8-Year-old Rachal rode New Moon out at midnight, Star ran beside them and Brittany rode behind Rachal. They rode to the tunnel to the unicorn clearing when they heard a loud whinny and Rachal turned to see the bay colt running toward them Rachal grabbed Brittany and jumped off New Moon as he ran to his friend that had grown up nicely.

Rachal sighed the two stallions then walked up to her and the bay lowered his head using his horn to write in the grass it said Mocha. “It's nice to meet you Mocha. I guess we should continue into the cavern? You two want to be able to come and go as a please but to do that you have to fight the stallion am I correct?”

Rachal didn't ride New Moon the rest of the time as they walked to the cavern. Rachal gasped, “This place is still so amazing!” The unicorns in the valley looked up and then backed away afraid. Rachal then saw two mares come forward uncertain, Rachal then realized `these are the same fillies from when I meet New Moon!'

The mares walked up to the stallions whinnied with joy at the sight of them; the mares did as well when they realized whom they were. The two mares froze when they saw Rachal, smiled when New Moon nickered to the mares to come over to her. The mares came over and dipped their heads writing in the ground.

The half silver half black wrote Eclipse and the black paint wrote Dark Moon. Rachal dipped her own head and said,” Nice to meet you two my name is Rachal.”

Just then they heard a thunderous whinny of rage and everyone turned to see the red roan stallion running toward New Moon and Mocha! New Moon and Mocha reared and charged at the stallion scattering the unicorns that were in the way. When they met sparks sparked when their hooves and horns clashed.

The other unicorns ran behind Rachal not caring who she was they just wanted to get out of the way. Brittany and Star yelped and ran behind Rachal not wanting to get in the way of the unicorns. Rachal ran to one of the trees that surrounded the clearing and jumped in to it wanting to keep out of the way of the fight, Rachal also used her winds to lift the dogs into the tree with her.

Unknown to Rachal a certain half breed had just came into the doorway that led into the clearing watching Mocha fight beside a black stallion with wings like Mocha, and fighting against a red roan stallion.

Maric had met Mocha in the woods when he was three and was growing up with him. Mocha had disappeared when he had fallen asleep and he had awoken and fallowed Mocha's scent. Star sniffed the air getting Rachal's attention,” What's you smell?”

Star jumped down and ran over to the doorway Rachal heard an uttered yelp. Rachal wanted to see what it was but the sounds of the battle got her attention. New Moon jumped at the red roan that Rachal now named Fury. Fury leap out of the way but was head butted by Mocha.

Fury fell to the ground with a thump he struggled trying to get up, but New Moon put his horn hip to Fury's throat. Fury sighed and stopped trying to get up, New Moon backed up and looked at the other unicorns in the clearing. Rachal jumped from the tree and walked over to stand with the other unicorns.

Mocha stood in front of New Moon then got on his knees and bowed his head, Rachal saw the other unicorns also bowing and she did the same. Rachal was between Dark Moon and Eclipse, New Moon reared and whinnied and ran over to where Dark Moon bowed and nickered to her.

Dark Moon rose and rubbed her body happily against New Moon. Mocha was doing the same thing to Eclipse. Rachal smiled seeing all the other unicorns paying their respects to their new stallion even Fury did when he was allowed up. Rachal then remembered Star and looked around for her.

It was then that Mocha turned around to the clearing entrance; Star was walking back from the entrance like nothing happened. Rachal then saw a shape it looked to belong to a small boy. “Who is out there?” Rachal called a little afraid of the answer, she knew the person couldn't see her but wasn't taking any chances so she hid behind Dark Moon.

Mocha walked over to the figure and nuzzled it like it was one of his close friends, the figure whispered something to Mocha then disappeared into the tunnel. Rachal sighed,” I don't know who that was but if Mocha trust him I should too.”

The next few months Rachal rode New Moon to the clearing every night to check on his herd and Mocha would always meet them. The figure never returned, but Rachal didn't mind. The next night when Rachal, the dogs and New Moon got to the tunnelentrance they saw Mocha running at them at full speed. Everyone dodged out of the way as Mocha ran into the clearing. When they entered they then saw why Mocha was in a hurry.

Mocha was in the middle of the clearing with Eclipse, but there was a small newborn pure white filly next to Eclipse. Mocha looked like he was going to burst with pride. Rachal smiled and knew that Mocha was the father. Rachal looked around her and saw that Brittany and Star were lying down by the stream's edge relaxing.

New Moon though was looking at the cave entrance not looking at anything else. Rachal walked over to where New Moon was standing and asked,” Hey New Moon are you okay?” New Moon looked at her then to the outside and nodded. “Alright, but I'm coming too.” Said Rachal as she swung her body on to New Moon back as he started to walk out of the clearing.

Rachal looked at bridges that led to the middle of the lake she saw a small shape in the middle of the inland in the center. Little did she know Link was on the shore looking for her, because he had awoken that night and found her gone?

Rachal and New Moon walked on the bridges to the island, when they got there they heard a frightened whinny. New Moon ears perked tried to see around the tree, Rachal got off and walked behind the tree to see a small black unicorn!

Rachal smiled,” It's okay you can come out.” The unicorn looked at her uncertain then came out and looked at New Moon with wide eyes. Rachal saw the young colt had a white star, strip, and snip. The thing that caught her eye though was that he had wings like New Moon!

New Moon walked up to the colt and nuzzled him happily; neither of them knew where the colt had come from. Rachal moved her hands to the colt's horn the colt froze and shivered Rachal saw the colt walking in a desert she knew it was only desert in Hyrule behind the Gerudo Valley. Rachal awoke from the vision and had a name for the colt.

Rachal put her hands into the colt's coat it was filled with sand, Rachal knew the sand would come out, but it meant that the vision was true. Rachal smiled,” Well Mr. Barren you don't have to try a home you have found one.”

Link smiled from the shore he knew where Rachal went and didn't see a problem.
