Chapter 1 : the painful decision

 

 

Kagome sat at the creek trying to wipe away the tears from her face. `No matter how close me and Inuyasha get he won't let go of her.' Kagome thought. Kagome then decided that she would return home forever.

Kagome jumped as she heard the ever so familiar `yo' from her good friend. She glanced behind her.

“ Yo, Kagome,” he sniffed the air and smelt the smell of tears, “Why are you crying?” he asked sounding very worried. Kagome's eyes began to water again. "Come no don't cry," Inuyasha conferted Kagome. Inuyasha began wiping the tears away from Kagome's face. 'Why does he always act so nice after acting like such a baka?!' Kagome thought. While Inuysha was still wiping the on going tears Kagome turned her head so he wasn't touching her face. Inuyasha looked at Kagome started.

" I'm going home, " Kagome said shakily.

" For how long? " Inuyasha asked looking at Kagome with concern.

" For...ever, " Kagome said squeesing her eyes shut hoping she would wake up at and all of this would be a horrible nightmare.

" You're joking? Right? You have to be joking, " Inuyasha said shaking his head as though he was in denail.

Kagome then shook her head concering that Inuyasha's worst fear had come true : she was leaving and never coming back. " You can't! " Inuyasha said grabbing Kagome by the sholders.

" Why? " Kagome inquired.

" Because... I .... I ... I need you to find the Jewl. Yeah, the jewl ! " Inuyasha studdered.

" Well then as you shard seaker I QUIT! " she yelled at the top of her lungs. Kagome turned tail and ran like the wind. Being a halfdemon he caught her easily. " Sit boy ! " she screeched as he was about to catch her right by the well. When the efect of the rosery finally wore off Kagome was just reaching the her destination. He knew he could not reach her in time so he just sat up and put his hands in his head. with a single tearshe jumped down the well and caught a glance at Inuyasha who was sitting looking torn, with his head in his hands. Kagome waited by the well for half an hour half hoping Inuyasha would come and pull her into a strong embrace and make everything better, but he didn't, he didn't show up. Finally, she ran into the house ignoring her mother's happy greetings. She went to her room locking the door behind her. She then began to cry uncontrolably.

" That... (sniff) no good (sobbing pause) MUTT!! " Kagome screamed. She took her white stuffed dog that pointy furry ears that matched Inuyasha's ears and threw it across the room hitting her lamp off the table. She then pushed all the rest of the stuff that was on her desk onto the floor. She looked at a picture Inuyasha and Kagome took.

She picked it up and threw it against the wall and the glass frame shattered and the peices went and when she threw the picture on of the glass pieces managed to get stuck in her palm. She began to cry. She cried for the pain in her hand but she mostly cried because of the pain in her heart. Her room looked like a wreck when there was a knock at the door.

" Go away! " Kaogme yelled thinkingthat it was at the door.

" Honey?" Kagome's mom asked. " I'm going to the store with your grandfater and Souta."

" Okay, " Kagome said cheerfully trying to sound like her normal self. When she heard the front door close she continued crying. All of a sudden an anger exploded inside her and next thing she knew she was ripping pillows, throwing firniture, and crying more and more when Inuyasha appeared at the window while she picked up her favorite picture of them and slam it into the wall shattering the frame. Kagome then punched her mirror and it shattered into peices. Her fist began to bleed. Inuyasha jumped in the window and rushed to her and examined her hand. Between her cut form the mirror and her cut from the frame from the photo Inuyasha was pretty worried.
