Kagome watched as Naraku started to distort...His face slowly disappearing into the dawning morning...Was it over?

Was this the last battle?

 

The figure burst into a bright light of pink and took the shape of a jewel.It floated in the orange sky and slowly decended towards Kagome...

 

Kagome held out her palm as the jewel landed onto her hand...She slowly closed her grip on the jewel and put it close to her heart...Yes...this was really...She could feel the heart beat of the Shikon no tama...It was telling her...Thank you...

 

Kagome turned her head and looked at the figure standing near the cliff.Kikyo had...disappered...this time it was forever.She closed her eyes as she remembered the miko grasping her hand as she uttered her last words,

 

"Take care of him for me..."

 

Kagome's tears spilled out from her eyes as they dripped down onto Kikyo's frezzing hand.

 

"I will, I promise"

 

She watched as Kikyo slowly turned into dust and floated away with the wind...

 

The red clothed figure standing at the cliff...His sliver hair swayed with the wind...
