Konnichiwa! I hope you liked that last chapter ;) on with the story!

Oh ya, gomen ne about Inuyasha. I know he was way OOC, but hey, this is my story! :P anyways, I'll try and keep him like his usual rude, arrogant, jerk-like self ^_^

Ouch, I was wearing my new toe-socks I just bought (my friend and I both got toe-socks as Xmas presents lol) and I was walking down the stairs when I slipped and landed on the stairs. It hurt cause I landed on my back, and skinned my elbow and hurt my leg -_-; its sooo sad! And no, im not normally this clumsy :P just today I was. lol

Chapter 3

~ Flashback from last chapter ~

Kagome looked up at Inuyasha, her eyes filled with tears, and she quickly put her arms around him, and gave him a huge hug. She whispered into his ear, "I don't care what you are, hanyou, human, demon, it doesn't matter to me. I now realize what I didn't realize before…I…I really like you…maybe I could even love you…please forgive me."

Kagome kissed Inuyasha on the cheek. Inuyasha blushed, and looked at Kagome's face. He cupped her face in his hands, and brought Kagome's lips to his. He licked her lips, and she opened her mouth, feeling passion run throughout her entire body. She wanted to stay like this forever…

Kagome moaned, and shifted around. Why was she so uncomfortable? Kagome opened up one eye, and gasped. She found herself lying next to Inuyasha on his couch. Kagome blushed as she remembered everything that happened last night.

~ Flashback ~

Inuyasha slowly pulled away from Kagome's lips, and he said slowly, "I still haven't gotten over you, Kagome…I still care for you a lot…" Kagome blushed, and said, "Don't worry Inuyasha, I'll be here with you, forever…I promise." Kagome kissed Inuyasha on the lips, and he put his arms around her, kissing her lips and neck. She giggled, and sighed. Together they fell asleep, in each other's arms

Kagome smiled at Inuyasha, and murmured to, "He looks like a child, sleeping so innocently." She giggled, and tried to move out of his arms, but the more she moved, the more Inuyasha tightened his grip around her. Kagome managed to sit up on the couch, but nothing more. She sighed, then kissed Inuyasha on the nose. He mumbled, and cracked open one eye.

"Good morning to you too." he grumbled. He groaned, and said, "Damnit im tired. What the hell did we do last night?" Kagome felt her face grow red, and she said, "N…not to much, just a little kissing, snuggling, that sort of thing." She shrieked as Inuyasha grabbed her around the waist, and brought her to his chest. She gasped for air as inuyasha started tickling her, "S…Stop it Inu…yasha!" she gasped for air.

Kagome managed to squirm away from Inuyasha, and fell on the floor. She winced, and said, "Look what you did Inuyasha!" She stuck out her tongue at him, and he grinned. He turned his head to look at the clock; it was 10:00. Inuyasha heard his stomach growl, and he grinned at Kagome, asking, "Care to join me for breakfast?"

After Kagome and Inuyasha ate breakfast, it was 10:45. Kagome had to leave to go shopping for groceries. Inuyasha walked Kagome to the door, and Kagome said, "Look Inuyasha, even though this might seem hard, I want to keep our relationship a secret for a while. If we suddenly go to work and act like we've been best friends since forever, it would look a little suspicious, and I know Sango and Miroku would bug me about that until I told them. So…Lets act like we always do, and nobody will suspect a think!" she giggled a little bit, and said, "its going to be so hard to call you a jerk now!" Inuyasha chuckled, and kissed Kagome on the cheek. After he kissed her, he leaned over to her ear, and said, "Lets do this again sometime." Kagome flushed, and grinned at Inuyasha.

~ At the Store ~

Kagome walked down the isles gathering the food she needed, when she spotted Sango. She walked over to her, and said, "Hey Sango!" Sango grinned at Kagome, and the two quickly started a conversation. As they were walking along, Sango looked at Kagome from the side of her eyes, and she grinned slyly. "Sooo…Kagome-chan…I'm pretty sure I saw you at Inuyasha's house this morning…What was that all about? You guys seemed pretty happy…" She giggled and said, "You didn't do it…did you??" Kagome flushed a crimson red, and stuttered, "O…of course not! W…why would I do so…something like that? A…And with Inuyasha too!" Kagome quickly paid for her food, and told Sango she had to hurry and get the food home. "Sayonara Sango-chan!"

Kagome quickly drove home, her face still flushed. "Aarg! I cant believe that Sango would say such a … a ridiculous thing!" Kagome's face somehow turned a darker shade of crimson.

Kagome got out of the car, and brought in the groceries. It was noon, and Kagome had work to do. After she put away all the groceries, she quickly got to work on a new project called the SnT import. Kagome sighed as she looked at the papers. Her company was so confusing at times! Besides importing jewelry from all over the world, they also had a section that searched for ancient jewelry.

For instance, a couple years ago, there was a rumor about an ancient pyramid in Egypt that held billions of dollars worth of jewelry. Naraku had sent over a team of highly skilled archeologists, and the works, to find the pyramid. Amazingly they did find it, and the company made millions selling it to museums.

Kagome looked through the papers when something spotted her eye. `Whats this? Hmm … The Shikon no Tama has a legend behind it. The Shikon no tama is a powerful jewel that can give power to demons and monsters. It is said that a powerful demon wanted to steal the jewel for his own needs, but the shikon was guarded by a powerful miko (priestess). They fought, and both were badly injured. The miko died, supposedly taking the tainted shikon with her to the afterlife. The demon, although injured, managed to escape, and he was never seen again to this day. Oooh that's reeeeaaal spooky, a evil jewel and a injured youkai. Weird though, if it's supposedly gone, why are we looking for it now?' Kagome shook her head, and started more research.

Kagome's eyes started to droop, and when she looked at the clock, she could see why. It was 22:00 (10:00). Kagome decided to head to bed, and do more research later.
