went through the air as time itself came to a sure and steady hualt. Naraku let a small ripple of relief flow through him as he chanted the saying once more. Everyone were stuck in their positions, Kagome getting ready to fire another arrow, The two brothers in the air getting ready to strike, everyone frozen solid. Then a quiver came through the earth's surface, and everything was picked up in a tornado of blackness, and then, and then...........nothing. Nothing was real after that.
Sesshomaru came back to reality with realization of what had happened.
Naraku had changed time, he wasn't sure how, but he had!
