Jaxon awoke to pains shooting down her leg. She moaned and tried to move only to discover she was being held down by something. Her defense system kicked in & she began to squirm to try to get away. Sesshoumaru woke up to her protests and let her go. She crawled away from him and rolled over to face him.

"Why did you try to hold me down?"

Sesshoumaru simply stood up and walked towards the door. Jaxon began to mutter.

"Stupid demon, why does he always piss me off," Jaxon said.

Sesshoumaru ignored her and walked over to his servant. Sesshoumaru kicked him in the head and the little imp jumped up.

"What is it, my Lord?"

"Inu-Yasha draws near to us. We must leave now if we are to avoid confrontation now."

"Why don't you just trade the girl now, my Lord."

"Because, I want to have an advantage over him if he decides not to trade and tries to take the girl by force."

"Whatever you wish, my Lord."

Sesshoumaru turned and walked over to Jaxon.

"Oh no you don't, I'm not going anywhere with you."

Sesshoumaru simply scooped her up in his arms, picked up her pack, and beckoned for Jakken and Rin to follow him. He stepped outside where his two-headed dragon lay. Jaxon paled at the sight of the dragon.

Great I'm going to be dragon food.

Instead, Sesshoumaru sat down on the dragon's back. Rin and Jakken joined them and the dragon rose in the air. Jaxon let out a loud shriek. Below them, she saw a flash of red and silver. She saw Inu-Yasha run into the clearing with Sango, Miroku, Shippo, and Kagome after him.

"Sesshoumaru, get back here," Inu-Yasha yelled.

"Do you really think I would lose my advantage over you Inu-Yasha?" Sesshoumaru said.

"Sesshoumaru, let Jaxon go," Kagome yelled.

"Why should I let her go?"

"Because we said so you jerk,"

Sesshoumaru only smirked and rode off.

"I'm going to get you, Sesshoumaru," Inu-Yasha said as he raised his sword.

"Wait Inu-Yasha," Miroku said, "If you use the Wind Scar on Sesshoumaru now, you might hurt Jaxon and the other human girl that Sesshoumaru has been traveling with. They don't deserve to die."

Inu-Yasha put his sword down. He knew Miroku was right.

"We'll get him next time."

"Did any of you notice the bandage on Jaxon's leg?" Sango asked.

The others nodded. They hadn't notice because they had all been preoccupied with Sesshoumaru.

"Sesshoumaru must be taking good care of her if he tended to her wound. We may not need to worry about him taking care of her," Miroku said.

"But why would Sesshoumaru take care of her. What would he have to gain?" Sango asked.

"He wants the Tetsusaiga, that's what. We just have to take him down and get Jaxon back."

The others nodded and they headed toward the direction Sesshoumaru went.

Jaxon sulked why they were riding. She was in a weird land, where she got kidnapped by a cruel demon, and she was hurt. Her experience in the past was far from pleasant. She sighed. She might as well make the best of it. Jaxon relaxed and enjoyed the feeling of flying while ignoring the rest of the world. Jaken's voice brought her back to reality.

"Where are we going, my Lord?"

"You'll know when we get there, Jaken," Sesshoumaru said as he held tighter to Jaxon's waist.

Jaxon sighed. She wasn't getting away anytime soon.
