Maric's POV

Maric looked from Rachal to the sword in Zelda's hands and whispered,” Rose how do we change her back?” Maric was desperately trying to find a way to help his mate. Rose looked to Maric then the sword,” The only way I know how is to somehow put Wind Breeze back in Rachal's hands, but if we go near her she'll kill us.”

Maric walked over to Zelda and carefully slipped Wind Breeze out of her hands. Zelda woke up and looked from Maric then to the sword then fell back asleep. Maric sighed,” I'll do it anything to help her.” Sesshomaru and Inuyasha both yelled at the same time, “Are you crazy?” “I have to do it.” Maric said with a glare, his brothers stood there mute because of his response.

Maric started walking toward Rachal praying that his brothers didn't try anything. Maric was about half way to Rachal when Inuyasha and Sesshomaru came out of their daze. They ran after Maric trying to stop him.

 

Rachal's POV

`Mate must not hurt.' Was Rachal's thoughts as Maric got closer but when Sesshomaru and Inuyasha came from behind Maric Rachal thoughts changed,' Mate in trouble! Help mate.' Rachal released a blast of lightning at the two and they where thrown into trees away from where the group was.

Rachal was about to release an attack that would kill the two when she heard a growl She looked at Maric and whined in demon,' Mate not happy?'

 

Maric's POV

Maric growled unknowingly when his brothers flew and spun around when he heard a whine asking,' Mate is not happy?' Maric looked at Rachal and realized that she was the one who whined and since she spoke demon maybe he could use that.

 

Both Rachal's and Maric's POV

Maric looked at Rachal locking eyes with her and growled,' Mate should not hurt pack members.' Maric silently prayed at it would work. Rachal looked confused at Maric and then to the two unconscious brothers by the trees surrounded by the other `pack members' Rachal sat down in the grass scorching the ground she sat down on in a complete circle. Rachal looked at Maric and whimpered,' Mate sorry mate did not know. Mate forgive?'

Maric nodded and smiled and growled,' Yes but you must take hold of this sword my mate.' Rachal eyed the sword as Maric moved closer to her and sat down in front of her. She almost touched the sword but then drew her hand back looking up at Maric eyes pleading to know why he wanted her to take told of the sword. Rachal faintly knew that this sword would harm her; she did not trust the blade.

Maric looked at her with pleading and tear filled eyes and yelled,” Rachal if you love me let me help you! Please take the sword.” Rachal nodded and took hold of the sword then screamed in pain and fell to the ground clutching Wind Breeze to her body as she transformed in to her normal state. Maric rushed over and picked her up and clutched her to his chest whispering in her ear saying he would never let her get hurt again. Unknown to them the three adults had woken up and saw the whole thing.

Maric picked up Rachal bridal style and walked over to where the group as sitting aw struck. Maric's eyes were covered by his bangs as he walked over to the group and sat down by a tree a little ways off. Zelda got up to her feet and everyone else just realized the parents where awake. Zelda half ran half stumbled toward Rachal and Maric.

Zelda standing in front of Maric reached out her hand to take Rachal, but her hand was slapped back and she heard a loud growling noise. She looked up from her hand to see Maric bangs fall away from his eyes.

Maric's eyes were bloodshot red and had lavender streaks on his cheeks and the mark on his forehead turned from purple to blood red. He also had purple strips running down his arms now. Zelda yelped and jumped back everyone now saw Maric's transformation. Zelda yelled for someone to do something but no one moved.

Sesshomaru sighed and looked at his brother who was still sitting down under the tree with his arms protectively circled around Rachal. “Maric is just doing what any demon would do protecting the one he loves.” Sesshomaru said simply.

“Wait a second demons are not allowed in Hyrule, only in the Dark World. Also if he loves her why did he attack me? Also why would she fall in love with a demon! Also I have never seen this boy before. The first time I saw them together was two days ago!” Zelda yelled then started to fall to the ground, but Link caught her.

Link looked from his sleeping wife, which was now in his arms to the confused group. Link sighed,” You will have to forgive Zelda she is a little high strung about every thing and who are all you people and why would you help Rachal?” “I too would like to know this, I know every demon in the Dark World and I have never seen you.” Said Dark Link raising an eyebrow in question.

