Rachal woke early and got up and snuck out of Maric's arms to the downstairs dressed and started to go downstairs. Rachal looked around the kitchen and set a fire and greased a pan to heat over the fire as she went through the stable opening the doors to the outside so the horses could go out and graze and then walked into the chicken coop.

 

As she entered the chicken coop the cuckoos looked up and cooed softly and one the youngest that Rachal named Snowball because she had a black mark around her right eye like she was hit with a snowball. Snowball fluttered from her perch and landed on Rachal's shoulder. Rachal smiled and petted the bird and gathered the eggs that were laid and fed the cuckoos the fee that was in the house.

 

With the eggs she came back into the house and made breakfast and set the table. Rachal then walked up the stairs to the children's rooms knowing the adults were getting up already. Rachal knocked on Rin's room and called softly,” Rin wake up breakfast is downstairs.” Rin mumbled,” I'm getting up! Rin will get up!”

 

Rachal then walked into Quentin's room he was dead asleep and Rachal crept to his bedside. Rachal sat on the end of the bed and brushed Quentin's tan hair away from his face and smiled as he rolled in his bed and opened his eyes to look at her. Quentin smiled and mumbled,” Good morning Mother. Is Dad awake yet?” Rachal smiled and said,” Yes I think he is. I'm going to wake up Rosemary. Breakfast is ready downstairs.” With that said Rachal went into Rosemary's room that was at the end of the hall.

 

Rachal entered her daughter's room and saw her sleeping peacefully on the bottom of the bunk bed. Rachal stopped in front of Rosemary and waited for her daughter to realize she was there. As if on cue Rosemary stirred and looked up at Rachal and smiled. Rachal then said,” Rosemary good morning. I have some new kimonos for you.” Rachal then pulled a green kimono that had a rose vine design on it in red. Rosemary squealed happily and started to pull it on as Rachal went to the kitchen.

 

When Rachal entered the kitchen she saw that Sesshomaru and Kagura with everyone else, but Rosemary who ran past her almost making her fall. Rachal sighed and sat down next to Maric at the table as everyone ate breakfast. Sesshomaru sighed and put down the tea he was drinking and asked,” What will you do now?” Maric looked over at Rachal and said,” Well I would like to go around the countryside to see what is part of my home world for a week. Would that be okay with you Rachal? What about you kids?”

 

Rachal smiled and nodded as the kids ran around happily saying yes. Sesshomaru smiled and said,” Kagura and I decided to go back to the palace together. We will go see Inuyasha and everyone else before we go.”

 

Maric and everyone else helped with the dishes as Sesshomaru packed food for the trip and saddled Uh-Un. After that was done they all walked to Keade's hut. Inuyasha walked out and saw them approaching and waved to them and called to the inside of the hut telling them at they were there.

 

When they reached the hut everyone was out and Inuyasha told everyone that Kagome and him were now mates and that Kikyo had been put to rest. Everyone was overjoyed for the two. Miroku then stepped up and said,” Sango's and my plan is to get married and rebuild her home village with Kohaku and Kilala. The wedding will be in two weeks we hope.”

 

“That's great. We were going to go on a trip for a week any way. What about you Inuyasha and Kagome?” Said Rachal happily. Kagome thought about it then said,” I think I'll have to live in both worlds. It'll be hard but nothing Inuyasha and I can't handle.”

 

After they talked for a while Inuyasha stiffened and growled looking toward the forest. Just then two whirlwinds appeared. Koga jumped out and looked shocked at the group then Ayame appeared next to him.

 

Rachal chuckled and said,” So this is Koga. Well now I'm bored, if you need me or Maric we will be watching from the safety of that tree.” With that Rosemary jumped on Rachal's shoulder and Quentin was picked up by Maric and they jumped into a nearby tree in plain sight. Koga looked from Rachal then back to the group then said,” What happened? Who are those people?”

 

Kagome then sighed then began the long story about what had happened and told them that Inuyasha and herself were now mates. Koga had been saddened but Ayame cheered him up and Kagome somehow made Koga give up his jewel shards making the jewel whole and made into the original necklace that Kagome now wore. Rachal knew that Koga would now that Ayame as his mate. Koga and Ayame then left and then Sesshomaru's group left for the western lands. Miroku's group then left for Sango's village. Kagome and Inuyasha then left taking Shippo to Kagome's time knowing he could travel through the well holding onto Kagome and Inuyasha. Maric and Rachal and the kids then left to go back to their house to pack for their trip.

 

Rachal sighed when she entered the house and then made so bread and a stew with some meat that Maric had hunted down. There was also a large garden next to the house that gave Rachal all of the things she needed.

 

Rachal had learned from the cook at Hyrule's castle because Zelda said that she had two choices, learn to cook or go to the boring meeting with the Dark World. Rachal was also teaching Rosemary to cook. Rachal looked up from her cooking seeing Maric outside teaching him how to use two short swords at once. Quentin was a natural and Rosemary liked to use a pike and arrows.

 

Rachal smiled knowing this was the start to another adventure!
