I Hyrulehalfdemon do not own the Legend of Zelda or Inuyasha I only own the characters a made up.
It was a normal night in the quiet of the Lost Woods as Maric Tashio, a 13-year-old half dog demon, awoke sweating. Maric looked around his small room and scratched his dog-ears on the top of his head and watched his silver hair, which was down to his hips flow around him. The room had a small desk and a small window, a closet, and of course, his bed, which was almost all red. Maric sighed to himself.
Maric then felt something pulsing next to him. It was Tetsonga, the sword he had possessed since he was 3. Oddly enough, he could not remember where he had gotten it. Actually, he could not remember anything from before he was 3. Only that he was wandering the woods until he met his now closest friend, Darkness, who was the same age him. Tetsonga did not look like much when you saw it in its sheath but when Maric drew it, Tetsonga became a giant fang like sword that had many powers.
Darkness' parents were a pair of the best elite assassins in Hyrule and the DarkWorld, they where also powerful mages. The family used to be a family of 6. Darkness' oldest brother by 5 minutes was Black he had black hair down to his shoulders and had pure black eyes! Then there was Sam older by 3 minutes he had black hair also to his hips and had maroon eyes. Then it was Roger older by only 2 minutes he had red orange hair down to his shoulders and had dark brown eyes. Lastly Darkness who had black hair down to his shoulders and had red eyes.
The family lived happily until a band of thieves attacked them. Their parents gave up their lives to save their children, but not before the leader of the band, using a double headed axe, left a horrible scar on Sam's face from his left eyebrow to the opposite corner of his lip. The 4 brothers escaped into the woods, knowing there was nothing left for them there. Sam and everyone else thought the cut on Sam's face would heal, but it left horrible scars. Sam realized he would have these scars for the rest of his, so he changed his name to Scar.
Moving his long silver hair from his eyes, Maric remembered that Scar, Black, and Roger were also now assassins also mages, and were on a weeklong mission. Darkness had also trained to become an assassin. He knew many spells and knew how to wield his sword very well, but then he was cursed to become the Keeper of the BOOK OF DREAD, a powerful spell book filled with nothing but dark and evil spells. One day THE BOOK OF DREAD would take control of Darkness and he would go on a rampage, destroying everything in his path. If anyone else tried to read the book or touch it, the person would burst into flames.
Maric sighed deeply, remembering the dream that had woke him. He saw a tall demon, with long silver hair in a high ponytail and armor going up both his arms. Over his shoulders, he had what looked like two fluffy white boas. On each check was a lavender streak, meaning royalty. He wore a white and blue kimono with a purple sash.
There was also another demon with long silver hair, only he had his hair down and looked younger than the first one. He had armor leading over his left shoulder and the same fluffy white boa going over his right shoulder. On his face were two purple streaks going inward on each check and on his wrist. Also a lavender crescent moon on his forehead. His kimono was white like the other demon, but it had a red honeycomb and blossom design on it. This demon was older than the next.
The next person really confused him. He looked almost exactly like himself, with the same red kimono made from the hair from the Firerat, except Maric's had a hood built into it. He also had the same long silver hair and dog-ears on top of his head, showing his half demonist. All four of the demons, including him, had the same golden dog eyes meaning they were full-blooded or half-blooded dog demon. The biggest difference was that Maric had a crescent mark similar to the demon with the crescent moon mark on the forehead, but Maric's had a dot in the center of his mark. The last person surprised him deeply. She was a human woman, with long black hair and deep brown eyes, and she wore a three-layer kimono .The thing was there wasn't any humans in Hyrule.
Maric sighed. He always had the same dream. He did not feel he belonged in this world. He sighed again and grabbed Tetsonga, and slid it into his red sash and pulled on the top part of his kimono. Maric lived in a two-story cabin with the now also 13 year old Darkness. Darkness' brothers also lived there when they were home. It was near sunrise, so Maric decided to eat breakfast. He sat at the kitchen table, dazing off into space, thinking about his dream. He did not even hear the person sneaking up on him from behind.
“BOOOO!!”
That was the last thing Maric expected. Maric jumped 3 feet in the air!! He turned around to see a laughing Darkness. Darkness wore his usual outfit: a black tunic with a long black cape containing a hidden pocket that held the Book Of Dread. Maric growled when Darkness finally got control of himself.
Darkness smiled,” Good morning Dog Boy.”
Maric growled,“ Why the heck did you do that, you baka!!”
Darkness sighed,“ I wanted to get your attention.”
Maric growled again,“ And you had to scare me out of my mind to do that?” When Darkness didn't answer, Maric asked, “Well, what do we have to eat around here?”
Darkness stuttered,” Oh, yah, I forgot we need to go to the market and pick up some more food.”
Angrily, Maric yelled, “Oh, fine. Let's just go so I can get something to eat!!”
Maric and Darkness went outside and yelled in unison, “Mocha! Darkling!!” Mocha, is a bay male unicorn Pegasus, but kept his horn and wings in so no one would see them. Maric had owned Mocha since he was 3. Mocha had a star that looked exactly like the mark on Maric's forehead. Darkling was a pure black male horse and had red eyes like Darkness.
Maric rode over to Darkness on Mocha and grumbled, “Alright, Darkness, let's go to the stupid market!!”