Link and the other group exchanged introductions, but did not notice the two still had stayed sitting by the tree and that Maric's eyes where now to there golden color and that the rest of his body changed back to normal. Also that Maric remembered every word that Zelda had said.

Rachal awoke when to felt something moist on her cheek she open her eyes to see a crying Maric! Rachal whimpered low,” Maric what is wrong and why are you crying! I'm back from my transformation you should be happy.” Maric looked down at Rachal startled that she had awoken and he didn't realize it.

Maric sighed knowing he have to tell her what he had heard her mother yell. With tears in his eyes he began,” I heard Zelda yell that you should not be in love with a demon and that I had attacked her when I transformed because I wanted to protect you.” Rachal looked up at him and sighed leaning more into his chest.

Rachal made a purring noise that made Maric jump she sighed and continued purring and whispered,” I do not care what my mother thinks of you all that matters is that I love you. I wouldn't care if you full demon or hylian. I really do love you for who you are, Maric.” With that said Rachal fell back asleep on Maric's chest and never stopped purring but Rachal did not miss the tears of joy on Maric's face.

Maric sighed and picked up Rachal and moved to the fire that the group had made, and sat Zelda and all the others, but Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. Maric realized because of that he earned looks from Zelda and everyone else.

Rachal sighed and looked up to see the group sitting around a fire, she knew she still in still in Maric's lap and carefully sat up. Everyone looked up surprised to see Rachal up. Rachal yawned and smiled,” So what are we going to do now?”

“Well what do you think we are going to do we're use the Master Sword to defeat Gannondorf.” Link said crossing his arms. Dark Link smirked,” Yes with Link's Master Sword and my Dark Master Sword we can take down Gannondorf like we used to do before he was sealed away.”

Kagome looked at the two,” I'm sorry but what are these Master swords? Also how do you know they will work? I don't know how powerful Gannondorf is but he looks powerful and remember he's working with Naraku.”

All of the people from the Dark World and Hyrule and Maric looked at the people from the Feudal Era as if they where crazy they all knew about Link's Master Sword, that only the Hero of Time could use. The sword made of evil's bane and to repel evil. Dark Link's sword the Dark Master Sword had the strength of the Master Sword only it harnessed evil and used it as its strength.

Link and Dark Link told them all of this and they where amazed about it. Maric sighed,” So when are we going?” Zelda looked up surprised and then suspicious,” Why would you want to help a world that from what I know you are not even from?”

Dark Link looked from Zelda to Maric and then to Darkness and his brothers,” Yes I to would like to know that too. I understand Black's and his brothers' involvement, because if you did not know this I'm their employer. They are the best assassins I've ever seen beside their parents, but I have never met Darkness. Yes I was also their parents' employer. Also Flame's and his brothers' because of their brother's kidnapping and Flame is Rose's fiancée.”

Darkness and his brothers looked at Dark Link in full amazement. Maric looked at Zelda and the other adults his face showed that he were clearly hurt. Inuyasha growled and Sesshomaru cleared his throat and simply said,” What Maric's and our involvement is to none of your importance.”

Zelda's and Dark Link's eyes showed their anger and looked like they were about to say something, but Maric beat them to it by drawing all of their attention to him by clearing his throat like Sesshomaru did and stated,” Sesshomaru they're right they did need an explanation for my involvement in this. Well Zelda I want to help Rachal, but my brothers and their friends are helping me because since I was missing for ten years they are not letting me out of their sight.”

Zelda looked surprised again and looked down at her hands and sighed,” You still did not tell me the main reason you want to help Rachal.” Maric looked nervous at the question then replied,” I'm sorry but I really do not want to answer that question at this time.”

Zelda looked like she was going to scream the frustration but Link stopped her and looked at Maric and sighed,” I may harbor a grudge on most demons, because my parents where killed by some demons that worked for Gannondorf on the day I was born. In fact when I first saw you I wanted nothing to do with you, but I see something and there is nothing I can do.”

Link smiled at the end of his sentence and smiled form Maric to Rachal which made both blush but nobody noticed but Link, Dark Link, and Zelda who sighed and realized that there was nothing more she could she knew the two where in true love.
